I have come by twice this month to get my shoes fixed. They were really great at communicating when it would be ready. I wanted new soles for my boots and they look brand new. I had them for twenty years! Then my heels were starting to pull away from the leather to the sole of the shoe and they were able to secure that too. My other pair of heels need some paint touch up and some glue to the leather to the shoe and it looked brand new too. Thank you for breathing new life into my shoes! read more

Just dropped off a few things. Out the gate, these guys are professionals, great customer service and options. Looking forward to pick up.

I brought my vintage Chanel bag to Georgio's Leather because it needed some TLC, and they did not disappoint! They took excellent care of it and brought it back to looking its absolute best. They were professional, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. I highly, highly recommend Georgio's Leather! read more

Great customer service ! Fast care. Really nice people , definitely recommend for your leather needs

Quite simply, they offer old work helpfulness, talent, kindness and true artisan skills. I had a problem with some luggage that I'd run all over town trying to get fixed. Tailors, shoe repair etc. none were even the least bit helpful. As a last resort I walked into this beautiful workshop and my problem became their problem and they fixed my daughters overnighter quickly and affordably. read more

Pretty good 2nd generation cobbler. Brought him my boots to shine and belts that were too big. Did a great job

I took a handbag to this establishment for repairs in December, 2023. I would drop by occasionally to check on the progress. There was no progress except for detaching a handle of the bag. I finally went there today, September 17,2025 to pick it up. I'd rather toss it in the trash than leave it for another day. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

I've been to Georgio's a few times and have always had a great experience. Arsen is the best as far as I'm concerned!

Georgio consistently provides high quality services for extremely reasonable prices. I highly recommend getting something custom made, as it will literally last a lifetime. Once you go here, you won't want to try anywhere else. read more

First time customer of Georgio's and found the overall experience to be pretty solid. I needed a complete dress shoe resole on one pair of shoes and a dye job on another one of my blue suede shoes. The customer services was great and they were very efficient in evaluating and giving a quote. Quick turnaround for the work that needed to be done. When I picked the shoes up I was quite happy with how they looked. Only problem was the first day I wore my resoled shoe I noticed a bit of extra stitching coming out on the sole. So, I took them back and the shoe was quickly fixed (less than 5 minutes) - no problem. They even gave the shoe a bit more shine. This is great customer service. I really like this place and will be returning. Will likely update this review to 5 stars following next visit. read more

I've tried so hard to give Georgios my business since late August this year and there's been no follow up on their part on the knife holsters I placed an order for. Is my money not green enough? Christmas is coming around the corner and I can only anticipate the next time I call they'll say it's still in the queue but backed up by the holidays even tho I ordered August 23rd. I'm very bummed because their work looks amazing read more

I called and needed some boots altered. I had needed the boots for an upcoming event which was in 3 days and landed on a Monday. They unfortunately are closed Mondays but they kindly gave me an estimated quote for an expedited service for the boots to be done the day of! My boots are amazing and they fit perfect! Highly recommend for anyone needing leather tending services. read more

The strap detached from a crossbody bag. I took it to Georgio's. They presented two options for repair. The simpler, less expensive option was to sew the strap from the outside through the inside lining. The more extensive and expensive option involved opening up the lining, sewing the strap onto the leather only, then closing up the lining over the stitching. As I don't mind if the stitching shows on the inside of the bag, I went with the simpler and less costly option, which was quite affordable. When I picked up the purse I couldn't believe the quality of workmanship. You can hardly see the stitching on the lining. I appreciate that I was giving the choice. Even though I decided on the less costly option, the repair person still took the time and effort to do quality work. read more

I originally found Georgio's when looking for a place to resole some shoes. I always tend to wear through the sole of my shoes before the shoe itself is worn out so I wanted to talk to someone about the best path forward for some quality long lasting shoes. The answer for me was to have a pair of bespoke shoes made. The shoes came out fantastic! Very high level of craftsmanship and perfectly shaped to my feet, these shoes will last an extremely long time. Any time I wear through the soles I can bring the shoes in and have them resoled and refurbished by same person that made the shoes for me. He also has a custom line of leather goods made in Italy so my wife loves going in there because she usually ends up with a new purse or new pair of shoes every time we stop by. read more

