MW is hands down the best gun store I've ever been in, the selection is insane, anything you could want they have or can get.. Rob, Mason, Stephanie, Connor, Cam are stand up people with a TON of knowledge, they have helped me with so many questions and made sure I was getting what I was looking for. Justin and Chris handle all the NFA paper work like pros, have an NFA question or need advice ask these two guys!!! Sam and Alex are excellent gunsmiths, I can't say enough good things about them and their work. I'm happy to say this place is like a second home, very cool shop with VERY cool people. If you are in St. George or traveling anywhere near STG you HAVE to stop by the shop, you'll be blown away. #AMERICA read more

Sam was able to do a trigger job on a project 1 for me when I couldn't get others to do it. Came out so damn good! I was honestly regretting my purchase initially, but now it feels like a high end 2011. Was able to put the tightest group bill drill group I've ever had in under 2 seconds. Very please. The trigger is still as tight and smooth, this time with only 2lbs. This gun needs me to go faster and I'm very happy. Thanks! read more

These folks are THE shop to go to for all your modern firearms needs. You can actually handle the weapons and suppressors. EVERY staff member is a subject matter expert! I can't wait for them to open a location in Nevada. read more

Made a purchase on their website for an Eotech that was on sale. Was called later by the store to tell me that it was a price mistake and that the owner would not honor the sale price. About an hour after this call the President of Modern Warrior called to apologize for what had happened. I was taken aback as he had received word of the incident and wanted to make it right. He personally sent me an invoice for the item at the sale price. This is excellent customer service. read more

Completely professional environment. Not a small limited stocked business, as their storefront has plenty of accessories and high end tactical gear for all occasions. After an online purchase, picking up my sidearm was easy and simple. My sales person, Rob Lee, a tactical specialist was outstanding: detailed oriented, polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Definitely will be going back and highly recommend them. AAA+ service. And shout out to Mason for his help as well w/ the limited Edition Trump special they received for me. read more

I ordered a NFA item from them. I live in Mississippi and put it on layaway. My dog died the next day and I was quite bummed and totally forgot about it. I got a reminder that my layaway was coming to an end. I payed the remainder and they immediately shipped the item to my 2nd choice of SOT's cause the first was waiting for their hard copy from the ATF for 3 weeks. They promptly shipped it, and one of the managers followed up until all of the processing was done. I got approved in 2 hours through a Silencer Shop kiosk so I would recommend that service also. There are some bogus reviews on here where I suspect that either a competitor, or an anti 2A type is trying to bring down their score. Give these guys your business, you won't be disappointed. Thank you. read more

This is in response to the message on my initial review dated May 15, 2025 and Todd V's response on May 16, 2025. Todd, it really doesn't matter how Modern Warriors came to be the owners of the Nashville Armory. I am sure there is plenty of story there that I will be getting wrong as I am not an "insider". So, if you guys took over the leases, good for you. Your comment that Kimberly Kato has or had another full time job is wrong. I don't know what your people are telling you, but that is not factual. But, since you are not an "insider" to her life; you wouldn't know that. Kato was offered to stay if she would commit to 30+ hours per week, which she could not do. She did offer to handle the GSSF, do private lessons (by the way her students loved her), and offered 2 firm days per week. But, your manager was quick to say no and had the finalized paperwork ready to go. My suspicion is that Kato did not fit Modern Warriors type, but without any "insider" knowledge, I am sure I am wrong on that too. The guys you left to run the GSSF competition this past Tuesday night on June 3rd (which was the end of the quarter and was prize night) ran the match in an unorganized manner, did not have the gun certificate available for the winner as they could not find it, prizes were scarce since they could not find those, one of the contestants had to input and sort the scores. I say this as having competed in probably 95% of the GSSF matches at your facilities in Franklin and Nashville over the past 4 years. So, I consider myself an "insider" on that activity. Now, to the Holosun incident. No problem. You can make excuses for your guys all you want. But, whomever it was...being new had nothing to do with picking up a phone and calling the mother ship in Nashville to find out. No experience necessary as I know the guy knew how to use a phone as he had his out when I walked up to the counter. Kato is fine. She is actually very comfortable with the blessing in disguise. I just don't like people doing good people wrong. I am a business man too. And, I know that I have to make difficult decisons and cannot make everyone happy. You do not have to tell me that. But, I also have a right to speak my mind when I feel that a wrong has been done. Hope you understand. read more

This is the only gun store I give my business to. All staff are great people, friendly and knowledgeable. Fantastic selection of guns, ammo and accessories. Their page on Instagram is always nice to scroll through to check out different builds etc for inspiration if you happen to be on social media. Thank you MW for the consistently phenomenal service. 5 stars always. read more

I dropped by Modern Warriors to pick up some gear. The employees were nice and asked if I needed any help finding stuff. The store had ammo and lots of parts at the time and the shelves weren't bare. I would definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Note: Parking and location is on the second floor. Masks required. read more

Simply the best gun shop around. Insane selection, competitive prices, very knowledgeable sales staff. Won't go anywhere else.

