Tiftickjian did a great job cleaning them, the stains were still there but now barely visible, the others looked brighter. They looked so much better. The work was high quality once they finally finished. I moved to another 1,100 sq ft condo in July 2026 and tried with them again. I told Dick on the phone what happened last time and he said they'd take care of it. I wanted an estimate for wall to wall and large area rugs (almost wall to wall) that required minimal angles and of course binding the edges. The quote for the large area rugs was over 9K! He said the wall to wall wouldn't be much less expensive. While we were on the phone he mentioned that they were working on a lot of jobs for people who have flooded basements. He said he would call me back with a quote for the wall to wall but never did. I believe the 9K quote was total BS. He just gave me a ridiculously large number so I would decline to work with him. Bottom line is he just didn't want such a small job. if you don't have a large house or business I wouldn't bother with Tiftjickjian and Sons.

And it's a family-owned operation and everyone in the family was extremely polite and helpful. I have handed out of the flyers. They left me and let others see my floor. Did not receive any response. I starting sending multiple emails & voice messages. They did not respond until I threatened to leave a bad review. I was told they were backed up & it would have to wait until fall. At this point, other painters I reached out to were not accepting new work, so I tried to be patient/understanding & said I'll wait. It's Sept 23rd, I emailed one final time to get on the schedule & was told again they are too busy. Why would they take new business when they have existing signed contracts?! Now I'm stuck with no painter & probably won't be able to get this done until next Spring! That's bad business! There's a lot of painters out there, I'm sorry I trusted this one!

After reading their reviews, and checking out their work on Instagram, I decided to request a quote. The price was so reasonable that I didn't actually quote with anyone else. We got scheduled, and Brendan was very patient & polite answering all of my emails, texts & phone calls with questions about preparation, after care, timeline, etc. (And I had A LOT of questions!) When the day came for him to arrive, he showed up right on time. He was very friendly & knowledgable. Right away he explained what type of floor we had, the grain, even how they cut the tree to make it. We could tell right away that he knows his craft and that we were in good hands. He was right on time with everything else too - like when he said he would have the color samples laid down so we could come back to pick one, and when we could come check out the finished product. We went from light to dark - something Brendan was excited about doing. And oh my gosh... our floors are GORGEOUS. I can't stop walking around the house looking at them. He did a phenomenal job!
