I took the 3-day class at Quick CDL and passed, just like they said I could if I followed their instructions. A lot of reviews complained about the class, but the truth is, this program isn't for everyone. The material is fast and intense. If you have trouble learning quickly or aren't going to study at home, don't waste your time. But if you're serious, willing to bust your butt outside of class, and have some basic understanding of trailer backing, this program works. The instructors are all business, and they give you exactly what you need, no fluff. I stuck to their plan, studied hard on my own time, and passed. For the price it's very worth it. The quality is great if you go with the 3-day plan like I did. The instructors are very helpful, but you have to pay attention and actually spend the time studying if you want to pass. There's nothing simple or easy about it. Just got hung up by Christina after she must have confused us for someone else. She has mismanaged appointments with DPS and is the rudest customer service professional I've dealt with in a long time. Call me back Christina and I'll change my view but at this point you blocked me after yelling at me, not even letting me talk. If you're too busy taking more money maybe consider taking care of the clients you already have and try remembering who they are before yelling at someone for no reason! Great! I WOULD NOT use this place. They took my 500 deposit gave me no information other than to show up at the TA travel center truck stop in rockwall with the rest of my cash. When I got there something wasn't right I could tell. I asked for my deposit back that I was goin to a different place. Billy called me about 30 minutes later tellin me I was "chicken shit, a worthless piece of shit,"and that he "knew I was fuckin skunk the moment he saw me". This place is absolutely unprofessional and nothing more than a scheme to con hard working people trying to move up in their career. They DO NOT provide the proper information, they failed to provide ANY information on the PRE TRIP, did not even START the truck to go over the air.brake inspection, the instructors DO NOT manage time or resources based off of groups scheduled for that lesson. They stood around, they were on their phones, and 2 instructors DISAPPEARED without any notice leaving one man with 15 people and 1 truck! The truck that was practiced in WAS NOT the same truck that was provided for the day of testing. AND the truck that was brought for the test did not pass the trip inspection!. When we simply tried to voice our concerns on the money we spent and the service provided Billy was nothing short of nasty, condescending, outrageous and flat out disrespectful!! (The man was even degrading enough to yell and cuss at his wife in front of my husband for trying to bring the matter to his attention) I could understand the stress of running a company but this man runs nothing more than a falsely advertised truck rental to con people out of money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - 0 out of 5 Stars - These people only want your MONEY Christina (Sales Rep) will over talk you an won't allow you to get one word in before asking for your credit card information. The (FAKE) address listed in Google/Yelp is a securely gated tennis club suburb to a random private townhouse they refused to give me their actual address when asked. I paid a total of $1,000 to this company: $500 to use their truck for my exam (ONE TIME USE ONLY) as well as for them to schedule your exam within 2wks to a month, $250 to attend a Saturday Pre-Trip & backing course from the hrs of 6:30 - 4:00 pm (They end class by 2pm EARLY so they need to refund people a portion of their money back) and allow everyone in the course to attempt the 3 parking courses ONE TIME ONLY (If you struggle they will offer private lessons which are $250 for 1hr & $500 for 3hrs which is just another way to hustle you). Billy tends to leave the Saturday course in his brand new Range Rover he's paying for with your money after he goes over the Pre-Trip so whatever he told you about him helping you personally etc its complete bullshit he does his portion and leaves. I paid an additional $250 for 1hr on private lessons where they showed up with their truck on my exam date late so I was unable to truly practice before my exam. One of their customers who I met on Saturday during the course failed their exam since Billy only went over the automatic Pre-trip an brought a totally different manuel truck than the one the guy practiced in Saturday, another customer failed his exam because they brought the wrong vehicle to his exam (Automatic instead of Manuel) which he paid more than $500 to use, and as for me I failed my parking exam which I only received 20 minutes of rushed practice in a dark parking lot between an overly spaced out curb & speed bump early in the morning where I was told "Hurry up get in their get as many attempts as you can because we have to head back to the DMV for others testing before you." After all of us failed our exams all they did was excessively apologize as if they truly gave a damn. Billy stated that he would work something out for us separately and informed me that he will speak to Christina about helping us out since their was a mistake on their part. Well once Christina called in a ecstatic tone she informed me that Billy offered us to use their vehicles again at a discounted rate of $350-400 then placed me on a brief hold to see if she still had my credit card information on file, LITERALLY. I refused paying for anything & requested for my $250 back since I paid for a 1hr service I did not receive and I was continuously refused a refund. Christina had the audacity to literally fix her mouth to ask me why I didn't want to use their truck again? Why can't I drive back to Dallas? Why can't I get another hotel? Do I have family in Dallas to stay with? Well since you don't have family here, dang where are your friends? Where are your friends from? (ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR $) because of my constant refusal to spend anymore $. I was rescheduled days beforehand to come back to Dallas where I would be granted my 1hr lesson since I was unable to receive a refund for something I paid for & didn't receive. I drove literally 5hrs back to Dallas for the 2nd time to receive a returned phone call telling me that Billy said "It will be a waste of your time & our time to give you your 1hr lesson your only OPTION is to continue to the program with us by using our trucks (Meanwhile I've already driven 5hrs away from home to Dallas)." I repeatedly informed Christina that this doesn't make sense, this was scheduled days ago & I paid for something I didn't receive I demand a refund I don't want to spend anymore money with y'all. All of my remarks fell upon deaf ears as she informed me that this was my only option. I asked Christina if I would have to take legal matters because this is basically a form of thievery and that is when she said "I don't have time for this", and hung up the phone in my face (The screenshot of the text message is what followed afterwards). Long story short after threatening to notify the business bureau and others along with Christina yelling at my assistant "He's a grown man he can handle this himself!" then hanging up on her I had to drive back to Dallas for a 3rd time to get 45min out of 60min of training since I was unable to get my $250 back from them. If you go to Google and read their negative review replies from the company at least 99% of them they claim they don't recall meeting or speaking with those individuals it is literally the same reply for all of them. These people are a joke and I swear to you on my soul all they want is your money, they could careless about you, your effort, or your time. I was disrespected, lied to multiple times, wasted ridiculous amounts of miles & gas, and my money was basically stolen all while they were trying their damnedest to milk me for more MONEY. read more

