Actually, I'm pretty sure she also travels, so definitely contact her for details. I really can't say enough positive things about the business owner / photographer, Lisa. She is super sweet! Her friendliness, professionalism, and expertise set the tone for a relaxed vibe during the shoot. Her confidence leaves no doubt in her ability to deliver. She allowed baby to be himself, just playing & laughing while her goal was to capture those cherished moments. The entire process was so perfect for what we wanted as well as our timeframe (due to my lovely procrastination, hah). Our images were delivered in a timely manner, and there's no dealing with all the silly restrictions like using only certain print shops, or purchasing digital images separately, blah blah, etc etc. Love having the freedom to do whatever we want with our baby's pictures!! We would definitely book with Modern Image Photography again, and encourage others to trust in Lisa to produce quality images to treasure for a lifetime.

It was…read moretruly such an honor to work with her from our engagement photoshoot to the day of our wedding. Background: On August 10, 2019 at Mount Shasta Resort, Heather and her team captured every essence of the best day of our lives. We had a lot of moving parts from the bipolar weather shifting from rainy to clear blue skies to densely packed program of our reception to managing photos with 230 guests. Yet, through it all, she managed to maintain her composure and had fun with us through it all. Style: Heather did a phenomenal job of capturing us and our goofiness as well as our gushy love and affection for each other. In addition, she was able to capture the traditional photos with family members and such. Process: She's great at communicating throughout the entire process. I never once felt like I wasn't in the loop. I HIGHLY recommend having Heather serve as the photographer for any event. She's got an impeccable eye for capturing all the right shots! We're absolutely ecstatic about our photos!

Heather is the best sort of artist--the artist who creates for love of both the act of creating and the subject. Though I dabble in photography myself, I am admittedly not photogenic. Heather took the best photographs I have ever seen of myself, and made me feel profoundly comfortable all the while. Though Heather is based out of Redding, California, she was willing to travel to our wedding in Southern California. I have many friends who have spent far more on wedding photography than my wife and I did and in my opinion, our photographs are the best I have seen. You will not regret choosing Heather for your wedding, or for family or senior portraits. We had We The Blackwells photograph our August wedding and we have nothing but great things to say…read moreabout the entire process. Like any couple planning their big day, we were very anxious about our photos and photographer being perfect. To say they stepped up to the plate is an understatement. From our consultation call to receiving our photos, the entire team was so professional, personable, and kind. On our wedding day, we got a thunderstorm and a crash on the interstate delaying our start time. What could have derailed the day, our photographers took and made it work out even better than we'd planned. They helped the DJ and us move our timeline around and got our photos in the perfect sunset lighting to keep our older family members out of the peak heat. We also forgot to cut our cake (we had a small cake for just us and our guests had sheet cake) and even though we were fine to go without those photos, they still made sure to get our wedding rings and take a photo of them with the slice of cake. It was a small thing for them to think of getting a shot of, but that attention to detail and putting themselves in our shoes is what makes We The Blackwells so valuable. Our guests had nothing but kind things to say about their interactions, and our entire bridal party absolutely loved them! Having all the people we love in one space is so rare, so for them to all be so happy and comfortable in every photo means the world to us. When we got our entire gallery back, we were blown away. Not only did they perfectly capture our relationship and the biggest day of our lives, but they got all the candid moments between. Thank you Crist, Hannah, and Mari! If you're looking for a photographer with compassion, humor, and a true eye for the perfect shot, we could not recommend We The Blackwells more!
