The deal is, the boots themselves were in great shape, but the soles and heels were crap. Total crap. I asked to have them re-heeled, and he kinda laughed at me, then asked me to put down a $10 deposit to make sure that I would come back and get them, I guess. Not that it was an issue, obviously I love the boots, or I wouldn't have brought them in, right? So, he says he is swamped and they would be ready in like 10 days. I call back on 10 days...oh, not ready, he says... ok so I wait a while longer, and I believe I finally got them back after a month or so. Really a pretty long wait for re-heeling. But, when I did get them back, they looked FANTASTIC! He polished them up and they looked better than new. The finished product was perfect. I would give 1 star for service/time taken to finish and 5 stars for the actual finished product. He did a beautiful job, but don't know if I would go back....don't want to wait a month for the job to get done.

I took them to Tulare shoe repair and I knew immediately when I walked in the door they were gonna make my shoes new again. The shop is old school, which is the exact kind of shoe repair I wanted. behind the counter, Selena was so sweet and knew right away when she looked at my shoes in the original box that they were special to me. I figured I'd hear from them within the week, but got a call that same afternoon that my shoes were ready. I couldn't believe how quickly they were done. They put new heels on both re-glued my leather bottoms and not one bit of glue was visible on the outside. They absolutely made them like new. Just remember when you go they only take cash. It's a bit of a drive for me from my home, but if I have any more shoes that need repair I'm going to Tulare shoe repair.