UPDATED 2/15.... Yesterday was my 2nd test date. I spent three hours with Billy practicing skills for the road test and backing maneuvers prior to my test. His encouraging manner plus geometric explanations helped give me the skills and confidence I needed to pass the test. "Timing out" isn't the same as "failing;" therefore, I passed on my first attempt. Granted, my first attempt took two days, but I accomplished the goal that I set for myself. ​All the bad reviews that you read are VERY TRUE. Anyone that writes anything good has either paid a lot of money, a friend, or probably a family member. That did to me everything that the reviews said they would. They were EXTREMELY RUDE, and when I refused to pay for anymore days their attitude totally changed. They would not answer the phone, and if you did not pay the additional services they offered, they just throw you in a truck with no help. They have a pocket with one full paragraph that says that you will fail no doubt about it, that you will fail if only buying one day. Why even make one day an option? I know what you're thinking, I did not fail! I never even got to drive the truck. They took my $1,000, and was no help in scheduling for another day when I did not violate any of the rules that had to do with re-renting. This service is DISGUSTING! I advise you to go with CDL CONNECTION. They offer way more help and drive time, and are willing to accommodate your needs if you have already paid. read more

This company is not for new drivers with no prior cdl training. They don't train you at all. Driving is set for the afternoons 1-5pm. They take you to a large parking lot and set up cones for back up driving, offset parking, and parallel parking. It was at least one dozen of us in the class. They used two trucks. When your turn came you got in the truck and attempted the task. If you made an error they would blow the whistle and you had to hand the truck off to the next student. It would then be another 40 minutes till your turn came again. This scenario would repeat over and over until 5pm. The problem is that you were only behind the wheel for a couple of minutes at a time before you made an error and you had to hand the truck to the next student. Secondly they did not sit in the truck with you and help you before you went wrong. They just let you cycle through time and time again making many of the same or different mistakes. I guess they hoped you would figure it out on your own. Of the 13 students I was there with, 11 had previous experience with the trailer so they were able to figure it out on their own. The two of us that had no experience struggled. I also paid for one on one training at $150/hr. that they did not provide. I would not recommend this company for new drivers without prior experience. They were also very unprofessional with their liberal use of foul language and sexual innuendo while teaching. read more

