Mitch and Dan, partners, young men in their early twenties, have a head for business and are skilled at their trade. They may be young, but they know how to paint! They have informally been painting since they were sixteen. They took great care to help us pick the right colors - their input was nice, as they know the trends. Plus, they bought many sample size paints over so we could see if a particular color really would look like we imagined. I changed my mind several times. Mitch was very patient with me. I really appreciated his patience. They took care to move and/or cover furniture in the way. We had a considerable amount of moving of belongings, not easy. They never complained or up-charged us for all the moving. They cleaned and properly prepped the walls. Truly this is a most important step before even painting. Then they proceeded to paint. They paid attention to details. Edges were crisp. You can tell they take pride in their work. It shows! Besides painting of walls in bedrooms and bathrooms, we also had a bookshelf painted white. A laborious task of sanding off the wood stain and then painting. Came out beautiful and really gives our den an updated appearance. In addition, my front metal door was beat up and needed touching up. After sanding down and re-painting in spots, the door looks so much more presentable. Their prices are very reasonable. They are friendly, courteous, respectful and professional. We were so pleased that we referred them to a friend who needed painting in her house. She, too, was happy with the their service. I highly recommend Fresh Wall Paint. It's a pleasure to have these hard-working, enterprising, skilled, pleasant young men working in your home. You can trust them. I rarely leave negative reviews for local small businesses but I feel like I need to in this case…read more To be fair, the paint on my house looks good, no complaints about that, they did show up on time, they were quiet when they worked. The lack of stars come from the fact they didn't complete the work , and the general carelessness of the work completed. ( they were fairly neat with their lunch/break stuff other than a few Mighty Taco wrappers and drink bottles). They got paint in my mulch, on a shrub, on the flagstone and the lawn. They broke 3 of my solar lights and a piece of flagstone. They never told me this happened. They did come back and complete the work. I understand paint on the lawn will eventually be mowed away, mulch can be rearranged, shrubs can be trimmed, lights can be replaced. I don't expect to have to clean up after contractors. I know things can get damaged or broken, I expect to be told when that happens. Having good customer service isn't never making a mistake or never having something go wrong on a job, it's how those things are addressed and handled. Making excuses isn't what I would consider good customer service. My expectations for this company were just too high I guess.

Needless to say, those problem areas are still leaking. I've found more leaks with this new roof than I had with the 20 year old roof from the new construction. I had them come out to "fix" the areas that were leaking and they were here less than 15 minutes. It leaked again after that so they came back and put a some caulk down on a few nails. I'm still finding leaks all over the roof. Absolute crap work.

I also noticed that garden plants that I specifically indicated to be careful of had been damaged. Four weeks after the wrought iron railings were painted, the rust started coming through again. I called and was told they would return and redo the job. It's been two years and many communications later, and they have not returned to correct this issue as they promised.

Jeff and his crew were amazing! They worked diligently over an eight day period to remove 18 y.o…read more wallpaper from 6 offices, and a large medical reception area. Much of the wallpaper removal damaged the underlying wall board which required them to repair and seal it with an oil based paint. Once sealed, they skim coated the walls using three applications, sanded, and primed the walls leaving a very smooth, paint-able surface. They finished by painting all surfaces with two coats of our pre-selected colors using my favorite paint from Sherwin-Williams. They were very flexible with their scheduling and fortunately completed the wall paper removal and smelly, oil-based painting while our office was closed over a three day period. They completed the rest of the work starting at 7 AM until noon each day when we were least busy. They cleaned all areas well before departing each day which allowed us to keep dust to a minimum. Most importantly, at no point did they disrupt our business operations. At all times Jeff and his crew were courteous, flexible, considerate, respectful, and quiet with our administrative staff, our counselors, and most importantly with our patients . They were truly kind with a great attitude and great sense of humor. Significantly, the price was very fair and reasonable for the huge amount of work they completed. This will reduce the need for scope creep in the project. For projects that require cleaning up, you need to make sure there is a plan to remove the trash. You take it with you, or it needs to be bagged in contractor bags to be put out periodically with the trash. I wish your business the best. Contractor sub-contracted the work (without informing me know) and the sub-contractor damaged the walls by using incorrect pressure washer jet nozzle, ruining the foundation of house (knocked out mortar from foundation blocks). Brought this to their attention and they agreed this wasn't part of the original invoice, nor was it the intention. They told me to fix their mistake they must charge me an additional $900 on top of previously agreed upon price. This company does not do they work, they sub-contract it out. Your results will depend on who is available at the time to do the work. There are good reviews from people who have had good sub-contractors come in. There are also bad reviews from people who had bad sub-contractors come in. If a bad sub-contractor damages your property, it will become your financial responsibility to have it fixed.
