I love to browse this place. Sometimes I find stuff I can't live without. If you have time to kill this is the place.

Oldest pawn shop in Cedar City. Family owned, nice folks, very polite and friendly. Lowest fee in town for a firearms transfer.

The House of Joy. Service perfect. Value - appropriate…read more We spent a bit of time rambling through the vastness of this once-hotel. When we finally got in the pay line, a girl with a fishing net almost too big for a glowing, excited three year old to carry was headed out the door with her grand dad. He looked like one of my great uncles, long. lanky, weathered, straw-hatted, grinning ear to ear, taking his gal out to The Good Spot. A couple from Las Vegas bookended another three year old clutching a short, lidded cylinder of night-crawlers worms. She was eager to get outside with Dad and Mom to catch her first Big One. A local stranger, in on business gave them pointers on good spots and The Right Bait. Worms were one of them. If trying to catch fish with drowning worms. If eating those fish bothers you, read no further. This pawn shop, like most, has firearms. Hunting rifles and pistols. Old and new. Air rifles, rubber band shooters and slingshots too. Then there's everything else. Tools, bric a brack and standard pawn shop stuff is upstairs. Coins, knives, stuff you never knew ypu needed. downstairs. I could spend a day here before I spent serious money. We were tourists. This was a short stop on a very long, purposeful journey. What's your outdoor joy? You may find it here.

As soon as you walk in, the entrance is stacked with displays of long guns, knives, tactical flashlights, ammo, fishing bait, accessories etc. As you turn the corner the display of handguns pops as well. The handguns were priced better than what we'd find these days in Vegas during this Covid lockdown. Jason assisted my friend with a handgun purchase to be shipped to Vegas. The transaction was painless and efficient. Jason was super friendly and answered all our questions with a smile. The business is also a pawn shop and is multi-leveled with numerous rooms to explore. There were plenty of items you'd expect to see in a pawn shop and then some. Our favorite sections we explored was the army surplus area and the fishing area of course. If you're ever in Beaver and need any fishing gear, Beaver Sport & Pawn has you covered. It's also a unique shop to explore a little if you have the time. Buckle up!