There's a reason this establishment is so highly rated. Not only is the customer service excellent, the shop so cool it belongs in San Francisco, and the ambiance retro hipster chic, but they back all that up with miraculously flawless repairs. I took in a suede Saint Laurent Eddie Serpent Bag that I thought I'd ruined twice. Yes, twice. The first due to oily food stains and the second thanks to an attempt to clean said food stains. I thought the purse was ruined and I'd have to live with those oily blemishes forever staring me down. But lo and behold, all the purse needed was some tender loving care (plus some magic) to make it look brand new again. Thanks, Georgio's! read more

I used to come see George in his shop years ago to fix my many worn out heels, sandals and boots. I always loved that he did such a great job and that my shoes looked brand new when I picked them up. He was a very sweet man and I remember him telling me, "You have nice shoes". What a compliment! :) I heard he passed years ago and that his son Arsen took over. My belated condolences to Alex and Arsen and the rest of the family. I just sent a friend over to see Georio's and thought WOW, when I checked out the website! You've done your daddy proud Arsen! I'll be back to Georgio's soon! read more

when i went into this shoe repair shop i felt transported to another time because of the ambiance. the music they had playing in background was vintage jazz & went so well with their aesthetics. they have a whole leather goods shop when you enter. so much eye candy! i spent a good amount of time browsing around before & after i requested to have a vintage handbag i bought at an antique store, cleaned & conditioned. all of the items they carry are handmade either in the usa or italy. they have a selection of leather goods which are unique to their brand with many colors & styles. their products remind me very much of go forth goods & saddleback leather company, both made in usa - except most of georgio's hardware & interior material of bags & most their small leather goods aren't as substantial to justify some of the prices. they have a website which i perused when i got home to find out more about their brand. their website isn't easy to navigate to find all the things, but you can find enough information there to learn about their brand origins, their leather making process and some of what they offer. i noticed they didn't feature a lot of products on website that i'd seen inside their shop/shoe repair location. the handbag i came in here to have cleaned was a made in usa vintage find at an antique store. the bag itself was in great shape asides from the leather exterior & brass being a bit dry/dull. the interior of bag though was another story. it was very dirty. like someone spilled maple syrup inside & the side pockets were very sticky. being that it was a vintage handbag, i was afraid to clean it myself so took it here. i read that georgio's can clean & fix up interiors & exteriors of handbags. when i brought bag in, i showed the repair man the interior & exterior, let him know it was an antique find & asked if he can clean it & he said "yes he can fix that." i was elated! he gave me a ticket & said to pick up in 1 week & the charge was $75.00. the bag's measurements are 10" x 7" x 5". i came in 1 week later & the (outside) of bag looked great except upon closer inspection when i got home, the bottom outside corners of bag where it turns in was still dusty. then i opened up the inside of bag & they did not work on it. sticky maple syrup looking thing was still inside like they didn't bother to look inside. at all. i politely asked how about the interior & what could i do about it? (but honestly i was assuming that it is a given that when you take the bag in for cleaning, they would check interior & exterior - especially since they had the bag for a whole week. that part of it was very disappointing. he then said, "oh well we can work on that & just come back to pick it up on wednesday." so, 5 more days. that's fine. he gave me the ticket & in my disappointment i tucked the ticket away not looking at it until i got home. i honestly thought, 'what in the...they had the bag for a whole week & didn't bother looking inside?? & also i mentioned the inside & opened it up to show the same guy & it still was missed???'. i just DO NOT GET IT. then when i got home i was shocked to see he tacked on an additional $25.00 for a total of $100.00 & didn't even say a thing when he changed the price of the ticket & handed it to me. i thought he was just changing the "pick-up date". i would've given 4 stars but you'd think having the bag for 7 days & a quiet increase of $25 totaling $100.00 to pick up in another week, they would've cleaned both interior & exterior - but even more than that - i DID unzip & show the interior when i first came in. i could have conditioned the exterior of the bag with apple leather cleaner or another brand leather cleaner/conditioner at home bc there was no issue really with the exterior asides from leather being dusty, dry & dull. but i didn't want to risk damaging interior & definitely didn't want to place my items inside the bag in condition it was in. triple check & make sure the price they charge you is for what you're expecting & maybe call ahead to make sure they detailed everything before wasting gas trying to pick up your item 2x. also double check ticket price for unannounced add on fees. 3.9/5 stars. read more

