I made an appointment 6 months in advance for my 16 year old to take his road test with Rockwall DPS, the appointment was put down for a CDL rather than a Class C... they were unwilling to fix the error. I called All American same day and explained the situation. All American was amazing and understanding and got us in and saved the day. I would definitely recommend them. It was $100.00 but so worth not having my son wait another 4 months, and be let down on his birthday. read more

The school as a whole (I have read derogatory reviews about ALL of their locations) maintains terrible communication practices. They do not respond to voice mails left on their machine nor do they reply to email communications requesting drive time. We have had a terrible time completing the driver education course at this school. I've never used All American Driving school, however I have seen their school pick up drivers skip the left turn lane and turn left, across traffic, from the right hand lane just to save a few minutes. I think any place that has drivers that are willing to do that don't deserve to teach kids how to drive. You are supposed to be setting an example, you should be ashamed of yourselves. read more

DO NOT USE THIS DRIVING SCHOOL!! We paid $400 to have our son attend this school. Classes are constantly cancelled and drive times are completely non-existent. The customer service is terrible. Getting someone to answer the phone is hard enough, and if you leave a voice mail and expect a return call, you can forget about it! We started my son's driving school in February....it is May 5th and he still has 3 more drive times with the next scheduled for June!!!! They say they have to schedule them out a month apart because they say they're too full. They NEVER answer the phone and when you go in its a frantic mess and no one even acknowledges your existence. Save yourself money, headache and frustration and go somewhere else!!!! At this point I'm just hoping he meets the TX deadline!!! Save your money!!! Poorly run driving school. They rarely answer the phone and when they do you can't seem to get a solid answer regarding drive-times or re-scheduling drive-times. Also, more importantly, my son has learned more driving with me (because the parents have to log a LOT more hours with the student) than the driver's instructors. I rarely take the time to leave a review, unless the service was outstanding. My experience with All American Driving school was outstanding - outstandingly bad. It was the worse customer service I have ever received. When my mother and I called to get information and schedule an appointment with the driving school, the secretary did not know what she was talking about. She had no idea what the policies of the school were, how to schedule us in over the phone, or anything we were asking. She requested us to come in so we could ask in person. When we arrived, she acted very cold towards us: no greeting, no smiling, one worded replies. Not only that, she scheduled me in the wrong time slots. Adult drivers are supposed to get 2 hours with the instructor alone per lesson, so we can get our drive time done faster. She scheduled me in with the teenagers, one hour per lesson + another hour in the backseat. She did not explain this to us until we showed up for my first lesson, which started 30 minutes later than scheduled because the staff were too busy laughing and joking around amongst themselves to pay attention to their clients. When I asked them to reschedule me with the adult times, they refused. From then on, since we had already paid the fee upfront, we were left with no choice but to continue my lessons with them. I scheduled 7 hours of drive time. My last 3 were a pain to schedule. After calling the school multiple times, sending them my work schedule, even told them I was willing to take a day off to finish it, they never got back to me. For 3 weeks it was me calling, texting, etc and them saying "ok we will get back to you" or "we will let you know". But, of course, they never got back to me. Until I asked for a refund, they ignored my calls and texts. The first time I asked for a refund, the instructor, Linus, told me to come in Saturday at 9am-11am for 2 hours. When I showed up, conveniently he "forgot" he had a class to teach at 10, so was unable to instruct my second hour with him. What a liar. This is fraud. Afterwards, I kept trying to schedule my final lesson with him, but he kept ignoring my texts and calls, and this man is on his phone all the time! I see him in the car during and after lessons checking his phone, or answering calls. There is no way he "didn't see my text", or "didn't receive my call". He outright ignored his client. Finally, I gave up. I texted him, telling him that I am demanding my money back within the next week. He replied within a minute: "thats fine....", the fastest he's ever replied to me. Fast forward over 2 weeks later, no money and no word from the driving school. I've already completed my driving test and passed, no thanks to them. All of my requests have gone down a black hole. Not only that, they were quite racist towards me too. One of the staff - an older gentleman, white - said "Hi, Lee, drive time today?". I corrected him, letting him know that my name is Linda. He kept on calling me "Lee", as if I didn't just tell him my name is Linda. The way I was treated was just unacceptable. I was a paying customer, therefore deserved to be treated as such. If I pay for a service, I expect to get the service I paid for. I do not deserve to be lied to, ignored, or to experience racism. Don't book with this driving school. They are a mess. They are committing fraud. Save your money and headaches and go with someone else, anyone but them. read more

