Great choice! Groupon saves you $5! I searched all over for the least painful yet not expensive way to take defensive driving. Note: They no longer do the audio podcasts, rather you read all the material and then take the quizzes at the end of each section. At first I was bummed but then quickly realized that it would be faster for me to read it, and the information was more technical with statistics and pictures describing the material, so I'm glad they had the text material available. Loved it and finished it painlessly within two days (I could have easily done it in one sitting if I'd had the time). I had to call support a couple times because 1) I accidentally entered the wrong groupon code so I paid full price for the course AND bought the groupon, but the office was super friendly and gave me the full refund within the hour. 2) The very end was a bit confusing and I wasn't sure if I needed to input any information at the end form that popped up. They friendly explained that I didn't and said my certificate would be ready in about two hours! (I paid the $8 extra for email version). He genuinely wants to help you, so don't hesitate to call the office and click 6 to ask them any questions you come across during the course. Very happy I went with them and I would definitely go through them again--but I hope I won't need to ;) read more

I got a ticket for speeding in Plano Texas (1st ticket ever), and I wasn't sure what company to use since there are so many out there. I looked up state-approved courses on the Texas Website: http://www.tdlr.texas.gov/driver/driver.htm. I went with "WDD" and finished the course in under six hours. I received my certification in 3 days, with a letter directing me on the next steps and what to look out for when mailing or delivering my certificate to the court in person. A word to the wise: There is one video in the course, which is a bit difficult to pass. I believe it's video #4. They have a lot of stats and numbers regarding traffic violations, accidents in Texas and USA. There is a lot to remember for the final 3 questions. An actually enjoyable online defensive driving course. I was fairly surprised as I have seen how mundane and boring some could be but this one was actually somewhat humorous. Granted it wasn't laugh out loud funny but their light hearted approach to teaching the facts and knowledge made the time pass much faster. It's especially nice that they offer the clips on iTunes, podcast and YouTube. I was easily able to listen and complete the course on the go. The questions weren't terribly hard and there are only four per quiz with 11 sections (one quiz per section). I would take this driving course again and I would recommend them to friends. read more

The course was as painless as defensive driving can be, as far as I'm concerned. I have taken a similar course at a comedy club before, and while it was slightly entertaining, I learned much more and have found myself applying the knowledge from this course. The fact that the videos were available on youtube, made accessing the course quick and easy. If you listen to the chapters, the at the end questions are very simple. I would not advise trying to skip the videos, however, because the questions will be very difficult. If you take it seriously and really try to learn, this course has a lot of information that will help you become a better driver and safer on the roads. read more

I would actually rate this a 3.50 but it's not an option =) The dialogue was entertaining but because I am a visual learner, I had to listen to some parts twice. After having failed one of the quizzes, I downloaded the Texas Driver Handbook from DMV.org so I could have some textual reference. It would have been helpful to have at least an outline of each chapter/video to go along with the audio. The videos are outdated or at least it seems b/c the quality is poor. read more

What a GREAT experience I had with Wireless Defensive Driving online! YES - I admit, I was forced to have to take it due to a traffic violation, but in the end, I was glad I had this option to A.) dismiss the ticket and B.) get a discount on my insurance. The course was very easy, user friendly and available on my phone. I could log on and off, it was not too boring, and the customer service was unreal! They even upgraded FOR FREE to next day shipping to insure I got my certificate ON TIME since it fell so close to the weekend AND "KYLE" called me to let me know the certificate had been delivered at my doorstep. My only two complaints are relatively minor. As others have said, the audio for the lessons wasn't the highest quality. It sounded like they recorded the actors via teleconference. Additionally, some of the videos at the end of a few of the lessons seemed as old as me and had even harder to understand audio. On the plus side, the staff was very helpful and courteous, even proactively calling me when they suspected that I had made an error on the registration form. I had, and even though they could probably have just processed the form as it was and left me up a creek, they didn't. I appreciated that. They even responded to a technical question I submitted early on a Saturday morning. Ultimately, nobody is taking a defensive driving course for the fun of it. Nevertheless, this was a pretty painless option, and I'd recommend it for anybody who needs to take one. read more

Just finished the series after 2 days. Very convenient that I could stop the audio and return during or after a chore and an errand. There seem to be glitches in the scoring system b/c some of my answers were not indicated as incorrect and I didn't know until my score at the end of each test. Still passed each test, otherwise I would have called customer service. The 8th video was in their words "quirky" and it was a weird animated feature with talking drivers' licenses. The last video felt like a filler to meet the 6 hour requirement as it had a very long list of illegal and legal drugs and their bad interactions with alcohol. Even had a short lesson on brain anatomy and how alcohol can mess up your body. Saved several dollars using a Groupon and shave off another several dollars using a Groupon promo code. read more

When we purchased the class online it asked for credit card number but assured that our card would not be charged. We selected a shipping method and the shipping cost showed as $0 (zero). I got my credit card statement and there was a charge for nearly $40. I called to question the charge and it was for sending the certificate two day delivery (via fedex, which also was not listed on the shipping method details as the form of two day shipping). I contacted FedEx and the cost to deliver two days is less than $20! Not only were we misled about the shipping cost (website order said no charge) but this company charged us more than double the actual cost. I would beware of giving credit card information to this company. read more

Good defensive driving course. I like that they get my driving record for me. They taught me a bit more [than what I had received in the past] and it was not too dry. I recommend keeping an eye out for their Groupon, makes everything perfect for the price. read more

Used the groupon to dismiss a speeding ticket. Easy to download and good customer service. I accidently entered a wrong number and was immediately notified to correct it. Their correspondence is commendable. The actual course was a bit unorthodox. The characters played by the presenters was a bit hokey and frankly distracting to my learning, but with that being said, I did pass the tests. The 2 or 3 videos that were part of the learning, were decent in quality. Overall I would recommend. read more

Defensive driving is dreadful to do no matter but this course made it tolerable. The quizzes were quick and short so that was a plus. Also there was no final test which made it easier. The people talking in the course were funny and kept it entertaining. read more