Total resole on a pair of dress boots (sorta kinda a chukka). Well done, one week, and very personable customer service. Even threw in a new pair of laces for me at no extra charge! That was a very pleasant surprise. After picking up my shoes, I returned to my vehicle prepared to leave, but found the battery dead. Thankfully, the owner happened to have a quickstart battery charger/jumper in his car. He went above and beyond by allowing me to borrow this and get my car up and running. What a guy! Showroom is well stocked, beautifully presented, and just a super classy shop in every way. Go check out Georgio's--I know I'll be doing more business there for years to come. read more

Was referred here by another trusted shoe repair shop for handbag repair. Needed some leather straps repaired. Both bags I brought in were returned to me damaged. There were nicks in the leather that absolutely were not there when I brought them in. Spots of glue on the surface of the bags, and very sloppy seams in the repair area. So disappointed and a waste of money as the bags will not last me much longer due to the shoddy workmanship. I inquired about having a pair of shoes re-soled and was quoted a price of $100. No thanks. Finally, when I went to pick up my bags the staff member assisting me gave me a really hard time about not having two separate claim tickets. I told them repeatedly that I only ever received one. It was clear they doubted me and thought I was lying but when my second bag was finally located, they confirmed that the claim ticket had been left in the bag, and in fact had never been given to me, just as I said. Will not return. read more

I took my new Docs to Georgio's for a bit of a stretch. The break in time for these boots is usually pretty substantial and I wanted to speed it up a little bit. I also wanted to double the length of the laces, because the ones that come with the boots are never long enough to wrap around the top of the boot. They stretched the boots so that they are much more comfortable and they sewed two laces together to make one big one that gives me more than enough length to wrap around the ankle. All for $25. The work is guaranteed and the staff could not be nicer. Anytime I need anything shoe related I will be going here. Thank you! read more

I have a couple of leather handbags that needed cleaning. I searched here on Yelp and Georgio's came up. He replied to my Request a Quote message really quickly and said it'd probably about $40-60 per bag. Both bags are black grained leather, and the first one also had a bunch of sunscreen worked into the crevices because I stupidly put the bag on my lap at a ball game right after applying it. I'd tried cleaning it off but some areas just never got back to black and I didn't want to mess it up by trying to scrub at the grain. I brought them in succession because I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay for both right away. For cleanings, they take a look, give you an estimate, book it into their diary and give you a ticket. Each time they quoted me a week, though it ended up taking a day or two longer. If the store is a long way from you, I'd recommend calling just to check if your item is ready before you pick it up because I ended up making extra visits. Both bags turned out just about good as new, and refinished so they look nice and shiny. I think it's worth $40 to get them back in better condition - I've left it too long with other leather goods before and just ended up wanting to replace them instead. The store itself is in the Palmdon lot next to Bella Pasta, Cracked Pepper, et al. They also do shoe repair, cobbler services, and they sell lots of leather goods that would make great gifts. I hadn't noticed the store tucked in there before. Friendly, quality service, I recommend them. read more

I found myself in uncharted territory the other day. The heel on my cognac shoes started coming off. Do I buy some new ones, or get the heel fixed. Within the same week, the heel starts coming off on my black shoes! Now I'm looking at $60 minimum to replace both pairs. Forgot that! So I had to set about finding a cobbler to um.....cobble my shoes. I really didn't know where to go. I mean, they're all the same right? Well it was only by chance that I found Sierra as I was leaving Hobby Lobby. Ran in real quick, asked a few questions. The hours were what worked for me. I could stop by on the way home. On the drop off visit, I got beat inside by a couple needing a belt altered. So I looked around, and discovered an article involving my old elementary school. Turns out the owner has been mending shoes of kids for free after discovering a teacher was using her own money to get her students shoes fixed. That takes a big heart. My experience growing up on the west side, I knew I was poor. But even on welfare, I never went without. My mom made sure of that. Some children aren't so lucky. Thank you to the owner of Sierra Shoe for giving back to the community. Back to my shoes. Dropped off on Saturday, $10 to re-glue the heel back on. Ready on Tuesday. Way cheaper than buying new ones. Almost 2 weeks later, cause I forgot, I retrieve. That's the other thing, they don't hassle you about leaving your belongings too long, or charge a storage fee. Whenever you come back is fine with them. They'll start calling clients back when they start running out of room. Besides that, whenever you can come back is fine. Real laid back. So now I know where to come back in the future Imabigdeal@yelp.com read more
