The man from Kwiatkowski seemed uninterested at best as I tried to explain my project and was extremely short. As I tried to explain what I wanted he would interrupt and say that he can't do anything without looking at the Fireplace, which I understand. Everyone describes things differently. I was just trying to get an idea of what would be involved and the basic scope of work. But, as the conversation continued he became more rude and belligerent. I finally told him the conversation wasn't heading anywhere productive that we should end it without continuing to waste each others time, and I hung up.......1 minute went by and my phone rang. It was the man from Kwiatkowski calling me back to tell me that I am an "asshole" and that "you aren't going to hang up on me" in what sounded like a steroid induced fit of rage. He then told me that he would never do work for me and that I was just calling him to gain information rather then being serious about hiring him to do any work. Then finally he ended it by saying "fuck you, and don't ever call here again" then hung up. During both conversations, I never raised my voice or used any profanity to provoke this kind of reaction from this man. I have owned and operated my business for over 19 years. I built my home 10 years ago and have dealt with vendors and contractors in my business and personally for over 25 years. This is my first complaint of any business, ever! Beware of this business. If this person's behavior is any indication of how they do business, I am amazed that they have amassed enough money to continue to pay for phone service. It was the most unprofessional, unreasonable, and unnecessary exchange with a potential customer that I have ever experienced. Hopefully, this review finds you before you make the mistake of hiring these people. I could just imagine hiring them and something during the job doesn't go exactly right as things most often do during jobs. Is this the type of person you want to deal with? Not me!

Within 24 hours, I had an estimate. No other contractor replied within a week. The only hitch was a small bureaucratic one; once that was resolved he moved swiftly. Again, within 24 hours of the building permit, his crew was on the job. (The only delay was because of heat--his crew had to work half days just to stay alive.) Our home was built in 1958, and it was becoming obvious that the mortar work was deteriorating. Now it loos like we have a new home. I very much recommend him.
