We went to Cambria recently and wandered into the neighboring town of Cayucos, CA. What a sweet little sun baked beach spot! While we were wandering down Ocean Ave, we were attracted by the crazy artistic designs in one store window and wondered what awaited inside. Much to our surprise, we saw two very industrious guys, (turns out they're partners), in a huge sunny room, working with fabrics, machines, and art designs. This amazing business, custom makes artistic tee-shirts, while you wait. The owners have only original art, so no corporate brand logos here. It's all home grown talent, straight up, vertically integrated. You pick a design you like from the wall, pick the tee shirt color, size, and style you want, and the design is pressed by an enormous machine onto your shirt. So you are basically in an art studio, and you get to leave wearing the art. Walk around the corner, and you're on the beach in your cool new digs. Omg. These guys have managed to combine sun, surf, sand, art, clothing, and beach fashion, in one easy commercial transaction. Credit cards accepted man. And...the shirt fabric is soft soft. My husband picked a wild mermaid pyschelic skull design, which freaks me out a little, but that fabric is so soft...it's hugs all day, honey. read more

Super cool little spot. Stumbled across it yesterday after having coffee at Luna with my parents. I live in Los Osos and I guess I just never pay too much attention to the shopping around here. Since my parents were visiting we were doing some shopping and saw this place and decided to take a look inside. What an awesome little shop! Local art and really cool stuff! Great place to pick up some great quality tees, tanks and hats with cool, fun designs at decent prices. Learned about CC from our waiter at Schooner's next door. Picked up a couple of Schooner's and he said that if we wanted a different color or size, go to CC and they can make one for you. It was closed by the time we were done but we went back the next day to check it out. I picked up a super cool and soft tank with an anchor and mermaid on it from the clearance rack outside and bought my daughter a cute tee and trucker snap back hat. The quality of the printing and shirt quality is very good and the prices are great for the quality. I paid about 38 dollars for three items. Can't wait to see what's new the next time I visit. Love going into this shop and Ruddells every trip to Cayucos. They got some pretty dope art but they really stand out on their designs and printing. It's the place to go for trucker hats, shirts, tanks, hoodies, and coozies. They can print whatever you want on the spot which takes about 5 minutes. Custom work is possible too. Can't leave this place without grabbing a shirt! read more

Cc is the best! Creative and cool. Anthony finds some of the most unique art on the Central Coast. Not sure how, but all the cool and talented young artists and craftsmen (and some of the old dogs too) he finds and hosts a place for their art. The t-shirts are quick and quality. these guys are AHHHHHMAZING!! After being super frustrated with having my shirts, sweatshirts and hats at my old screen printer for two weeks...I thought I would try these guys out...Brought 33 pieces to them at 4PM on a Wednesday...ALL pieces were completed and ready for pick up by 2PM the following day...Wish I would have tried them out sooner!!! I have been back in a few times to get a piece or two printed and you don't get the usual attitude you would get from screen printers for only wanting a piece or two done at a time. These guys are wonderful, so happy I tried them out and ever happier to be supporting my hometown! :) read more
