I was raised in Topeka and attended KU but haven't been here in over 30 years. I was returning back to California and needed breakfast on my way to the airport. I saw Smoothie King and thought perfect! I can't remember what kind it was but it was delicious. I also tried one of their new chicken Panini's with pesto it was absolutely delicious. Totally enjoyed it. I am now back in Lawrence and I have been to smoothie King twice. I tried the flatbread chicken Panini again and a strawberry kiwi breeze. I added some things along with some enhancers smoothie was delicious. I didn't like the Panini this time. I think it was because it wasn't evenly distributed. There was too much meat and cheese in one area and not in the other, so it was wet and clumpy. Today I went back for another smoothie and took my granddaughter we enjoyed them immensely. Both times I was greeted at the door and allowed to take my time perusing the menu. The first couple of times I was even given suggestions based on what my likes were. They are a little pricey, but pretty much everybody is now. I forgot pics this time.

Other than that a few fruit seeds and no chocolate taste to the shake at all. Do not go to this location and go anywhere else. I'm unsure how this place stays in business.....