This is the worst place to use for CDL training. All they do is take your money and don't really show you anything. My husband spent over $1100 and did not learn anything. The truck you do the pre-trip on is different then the truck they bring to the DPS office so you will fail. As you don't have a clear where the items are on the new truck. Your practice time is in a old truck that needs to be repaired as it is on its last leg. I know I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy so go anywhere else but here for CDL training. read more

There is a lot about this company. The class is about the same as any other that it still ends up being up to you to learn the materials. Now they just go over pre trip and give you a list of the pre trip to learn there is no practice with the pre trip. And the driving if u have experience with driving a semi you will do fine but they do not show you at all how to back or any part of driving so look at you tube and they tell you not to also the guy got upset when I could not back up instead of helping he played on his phone. And last they force u to give them five star reviews before they let u test in their truck. read more

I signed up with this service initially because I had limited funds and they were the most economical. At first, I thought I had made a mistake. However once I started taking the tests I was able to pass them one by one until I had completed all the written tests. They gave me everything I needed to get my Class A CDL. These two stars are given directly to the two instructors that's helped me the most, DP and Helena. Without DP there is no possible way I would've passed my CDL test in Waco. I spent 4 days in Rockwall and the fifth day was test day. Monday thru Thursday I attended pre-trip with DP and got acclimated with the correct language and the trail to help pass. I have to say, DP was the biggest help. It was because of him that I passed, no doubt. Now, other than great pre-trip instruction, the service is what costed this company two more stars. The person I was originally dealing with before my course seemed to have fallen off the face of the planet once I started. Monday and Tuesday I attempted to call, text and leave voicemails regarding my scheduling for the week only to be completely and utterly ignored. In fact, to this day she has still not called back. Do not leave your appointments or scheduling in the hands of CDL test truck. If you have a course or appointment, call and verify....and then call and verify again. Next.....do not expect any special treatment. You will be in these courses with 20 other people a day so you need to come somewhat prepared to give yourself your own instruction. During the pretrip courses all week we had only 1 truck for all 20-30 of us to practice pretrip on. DP was absolutely overwhelmed teaching all of us. That's right. Only 1 instructor for pretrip on 1 truck. Not only that, you don't even get to learn pretrip on the truck you are going to be taking the test in. You don't get to learn in cab, air brake tests or pull tests on the truck you're going to test with. I had to learn all the light switches and other pretrip items the morning of my test. By the way, I was late for my instructor road test drive because the appointment they booked me for had the Waco Texas DPS address set as the "appointment location" (this address is not where the CDL testing takes place). So a 1 hour practice road test turned into a 30 minute "just do this and you'll be fine". Come to this course prepared to work hard for yourself, it is still better than paying for a CDL school by far. The only good thing about this company was the practice online test they have. Those were very effective. Now with the "8- Hour Pre-Trip & Backing Class" That was false advertisement. I paid this company a total of $1000 ($750 for the 8 hour class & truck rental & $250 for 1 hour one on one time). That money was gone to waist. Before i paid this company i called them and asked some questions. For example if they teach someone how to use the gears etc, they told me they did and people that have never drove a truck were passing with flying colors. The day of the class there was about 25 other people who attended the 8 hours class. Turns out they went over the pre-trip very quickly and started setting up all the guys to drive the trucks. Now the guys that knew how to drive the trucks and use the gears were in and out very fast and didnt last more than 2 hours there for the class. Me on the other hand along with a few more guys were just wasting time standing around for hours until it was our turn to drive. During that time they should of had someone else showing us more stuff about the pre-trip inspection instead of wasting time just standing around. When it was finally my turn to drive they just put me in the truck and were telling me what to do over a radio. No one was showing me inside the truck how to use the gears etc. Very bad and nerve wrecking for me so of course i didnt do good. Now when it was time for my 1 hour one on one time that i had paid for they literally just showed me for about 40 minutes and then came up with saying i needed 3 more hours and that it would cost me $600 more for the extra training. To start off they didnt even train me for the full 8 hours i had already paid for. I was just standing around waiting on them and probably got 2 hours of training during that time. This company was in such a hurry trying to get everyone out of training that they are more focused on taking your money instead of training you properly. read more
