We have been taken advantage of by a company that claims to be Christian based that stands for God, family, honesty and Integrity. That itself is the beginning of the scam! We paid half of the cost of our siding and windows in Sep 2025 however, they did not start until March 2026 and I am STILL with all work NOT done and can't seem to get a response back to email or text. They have come out 3 times so far to repair all of the damage done during installation to our "brand new" James Hardie siding along with uninstalling and reinstalling of a living room window that is now worse after the second attempt! We were sold in writing, a lifetime warranty for windows and in fact when speaking with Pella, it is only a limited 20 year warranty. We have repeatedly reached out to management and ownership (Dave) by phone calls, emails and texts struggling to get a reply or answers back to our questions. As of today, we are waiting on shutter's, sliding glass door that was ordered in the wrong size, side door, the replacement of our custom fit screen door that was thrown away in a dumpster and per 3rd party we need windows uninstalled and reinstalled. However that would void my warranty! I was also asked to make final payment before job has even been completed, which goes against my contract and was also advised my account is delinquent and they will seek further legal action! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! I wish I wouldn't have fallen for their lies And read reviews not trusting the Christian sales pitch we received. We were fortunate to find Amerispec through our realtor referral, and because coincidentally this inspector (Garrison) had actually been to this particular house a week before. It worked out well that he had been there and had the other buyer back out so we could ask him anything about what he found and really dig into it. Garrison was quick to get to work, to double check everything and make recommendations of all kinds. While we love the house, we tried to keep an objective mind and waited for any huge red flags. Luckily, despite the age of this house, Garrison gave us a report back that didn't give us any cause for alarm and we're closing later this month. He was very helpful, very thorough, and well priced. Oh and guess what? RIGHT ON TIME! That's big for me, and he was as punctual as he could be. Our roofing contractor/inspector on the other hand showed up two hours late. Our realtor gave us a few recommendations and they had the best Yelp reviews so we went with them. Glad we did! Nate does a nice job talking you through everything in the inspection process, and you can tell he knows about customer service. Sometimes the inspectors can be a little gruff, or maybe too direct. Nate's so personable and honest, it's a refreshing change of pace. They are also very thorough and cover top to bottom. This inspection ran us a bit more than one in the past, but that's because we added chimney and sewer specialists to it, so all in all it worked out to be about average in cost. Apparently they're very responsive as well, which is good because I have a few questions after digging into some details. Assuming the best and rounding up here based on prior communications. I'd recommend them and will with for them again down the road.
