Complaint Date: Original incident occurred sometime in July 2025 This company was contracted by my mom's condominium complex to provide interior and exterior window cleaning services to any of the 288 unit owners who chose to participate and pay for the service. Because the windows had not been cleaned in years, she agreed to have the work done. On the scheduled service date, my mom was not feeling well. She is in her 80s and did not feel comfortable allowing anyone inside my unit that day. Myself and my wife were present at the time. They questioned why the exterior windows were not coming clean and were told by the workers that the windows were "too dirty." This explanation was confusing, as cleaning dirty windows was the reason the company was hired. My mom is generally easy-going and agreed that the company could return at a later date to complete the interior window cleaning when she was feeling better. A portion of the bill was paid, even though the interior windows were never cleaned and the exterior windows were not properly cleaned either. The exterior windows remain just as dirty as they were before the service attempt. We simply seeking fair resolution for services that were paid for but not adequately performed. read more

Worst customer service. The service was way below par and when I called the owner, she did nothing to rectify the situation or send another person out to fix the bad job they did. The windows were still very dirty and their services were just useless. To this day, she keeps harrassing me by emails every week for payment of the horrific service for $350. Save your money! The owner is the MOST unprofessional ,word twisting, name calling, disorganized.... She is waiting for my reviews so she can call me more names and tell more tales... I paid my bill the second I got it... Even ready to overpay because when you have impeccable credit and a business threatens you... you just pay it.... They went off on me for an hour and had no clue who I was when I called back after being disconnected... I simply disputed one line item ( 140 dollars) from a new construction estimate 8 months prior when quote was given to a general service call.. she insisted the extra service was done and then proceeded to call us liars... that it "had to be done". Rather than just listening to the logic that the construction cleaning as done by my builder... . she was circular. nasty, accusatory and and she just got nastier and twisted words over and over .... If I am paying 1k for service... would I really be dodging another 140 (+/-)gotta say plus or minus b.c she goes off if you add the tax number when discussing.... Whoa. We have used this company for several years. Their fee jumped exponentially without warning. The job they do is serviceable. Nothing outstanding. The owner is unpleasant - a bottom line kind of gal. I just hope they treat their help well since they do the heavy lifting. Time to go elsewhere. read more

The owner to give me an estimate right away. Then I was called to schedule appt which was very soon after that . I was able to request a vaccinated crew. They showed up exactly on time, were very nice and worked hard as the dickens. They did a beautiful job for a reasonable price. read more

Had an appointment for 3:30 on a given day. The owner called at 11:30 to say the cleaners were on their way out and will be there by 12:00I couldn't get bk in time and wanted to keep my appointment. She then lied and said my appointment was 2:00. I have the voicemail confirming my 3:30 appointment. I was upset since I made the appointment 2 weeks b4 and called bk and asked if they cd wait a little in front of my house. She was extremely rude and said no. Feel bad b/c I've used them b4 and had some what of a relationship with a guy who we thought was the owner. I really wouldn't waste my time with them again. Wish I had paid more attention to the reviews. It was suggested I have the windows of my home cleaned inside and out before putting it on the market. As it is a vacation home, I was not able to be present when the work took place. The house minder for the property was there and later told me that the work was done late in the day -- it was already getting dark outside - and that the work was sloppy. Because I did not get this information immediately, when I called to inform those at Crystal Clear Window -- I was told I complained too late. I explained in detail the issues but the company would do nothing to make good on their very expensive prices. Very angry and disappointed. I've been a customer of Crystal Clear for 7 years during which time it has provided services for me at two properties. I will no longer use Crystal Clear's services due to a dispute I had with the owner's spouse today regarding the removal of shrink wrap from my outdoor furniture which Crystal Clear installed in the fall. While I paid the invoice for the installation late, Crystal Clear was, indeed, paid in full. Yet, it refused to remove the shrink wrapping due to "non-payment" further claiming that it stopped the removal of wrapping in April. Although the spouse asserted that I was called 4 times to schedule the wrap removal, I have no voice messages nor records of these calls. It's quite disappointing that a regularly-used business would treat its customers with such disdain especially during this difficult period for all of us. Due to the unprofessional and angry response of the owner's spouse, who refused to schedule an appointment for the wrap removal, I will no longer use Crystal Clear's services for anything. read more

