It's much more a deli than a grocery store- not a dig, just the truth. I arrived around 1pm and they had a steady stream of people ordering smoothies and deli items. They have a fun mix of locally made crafts, some organic food items and some weird art. Truly an original mix! But the most important things - the place was clean. The bathroom was clean. The employees were clean and exceptionally friendly and attentive. And most importantly - the food was soooo good!! I had the veggie wrap grilled (because I'm in an endless search for good vegetarian food to eat on the go) and omg was it good. The perfect mix of crispy and fresh veggies, just enough sauce without being overpowering. The wrap itself was delicious, flavorful and super fresh tasting. He helped the young lady at the delivery window cheerfully when my husband needed help with part of our transaction. There are mom and pop Espresso stands in our small town, but not visible from highway 8 and 12. We rotate so that our local businesses are supported. Today we rotated to Starbucks and there was Devin taking orders. He just makes you smile by his voice. Not to overlook anyone there...they are all really awesome and kind. But Devin always is extremely cheer full. Today we had our special needs Grand Daughter with us...who can be picky. As soon as he knew who was ordering that cake pop...he grabbed a Blue One for her. The order comes and it's a refresher, matcha, and a grande hot americano. We brought this up and the worker immediately placed the blame on us??? They remade the two incorrect drinks and then some girl comes up and said "yeah, a green tea is a matcha" which is incorrect and unprofessional. Then when I asked for our pup cups, a third person comes up the window, basically shoves ONE pup cup in our hand and slams the window shut. All this because they can't manage a simple order and get it right the first time. I am flabbergasted, appalled, and embarrassed that they chose to act this way. Starbucks should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this behavior. Order time: 11:21 6/15/26

Service was prompt and friendly. The menu is limited, but the sandwiches offered sounded good. We each ordered the BLT, as recommended, it was really good. Lots of raspberries in the cake itself and topped with a very lightly sweet frosting, raspberry jam, and nice tart lemon curd. Overall a totally positive experience. We did 3 each starting with homemade pimento cheese with celery sticks, sweet peppers sliced, and crustini. I'm not a big fan of the jarred commercial pimento cheese. This was extremely good. Tasting the peppers inside the cheese ball that you choose how and where to spread it. B+ maybe even A- for the flavor of the cheese and presentation. 2nd Course of shrimp etouffee. It was okay but too thin of a sauce due to a not dark enough roux. Flavors are spot on, shrimp are tender and delicious. A- for the effort to take on roux dishes. 3rd Course was a delicate hazelnut chocolate mousse in a champagne fluted crystal glass. Topped with a light whipped cream to find the dessert level. It had multiple layers of flavor in different areas of the mouth and nasopharynx. A+ for presentation and depth of flavor in a chocolate pudding! Cup of coffee to end the meal, so really 4 courses. The bookstore surrounds the entire restaurant. Very unique experience. Get reservations or try your luck with the Chef near 6:15 pm for a late exception allowed to slip in. Monthly menu then changed up, only work dinner shift on Fridays. Rest is lunch for Courthouse folk. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Overall Score A PS. There were other choices but I didn't try them so, another review for the future...
