This is a fun pet store. You can pay $10 to play with the puppies. My mom paid an employee to play with a puppy and my brother in law also paid to play with a puppy but he paid a different employee than my mom. The employee that helped my mom took her I.D and held it while we played with the puppy. The employee that helped my brother in law didn't take his I.D. When my mom was done she gave the employee back the puppy and my mom spaced on getting her I.D back and the employee also didn't think about it. We are from Salt Lake so the next day we drove home and we were flying out to Puerto Rico a few days later. My mom realized she never grabbed her I.D once we got home. She had to hurry and have them mail to back to her before our flight to Puerto Rico. It was very frustrating.

Visiting Best Friends Animal Sanctuary was truly the experience of a lifetime. I have been a donor…read moreand member for over 18 years and my dreams of visiting the sanctuary exceeded all expectations. The sanctuary tour was informative and breathtaking, and the Pig & Goat Tour was an absolute highlight. Our tour guides, Cat and Tolo, were knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the animals in their care. Their stories and dedication made the experience even more meaningful. What touched me most, however, was meeting one of the many volunteers who travel to the sanctuary each year to give their time in service of its incredible mission. I met Holly, whose story deeply inspired me. She shared why she gratefully sets aside time from her own life to come here and be part of the sanctuary's mission to "Save Them All." Her compassion and selflessness reminded me that every volunteer is an essential piece of a much larger puzzle, giving hope to animals who deserve love, safety, and a second chance. Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is so much more than a place to visit--it's a place that changes your perspective and fills your heart. Whether you come for a tour, volunteer, or simply experience the sanctuary, you'll leave inspired by the extraordinary people, the resilient animals, and the unwavering commitment to creating a better world for them. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and I know this won't be my last visit.

They had availability for the Grand Tour and after eating at the nearby Angel Village Cafe, we were off on the shuttle. Ours was a pretty personal tour with only 6 people in total. We first went over to see the resident pigs, including plenty of petting. I loved how they flopped down, ready for belly scratches, immediately upon us entering the pen! We then took a drive around Dogtown, then a stop at Cat World, including a visit into one of the 11 buildings on site. Plenty of cats lounging around to pet. Finally, we drove around the Bunny House, Wild Friends building, and Horse Haven. All in all, it took around an hour and a half, with plenty of excellent commentary the entire time. I do have to say I am a little skeptical about some of the stories - for example our tour guide Amanda told us about an animal shelter which didn't have any employees on site during the weekends so every Friday they euthanized the animals in their care... No way, right? Before visiting Best Friends Animal Society, I thought it was kind of cult-like, but they don't seem to be particularly pushy. In the end, it's a free tour, making it a cheap and entertaining way to spend an afternoon.

We have been in there several times. The owner has always had a bad attitude with us. She gets…read morereally snippy with my kids. She acts like we are idiots, and she is so superior when is comes to pet knowledge. If you are going to be a business owner, learn some customer service skills. We had finally makes a decision on what we were going to purchase, and we're planning on going back today. After the experience we had, we will never go to her store again. We will make sure everyone we know will not go there as well. My kids were not running around like crazy. They are not those kind of kids. My son ( who is a fairly calm 9 year old ) was playing with the rabbit- who seemed to enjoy the attention. You could have simply told my son it could scare the birds- instead of sharply saying " I'm going to have you stop. It gets enough exercise during the day". I would stop my kids from being crazy- if that was actually the case. The other time- you started to set a bird on my daughter shoulder- without warning and she flinched out of reaction. You told her she isn't ready for a bird. You completely broke her heart. As you have seen, my daughter has been very interested in a bird and has tried asking you a lot of questions. Honestly very disappointed in your people skills. Also, you do not try to educate. You talk to them like they are beneath you. From an online source: "Some people don't realise just how much exercise rabbits need. They should not be kept in their hutch all day long without any form of exercise. A lack of exercise can lead to serious health problems such as obesity, poor bone and muscle density and urinary infections." www.timeforpaws.co.uk ' owning-y...
