Asked owner for trim threshold that was told to me by his guy Greg that would leave one and it wasn't with the material told me wasn't part of the deal Ok I told him but his kid said they would handle it from original deal; their customer Service is not customer centric especially with their original installer from my original review. Worst carpet installation experience ever. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. 3 carpet installers arrived at my door, when I opened it they had opened the storm door and were just inches from my face. They were not wearing masks as per NYS Covid-19 business compliance executive orders. They continued into my home with no regard for the safety of my family and when asked about compliance, they informed me that they were not required by their employer, Carpet Collection, to health screen or wear any PPE. They began the installation by attempting to tie my living room drapes in knots, at which time I stopped them and took my drapes down. They used my bathroom multiple times, leaving a mess and URINE ON MY BATHROOM FLOOR! Once the carpet was in place they proceeded to walk in and out of my home with their shoes on, all over the brand new carpet. They did not clean up the mess after installation, leaving behind loose staples, various nails and cut carpet debris all over my home. They stated they were done and were leaving,  When I asked them to clean up their mess they told me no, "That's all you." While cleaning up after this horrible installation team, I found 4 nails, sticking up in the middle of my upstairs hallway in the new carpet. These nails were not driven into the floor, rather they were left at carpet height, sticking up roughly 1 inch. This was an incredibly dangerous thing to find and done purposely and maliciously to injure my family. The owners of the store, Gary Case and his son, Ben, refused to give me any information on the 3 men they sent to my home, as I would like to file criminal charges. They confirmed via email that they are not following Covid-19 compliance. They also stated that they were personally and professionally embarrassed by the way their crew left my home. However, they offered no compensation for any of these enormous problems. I have filed complaints with the New York State Department of Health and with the Better Business Bureau. read more

After going to Lowe's, Home Depot, and a variety of flooring stores, I found the perfect place to buy flooring! The Carpet Collection caught my eye because of the many rave reviews on Yelp, and let me add to those. Their selection was better than anywhere else, and the service could not have been better. Ray helped me and guided me through the many options. I chose vinyl plank flooring, and now that it's installed I love it! Elliot and Shane were the installers, and they were total pros. Did an excellent job and were as skilled and professional and nice as could be. For anyone looking for flooring needs, I cannot say enough about the Carpet Collection! read more

I'm giving four stars after a two star experience because the owner is great and they've been around the area forever. Usually my experiences with them have been positive, but not the last couple. I don't want to get into detail, but if you go with them and you're unhappy, let the management know - they have idiots working for them and I'm sure they're aware; the complaint you lodge will lead to a remedy or compensation. read more

Talk about customer experience!! Great showroom, I'm talking huge with tons of selection. Knowledgable staff that guided me through the selection of new flooring for my kitchen. After discussion with the sales staff there we decided on LVT for our kitchen. Couldn't be happier (kids, pets, you name it the floor is know as "bullet proof" in my home) Installers were clearly experienced and were a pleasure to have in my home. INCREDIBLE SERVICE & INSTALLATION! Just had 500 sq. ft. of laminate flooring installed in our family room & the space is truly TRANSFORMED! Carpet Collection did an excellent job of listening to what we wanted to do with our room & suggesting the right flooring to fit our vision, lifestyle & budget! Our installer was very professional, knowledgeable & hardworking. He did a great job of evening out our floor (which was a bit wavy, to put it mildly!) & the results are incredible - smooth, flat & straight. We bought carpet for our upstairs bedrooms, hallways, and two sets of stairs and all of our hardwood floor from here, we were referred here by one of our friends and will 100% never walk back into the store again there was somebody there that we could talk to and we told him what we were looking for in a hardwood floor and how much traffic is on the floor and that we have a 115 lb dog as well so we needed something that was strong and durable for all of that. We trusted the man that we were working with and come to find out he sold us an expensive hardwood floor that's soft wood and doesn't hold up very good with our dog. The amount they wanted for them to come in and install the floor was close to what we paid for the hardwood so we didn't have them install it. Let's fast-forward 4 years down the road - and we have to fill in the spots on the hardwood floor that have been scratched, luckily we found something that matches almost perfectly but we're very disappointed in that salesman that just wanted to take advantage of a young couple, at least that's how it felt... when I go up our stairs I can feel the tack, if you put your foot too close to the front of the stair ... our carpet upstairs in the master closet area has came up away from the wall I've called there twice now asking for some help I've been directed to the install manager twice (he wasnt available either time ) so I left my name, my number and the issue both times. I have not received a call back. It's absolutely disgusting to me how they could still be in business after things like this happen to their customers and they have no urgent need to take care of them. read more
