I am not good with installations, so that's why I was looking for someone to do it. I did get several referrals from there, but I ended up going with Edwin Rivera, who is the owner of this company. They are based out of Norfolk and is a family owned and staffed business. The work on my house was completed on May 4, 2023. First things first. I do want to note that in order for the business to be part of the Home Depot Pro Referral Program, they are fully licensed and insured and background checked. My conversation with Edwin started back in April, and he speaks both English and Spanish. It may sound like a long time between the first contact and completion, but the longest part was getting the door shipped by Home Depot. Another reason I went with this company was because I also needed to have some drywall repairs too. He was able to quote me one reasonable price to do both after visiting for a consultation. Communication was consistent as well, which I don't always get from some contractors. After I got all the parts needed for the shower door install, I let him know it was all here now and scheduled to have it installed on May 4th at 2 pm. On the day of the install, Edwin and his crew were on time and ready to go. I showed him where all of the parts were for the shower door. He knew already where the drywall repairs would be taken care of. The overall process would take about 3 hours, which is quite reasonable considering how much was being done. They cleaned up any messes that were made during the drywall repair and shower door install. There was genuine care and concern to make sure everything was done correctly and exactly as I had asked for. Overall, this was an excellent experience with Edwin and his crew. Even though I found him through Home Depot, I have his information now so that I can contact him directly if and when I have any future construction type work requests, as they actually do many different construction projects than just drywall and installations. If you are looking for someone to come out and take care of some home construction issues or some type of install, look no further than Edwin Rivera and his team.

Business owner Jessie blocked my phone number.  Improper install of vinyl siding: vinyl blocks not…read moreweathproofed or sealed especially around electical panels, jchannel cut short and incorrect, used caulck to cover errors, vinyl siding is loose in areas not secure to Jchannel.  Failure to secure will  allow critters in, gutters need to be repitched, metal wrap at roof damaged but owner did not replace as promised, instead caulck to close gap, soffit not nailed, came loose and fell out, not confident sheath was inspected of damage before new vinyl installed per contractual agreement, installers covered dryer vent with vinyl, had to call back and Jeasie said there was no hole there, finally came back out, but left vinyl loose at base. Jessie was confrontational and blocked phone when I addressed my concerns.  This is my home I have lived in for 30 years and I was looking forward to its new look, but it hasnt been a pleasant experience especially by the cost incurred and more monies to fix the poor install.  In addition, based on the vinyl work, I will have to pay for a roof inspector.  Since I am blocked from contacting owner, I have no coverage in the event of leaks which contract states is good for ten years. Flashing at chimney is of concern too.
