Listed as a gated community but the gated have maybe worked a total of ten days in two years and that not consecutive. 2. Maintaince issues- I've had a mouse issue for over a month they marked it complete even after never visiting the apartment and had to handle on my own. I'm on the second floor so probably multiple units. Broken sink took over a month to fix. When I called after two weeks the leasing agent Raine told me I could do it myself. It took another two weeks. 3. Pool has been down both summers this year was for 45 days at the start of summer. Last year it would get green and they'd shut it down for safety issues. The neighbors are great and fun monthly activities. Maya is the only reason people stay, she is literally the sweetest person, listens and tries. Any of the other 29 agents they have cycled through aren't personable and don't seem to care. Would love to stay another year but this place is falling apart and over priced. Update: After 47 days with leasing continuing to never have pest show up and me finally laying traps. The mouse was caught. On Nov 7th pest control stopped by confirmed the infestation over a month from my initial maintenance request and needed to get their supervise. I have yet to tell the mark the mouse was caught 12 days later and still haven't heard anything.

The fitness center is a good size and is always kept clean. I haven't got to use the volleyball court or pool yet, but it looks great. The only two improvements I can think about is that there are: 1. you receive many emails that you get during and after the application process and it is a little difficult to keep track of which one is most important. It's not only from the apartment complex but from third-party apps as well. 2. Assure you have your parking permit visible , and If you have a visitor, please follow the instructions regarding visitor parking because there is a tow company that is regularly here and will tow your car quickly. I'd been aware of Copper Chase of course living next door but had no idea how nice it was until we got fed up with our previous complex and came here. I believe this complex was originally built as condos so they are much better built than the typical apartment. High ceilings upstairs and downstairs, lights in every room, multiple ceiling fans, wet bar, patio and master bedroom storage areas. Plus two bedroom units have a garage...and it's bigger than I expected. No need to worry about banging your doors in the walls getting out. The floors don't creak, each unit seems very well isolated in terms of noise. Keyless entry, smart thermostat you can control with the panel or an app on your phone. Well lit at night, feel much after here only 500' from where we used to live.

Our unit is still being power washed before moving in, which I appreciate the extra effort to make the place as new as possible before we start living there! All in all, you'll be very welcomed here and likely have a great experience!

Last night my GF's vehicle was towed in the parking lot, car was here for one night. The office stated an email was sent about registering a car, but the office managers both stated they find the first one and tow. I bring this up to say they do not enforce what they want they enforce easy. NO one walks patios even though I read emails about cracking down, no own placed their trash in the right spot. The occupancy of apartments is greater than the lease in some instances. Since December there have been two shooting incidents here, the police are here regularly throughout the day. I would advise to run, as a man who has one leg, I am now getting out of here as fast as I can. Rules are fine I love them but they need to be enforced across the board and not just what is convenient. Management is nice but they are likely to just cite policy they did for me. Last cherry on top they the office and management stated you could not block Joplin Rd because that is Arlington and they will enforce the no parking code, well I live facing that street about 10 cars maybe more park there nightly and nothing but a car in a parking lot that I pay rent to gets towed, nice way to make your residents feel good. Maybe that punch and cookies for the next outing will do the trick. ***REVISION ORIGINAL POST**** Great place to live. Fast and friendly maintenance stuff. Convenient location.

There was an ant infestation that affected my family, and it took far too long to get resolved. Maintenance requests in general are either delayed or ignored. A major safety issue with the washing machine lid has still not been fixed, even after it caused injuries to both my wife and me. The condition of the property is also unacceptable. Hallways often smell like marijuana, floors are dirty, and there are dead bugs throughout common areas. Exterior doors are frequently left open, which has led to non-residents entering the building and even sleeping in the hallways. Packages are also frequently stolen from the mailroom, which adds another layer of concern around security and management oversight. On top of that, management has been unresponsive and tends to make excuses instead of fixing problems. The outdoor areas are poorly maintained, with dog waste covering much of the grass. For the price, the living experience is well below average. I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a safe, clean, and well-managed place to live.
