The man, who must be the owner, behind the cash register is hilarious or at least he thinks he's hilarious or maybe both! It is quite an experience all around. The actual store for shopping is not exactly top-notch when it comes to tidiness and cleanliness. But all of that must be overlooked because they produce terrifically delicious sandwiches. I even decided to leave my daughter in the car so she wouldn't look around and complain and lose focus on the prize. There's something about freshly carved cold cuts coupled with delicious rolls and perfectly shredded lettuce that makes this sandwich special. We frequented many Wawa locations throughout our stay, but this one was special to us. Friendly and quick service, always a bustling of people coming to/from the Shore, clean and stocked, and offering pretty solid foodie products. They offer kiosks to order from which are pretty user-friendly, and we enjoyed our routine of grabbing the iced coffees ourselves. I feel like Wawa is a must if traveling on the East Coast. The food felt fresh for extremely fast-casual, and is literally so convenient to hop in/out on the way or home from a busy beach day. Portions are packed, and items are pretty easy on the wallet.