We've been using Crystal Clear Window Cleaning in Mattituck for very many years. They're always polite and do an excellent job. They fit me in on short notice, which I appreciated. Cleaners damaged curtains and am still waiting for response. Additionally I strongly suggest you get prices clarified as they were not forth coming with a total amount that would be charged. I was first told that it would not be a problem to come back, to do inside at another time due to covid concerns, When I called to schedule, I was told there would be an additional $125 charge. Two weeks ago team came to clean windows. The job that they did was just ok based on their rating. Two of my screens were damaged severely during the process. I brought it to the attention of the lead cleaner. He took both screens with him and assured they would be repaired . I have called twice to follow up and was told David would contact me. No contact to date. Based on the just satisfactory job that was done with the window cleaning and the lack of response for the damage to the screens I would not recommend Crystal Clear, their reviews are over rated. I should mention that the outside cleaners did a nice job. The two internal cleaners moved slowly, chatted between themselves and their performance was marginal. I had to clean the window sills behind them. Find another company for your window cleaning needs. read more

Do NOT use this company. They came out to my home to do the windows and there were still several prints on the glass. When I POLITELY called to mention this to the owner, she did not offer to rectify the job. Perhaps it's just me, but If you're paying your hard earned money, then I feel like you should have the right to complain. I used Crystal Clear for several years. In June of 2017 an untrained worker damaged 14 screens. After many phone calls 13 were replaced, inexplicably the 14th was lost. Six months of phone calls and comments like "the company will make this right", the screen has not been replaced. I paid my cleaning bill in its entirety in October and now no one is even returning my phone calls. Shame on you. For $57 you could have been the professionals you claim to be. This is the most unprofessional company in a Long Island community that consists of friendly, hardworking people. The cleaning crew is decent but the office staff and the owner are so unprofessional and do not know the definition of customer service. Lisa and the owner are especially rude to their own customers, will not do anything to listen to their customers about questions or complaints about the messages the office staff are providing & the work being provided. Save yourself some grief and don't waste your money here. There are plenty of other friendly, professional window cleaners in the area that would be more than happy to have your business and know that customers should be treated professionally and with respect! read more

Timely. They are rough on the screens and window grates though. May get one or two who speak English well enough to explain what you need. They have young girl too short to reach windows - so she stood on top of my mirrored night tables! Good thing I was there. No step-stools with them. Just be around when they are there. read more

This is weird that people are reviewing this business from all over the place like Westchester County - it must be a chain because I can tell you the Mattituck/North Fork company is great - windows were just like their name - crystal clear. Had to follow the workers around to make sure they were cleaning the windows properly after seeing a few of the windows they cleaned. They said they cleaned the skylights and when I looked the next day it was obvious that they were cleaned. There were fingerprints all over one of the skylights. They left condensation on a few windows that I had to go and fix myself. I stopped payment on the check. Owner was extremely argumentative and nasty when I contacted about the issue and to provide my card info. She was even arguing with me about the condensation on the windows! She said she would talk to the crew and get back to me. Two weeks later she calls me back and is even more rude than before. She accuses me of taking advantage of her because I did not pay for a service that I did not receive! read more

When they finished cleaning my windows I looked at my sunroom and den and said they were not clean. They told me they were permanently stained and couldn't be cleaned. In fact, he insisted they were clean. I went out with a rag and windex and showed them that they were still dirty. They did redo the windows but I would not call them again. read more

The window cleaners arrived at my residence with a weird look, like " we really don't feel like working, can we just hang out?!" When I walked around the house inspecting their work, I noticed their supervisor was busy socializing on the phone. I was shocked by their lack of professionalism, especially given the high prices this company charges. When the crew left, I noticed that some windows were still dirty and I decided to call their office. The manager on duty informed me that a crew will be over at my residence before the end of the day. A month has passed since then, and I haven't heard anything from Crystal Clear. This is an AWFUL, AWFUL COMPANY. I posted a review before which they seem to have removed somehow but Crystal Clear (yes, the one based in Mattituck) sent one worker on his own to clean my windows. He could not manage to clean even one, and ended up taking a big chunk of plaster out of my wall. I sent him away and he agreed he would tell his boss what had happened. The company requested an estimate (wasting even more of my time) but have taken no responsibility for the repairs.