This place is pretty legit! Cool Guns and great service! Other than a Bot know it all guy who gets offended because you say you like .40 better than 9mm even though you own 3 Staccato's chambered in 9 then continues to want to argue and make snide remarks like "You go ahead and keep shooting that dusty .40" and I quote. Then gets absolutely roasted scorched earth on the matter and admits defeat. Back to the lobby buddy. My brothers and I have spent tens of thousands in this place but one clown almost F'd it all up! Do better guy's. read more

Wow! What an amazing inventory of firearms and accessories! The work force was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Unfortunately, I live in California and all the guns I "loved" are not legal here. I did however pick up some necessities at great prices. Definitely will stop in again whenever I travel in St. George. read more

Amazing shop with a great staff. With an amazing manager who's willing to work to try to help you find what you need at the best price possible even if you're not local. If in the market for a firearm or any accessory, give these guys a chance they do not, and will not disappoint. Jhade was super fast on replies to my email questions and went out of his way to help get the deal done which I am forever grateful for. They're shipping department like customer service lightning fast an amazing item shipped the day I purchased it received it today and they've made a customer from a different state for life. I look forward to my next purchase from them. If you live in the area, you were super lucky to have such an amazing 2A shop, luckily for me they do online and shipped lightning fast to my state. Thank you again to Jhade, Jake, and the awesome team at Modern Warriors. read more

Modern Warriors - Guns & Ammo Near Me - St George, Utah

Modern Warriors is by my experience an outstanding, really textbook-ideal store due to: 1) large gun and accessories inventory ranging from quality guns and gear at great prices to bespoke guns worthy of John Wick; 2) customer-friendly store layout that makes it a pleasure to browse, handle, and decide; 3) friendly, non-intimidating staff that offer guidance but no pressure, ever, to buy; and 4) an all-around, positive vibe for the shooting world from tactical to just having fun. read more

I was warned by several people not to do business with Modern Warrior due to their reputation for delayed and rejected NFA items, as well as horrible customer service, but the free tax stamp deal sucked me in. Big mistake. During the filing process, it was delayed on their end and wasn't processing after waiting for a week with the excuse "he isn't here today" every time we needed something done. I decided to request a refund, and was initially told I'd get a call about it--never happened. When I showed up in person to resolve it, I was granted a refund, minus a $25 fee. I was told that this fee was what they were charged by SilencerShop for using the kiosk. I spoke with the manager and explained that the delay was on their end, asking if they could refund the fee, but they flat out refused. So, I drove down the street to Al's Sporting Goods and processed everything the same day, no issues at all. Save yourself the hassle--avoid Modern Warrior at all costs. In response to Todd: The email was not wrong it was a different email used to create the silencer shop account, A new E forms account was made in less than 5 minutes and then the error was on the last step for modern warriors to insert the pin. Everything was not worked out at modern warriors that caused ALS Sporting to go smoothly as they do not use a kiosk. Now I tried to work things out with the management for the $25 but since you guys rather charge then to make a deal I guess you will exchange a bad reputation for $25. read more

** UPDATE ** They have been more helpful lately when I go in. That's why I've changed my review from 2 to 5. Make sure to check around before you purchase firearms here most are 10-25% higher than gun shops only miles away. I saved $400 by buying my Vector down the road 2 miles. This was a great store and I love the open floor plan with the firearms and I spent thousands here but there has been a few times I've gone in and didn't really feel like they wanted to help me it almost felt like they are forced to help me even though they know I've spent a good amount here. read more

Excellent store with professional and friendly staff. I had purchased my Staccato 2011 P from them back in February of this year. Smooth transaction and excellent customer service. They have an excellent selection and inventory at their store. While I live up in northern Utah I still love dropping by their store when I'm driving through St. George. read more

I'm simply amazed and slightly jealous this great place is in St. George. They managed to have some great inventory packed in a small place. The people are friendly and knowledgeable. They even provide simple "part swapping" services. Read: not gunsmithing. They have a pretty good selection of suppressor accessories for SilencerCo and a few other brands. They also have parts you need for your latest build and even for the more exotic as like the KRISS. All for a fair price. read more

Modern Warriors - Great selection - Guns & Ammo Near Me - St George, Utah

Copied and pasted from my Google review: Just stopped by and gotta say that while they are equipped with the latest and greatest (impressive setup and floor of goodies), they will NOT be seeing my mug there again. A dozen employees working. A whole cluster of them standing around in a corner shooting the shit (no pun intended). No greeting upon entering, nor even when a couple of them passed by me. As a matter of fact, the one looked at me and my friend and seemed like he couldn't get away fast enough. I clearly could have used some assistance (wasn't browsing; went straight to the ammo selection and was searching). I work in the industry as well (frontline), so had heard from different people about their negative experiences here (there are a couple of other industry establishments I know of, ones with great reputations, that refuse to have anything to do with them.) But man, it's one thing to hear about something and experience it firsthand. Even when I took my ccw class here I got that 'exclusive vibe' (had no idea how bad it was, though, because I wasn't in the shop). It is VERY OBVIOUS by the younger staff and exclusive vibe here that it's all about the 'tacticool' crowd. If you're not (something I clearly am not, nor plan to be), YOU DON'T MATTER. The only reason I even gave them a one star rating is because of the setup itself. It IS cool. But yeah... that's all they deserve. read more

