The dealership is called Texana Toyota now. My son purchased a vehicle from this dealership. Samuel, our salesperson, was great--helpful and professional. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. We came in with a pre-approval letter from our bank, expecting a simple process. Instead, a manager (didn't catch his name) insisted on using their "indirect" method and told us it would be a lot smoother because they would handle all the paperwork. That statement was completely false. The process took three hours just to finalize paperwork, and we were then forced to leave, drive to our bank for the down payment, and come back the next day to finish the deal. This back-and-forth was entirely unnecessary. Had the buyer's order been processed the way both my bank and I requested, everything could have been completed online in one visit. This was the worst car-buying experience I've had and a complete waste of time. I will not be returning to this dealership and would not recommend it to anyone. read more

Saw a cheap truck for sale online. I emailed the dealership as email is easier with my busy and erratic schedule. No response. I email again, get a generic response saying to call them. I call and get placed on hold for an extensive amount of time. I hang up. I get an email saying it had a personalized response. Wrong it was a generic automated response. I finally get an email from Kyle, no information about the truck and just a few pics. I am out of town and there was no pictures on the website so I am relying on the salesman for info. I email him back asking for the condition of the truck as it looked pretty rough in the pictures. No response to multiple emails. I call back and get the same guy. I ask him about the truck and all he said was I don't know, we don't check them...... So I asked how it was mechanically as it obviously had body issues. He said "well people have test driven it so it drives." That's all he had to say about it. I guess because it wasn't a $60,000 vehicle he didn't have time to be bothered. What a complete lack of any form of customer service. I called back trying to get a different salesman. I told the receptionist I wanted to speak to sales, she transferred me to service, told service I wanted sales, they sent me to a finance director's voicemail. Way to go. Their serviced department ROCKS! My family and I were driving through Orange Tx and all of the sudden I heard a noise under my car. I thought something must have gotten caught under my car. I pulled over and looked and the splash guard under the car had come loose. I could not secure it again and we still had a long way to go to get to Florida. As we pulled off the freeway my wife saw Cecil Atkission Toyota and we decided to try it. When we drove up they were waiting because they heard us as the splash guard was dragging on the road and quite loud. They had us come in and fit us in quickly and were able to secure it and help us with another small issue as well. They had great service techs, great attitudes and great coffee. I drove my sister from Beaumont to look at a car that I spoke with Monty about over the phone. When we got to Orange Jimmy came out to greet us and we told him what we were looking for, I told him the I had spoken to Monty, he went and got Monty but Monty left it to Jimmy to show us the vehicles. After test driving we went inside and Jimmy took her info without discussing price, he was ready to fax paperwork to her lender, WTF? how do you sell car without letting the person know the darn price. He gave her a purchase order for the sticker price not leaving room to negotiate. When I told the manager we drove all the way from Beaumont he said he drive from Beaumont everyday. Well he look good driving from Beaumont everyday with that shitty attitude not selling cars... I would not recommend anyone to stop by there. A waste of time! read more

Steer clear of this dealership! If I could give this dealership an F minus I most certainly would. I took my car in for several recalls. When making the appointment one would assume that they would have checked with their colleagues to make sure they have the proper tools and pieces necessary to fix these problems. That was not the case. I had to drop my car off on three seperate occasions to have the work completed. A loaner car is not an option at this dealership. On the second time of dropping off my car, they took it upon themselves to give me a "courtesy wash". Well this courtesy wash was more like if they would have used a belt sander. It caused extensive damage to my vehicle. They have refused to do anything about it. I have left voicemails upon voicemails and no reply yet. The service team is an absolute nightmare...Heywood, Tara, and even the GM have got numerous calls and none of them have done a thing about it. Poor customer service! Very horrible lack of communication! Do yourself a favor and dont step foot in that place! read more

I bought my last Toyota from a mid county dealer because Cecil Atkission didn't have the color my wife wanted, but it didn't affect the service department at all. Tom the Service Manager and his team treated us like VIP's every time we came in for service or an oil change. I had heard from others that the service department in Orange wasn't comparable to the large dealerships, but I find them a lot easier to schedule with and their personal touch makes the experience pleasant. Very bad experience here. Do not recommend this dealer to anyone. Bought a car here it had a issue with it. Been back numerous times it is still not fixed. The sales manager promised he would get it fixed when I bought the car. It's nothing but a scam and lie after lie this place is. Stay far away as possible from this place. Wouldn't stop here again. We were told our credit scores were so, we couldn't get a good rate. The shitbag salesman "made a deal" with someone for a 10% interest rate, and then bragged that he raised the price and took some sort of rebate from us for himself. He said "you're welcome!" after telling us this. We drove away and checked credit scores and what do you know, he lied. We had just lost our home in a fire, our van filled with 5 kids was busted, and this asshole takes advantage. There should be some sort of decency as a human.