Go to Safe Start in Rowlett - they will not only teach your child how to drive but will save you many hours of waiting in line to take the road test at DPS. All American does not give the road test. Even if they did, chances are your child would not pass because their training is totally inadequate. I had to spend weeks teaching my granddaughter how to drive AFTER spending $400 at this place. Safe Start is a little further out than what I would have preferred but it's worth the distance! read more

DO NOT USE ALL AMERICAN DRIVING SCHOOL. This place is a SCAM. My teen finished her class in August 2017 and NO road test has been scheduled. I used the Mesquite location and have been told, after called for almost 2 weeks and getting a recorded message, that the instructors have not given them a schedule. How do you as a company hire people that you base your business on their schedule??? AND after over a month how do you not have their schedule. The office manager is rude and not very patient. I have used the website to complain and the website if faulty. I called the other locations and they are also backed up on road times and not willing to give up. This my third child I sent and I am regretting every hard earned dime I spent on them. The instructor yelled at my daughter and made her scared to drive. It's almost impossible to get a drive time and when you talk to the front desk person she gives you attitude. I would call and she would tell me she does not have the drivers schedule yet and to call back and when call back they are booked up. I wish I saved my money and did the parent taught class. Paid top dollar to send my daughter to this "school" in Rockwall. She sat in class for weeks with a "teacher" that rambled on for two hours every night about everything but the material. Talked about problems she was having with her son, told the kids she thinks it's ok for them to drink or smoke pot on the weekends so long as they "dont do the hard stuff", etc. she came out literally knowing no more than she did going in. Please, if you are reading this and are thinking about signing your kid up, don't!!!! This is the worst driving school ever the school room part of it was horrible the teacher taught us almost nothing and half the time she was talking about her private life one day we talked about her son for almost an hour. The drive times where somehow worse though. First of, the drive times where impossible to set up I called them a total of 98 times and they answered about 5 times and they are booked for 2 or 3 months. This location is horrible! My son completed the class portion back in October and still has not has a single drive time. Every time we call, or go up there because they won't answer the phone, we are told they have no times available and will let us know when they do. I have done all of my parent drive time hours and they haven't done a single hour. I feel as though I wasted $400, my son will be 18 in 5 days and can just go and get his license. We live in Rockwall and this is the only driving school in town. I'm driving over to Rowlett to take him to a driving school that is actually open during posted business hours AND answers their phones and returns messages. I've left messages with AADS with no response and made 3 visits to the office during posted business hours only to find the doors locked and nobody there. I was not the only person waiting outside the locked doors for someone to show up. After wasting too much time trying to give this company my business, I decided that if they can't even pretend to be professional by answering phones and showing up to work, that's not the kind of place I want teaching my son how to drive! It's astonishing to me they are still in business as I've heard multiple acquaintances complain about how unprofessional they are. read more

CAUTION: I do not often take the time to review, but please be aware of what is happening at this business. If you value your child's safety and driver's education, DO NOT send them to AADS. We chose this school because of the convenience of shuttle and the ability to utilize their driving school. After they took my $400 it was all down hill. There was no shuttle available and the level of confusion and frustration made it the most inconvenient place I have ever dealt with. The phone never gets answered ans when it does, no one can tell you anything about the driving program. (Even we observed the manager sitting on her personal phone and letting the desk phone roll to v.m. repeatedly for about 35 minutes.) My child, and several others, left the class night after night and told me there is no learning going on in the classroom due to other students behavior and no classroom control by the instructor. Night after night the girls got in the car crying because the instructor would go on and on about her personal, and very inappropriate life experiences. The kids were so behind in lessons they had to hire a new teacher the second week. Then came the drive times, the class is over and we still can't get our first drive time scheduled because, "we have some issues with drivers, yeah its annoying because the parents keep calling about it" said the manager (I'm not even kidding). After multiple attempts at getting help with these concerns, I decided to call the owner, Richard Savage. Unfortunately to this day he has not returned any of the phone calls or emails he has received from me or any of the other concerned parents.