Went to another gun shop because they were down the street from my house and got quoted $250 to do some minor work on my lever action 44mag. Blown away with the price, I decided to drive that extra 15 mins to modern warriors and I couldn't be happier. Immediately was directed to the gunsmith area and he not only fixed my gun in 10 mins but also told me "it's on the house." WE NEED MORE BUSINESSES LIKE THIS! I appreciate what yall have done for me and I will continue to ONLY buy parts and guns from you guys Trust me, Modern Warriors is the best in town and don't waste your time with these other "money hungry" gun shops. read more

Everything you need, clean open store and nice folks helping. Who could ask for more?

David and Titus (I hope that's how you spell his name) helped me out with all my suppressor questions. We were able to figure out some things for my Mojave 9 and they were both super knowledgeable and helpful. The vibe is killer and will definitely be going back. read more

This store is clean and tidy. Staff is very helpful. Selection is abundant. Prices are average. Covid precautions are in play. Drove up from Vegas just for ammo. read more

I haven't stepped foot in the door but I assure you this place is amazing. I live in Vegas and I'm constantly surfing online looking for gems like this. The staff is great, I call and get someone on the phone within a ring or two, it's the people working here that makes the difference. When I call, I inVision another advocate picking up the phone on the other side with a side arm strapped to his waist delivering knowledgeable information at my request. (I don't think I'm to far off). These guys are great, I call they answer. I ask, they deliver. I called to confirm a few items bought and the man on the other end said "yes sir just put the shipping label on it". Thank god the big guys suck so smaller gems like Modern Warriors can shine. I had some issues with an order, to no fault of Modern Warriors. It was a vender issue and they didn't hesitate to make it right. The manager on deck Todd is as solid as they come. He made things right and made it easy. Lastly to add, as stated before I'm constantly looking at local inventory and offerings. Surfing websites etc.. They keep a lot of inventory on their website and appears they update it frequently. This is what actually grabbed me as a customer. I now browse the site looking for what I need before going to any big box sites that we are accustomed too. At the very least someone who's knowledgeable and service driven will answer the phone with any questions you may have. This is my now my Go-To for any firearm and accessory. read more

Great place. During these pandemic times, most gun stores are plenty busy, therefore they feel no need to provide customer service or answer the phone, understandably so considering how busy they are. These guys answered the phone, answered all my questions, and were generally pleasant to deal with when I made a visit. Great guys, great inventory, check them out. read more

Knowledgeable and experienced armorer. Fixed an AK firing issue quickly while I waited. The selection of AK parts and accessories is second to none. Highly recommend. read more

Wow, visited here while I was in St George and was very impressed with their selection and service. Well appointed store with a massive selection of firearms and accessories. Great Staff that is highly knowledgeable with great customer service. There is a massive inventory as well.

Was in town for an event and was in need of equipment. Saw Modern Warriors were highly rated and recommended. Made this a must see. Got there right at opening time and was warmly greeted by the staff. Told them I was in town and looking for some equipment. Apparently, what I was looking for has been falling out of favor. Since they did not have what I was looking for, I asked for a recommendation. Without hesitation, they gave me the name of another business in the area. There were no bad attitudes or wannabes here. Great customer service. Will definitely look them up when in this area again. read more

I bought a Glock 19X and had to come down for the blue line price. Took the family on a trip and it was well worth it. Great store and staff, clean and neat, made me want to make the trip again to MW. Almost bought a second while in town, but I will be back and do business with these guys for sure. Really felt like a VIP when I visited this store! I had 3 different salesmen attending to my needs. First the firearm salesmen doing a thorough job of educating me and offering me a variety of options in my desired type of pistol. Then the custom made conceal carry holster maker, Bryce, giving me my options. He also helped me choose ammo for business and pleasure. ;) Finally the last salesman recommending easy reload gadgets and helping me cover all bases. Like all the reviews say, they have excellent customer service, they know and live their products and they also carry Black Rifle Coffee... been drinking that for years so it was a total win win! read more

Awesome staff. Came in to visit Zion and got some ammo on the way back to California. Best store in St George for guns and ammunition.

By far the best gun store I've ever been to. All the guys are knowledgeable and friendly. Craig and Tristen both have great experience to draw advice from and have good senses of humor, and the owner Todd is just an awesome dude that takes good care of his regulars. They have a massive collection of guns here and will install any parts you buy in store. So, long story short, this isn't just "A" gun store in St George. It's "THE" gun store in St George.
