Have a pair of New Balance Velo softball cleats where several of the eyelets had almost worn through (subpar design by NB). The shop owner installed metal eyelet 'reinforcements' to prevent the lace from wearing through at these locations. We'll easily get another season out of these cleats thanks to this business! Maybe best of all was he did this while I waited so we could make it to practice later the same day. read more

I took a pair of Doc Marten boots in to have the inner lining looked at. Over years of wearing them the inner lining was ripping out every time I took the boots off. When I explained what was happening, Irfan said he could replace the ripped liner with a leather liner. I was very happy to hear this because I love these boots. The price he quoted was extremely reasonable for what he was going to do. I picked them up yesterday and they look amazing. He also cleaned and polished the boots for me and they looked great! I would highly recommend this shop. Friendly fast service and great craftsmanship! read more

I've been looking for decent cobblers in my area for a while now, and I finally mustered the courage to take in a pair of my thursday boots for some better soles. I took the pair to him on a wednesday and got them that same friday. He is super friendly and professional. He can be blunt and straight to the point so do be aware of that. He did a fantastic job and I have only the most minimal complaints after super close inspection. I do plan on going to him to resole a pair of Ariat's and a pair of Iron Rangers. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone with GYW Boots/shoes, and want a straightforward service. Brought in a vibram sole that I bought. He put it on very well and the toe caps aren't flush, but thats ok given the odd sole I brought to him. These complaints are realistically minimal and given the price, he did phenomenal work. read more

Dropped off boots for a resole on Tuesday and they were ready by Friday as promised. Owner was direct and to the point which I appreciate from a business. For me what is most important is being honest and direct about whether they can or can't do the job and provide upfront pricing. Some say that the owner is rude, that was not my experience, but I also didn't expect to receive the mostly B.S. "friendly" customer service experience most consumers are used to receiving from the mega corps now a days. read more

My zipper got stuck on my UGG type boot. The owner said it would cost $25 to replace the zipper. I had to pay cash upfront. When I drove away he ran after my car saying to come inside. I went back in my zipper was unstuck. I thanked him and said he could keep five dollars for his trouble, and he owed me back my 20. He refused. I said that is just not right and unfair! He wouldn't budge. I walked away very mad. I will never go back to this repair shop again. read more

Took a couple of my favorite dress shoes in to be repaired. I wasn't sure if they were repairable with all of the damage to the sole and worn down rubber, but he did a great job. They look and feel good as new. read more

Honest, reliable and reasonable. He is fast, reliable and restored 2 Tory Birch black leather boots to their original glory. I am very happy with his work. I took my boots in at 2pm and they were done by noon the following day. New heels and restoration plus polishing were $22.50 a pair. And yes, he is a leather-snob and feels that "pleather" isn't worth repairing which is understandable since he is only being honest by letting you know that cost to repair the item exceeds the value of the item. I took all of his comments in stride and enjoyed my interactions with him. read more

I brought in a boot for repair, and the older chubby man that waited on me was extremely RUDE as he snapped at me that he did not have the right part for my boot. Will never be back even though this store is closest to my home. read more

The bottom of my boot fell off and he was able to fix it! Friendly. Very fast. Good pricing! 10/10 recommend.

I have been to this shop twice during normal business hours and it was closed both times.

Great customer service! I brought in a pretty torn up pair of my favorite Ariats, one of which lost the heel pad in the middle of spreading 8 tons of gravel so needless to say the heel itself was also in terrible shape! Well they came out looking better than new! read more

Excellent, won't take my boots anywhere else. Has repaired our family cowboy boots for years.

Off the recommendation of a friend, I took some sandals that needed new elastic at the buckle. I was so pleased with the quality of work, and speed of repair that I took other shoes for heel and sole repair. I pass on my recommendation to anyone. read more

This man does excellent work. I brought a pair of dressy boots in to have the calf size reduced. He looked at the boots carefully and had me try them on to see how he wanted to approach the job. He decided to take them in in the front, instead of the back. He pointed out that he wouldn't be able to take them in below a certain point. He also warned me that because the inside of the boots weren't made of the best material, they might not look so good after the job. But the boots are beautiful, inside and out! You can't tell anything was done to them. He also stretched out the calves to enhance the shapeliness of the boot. I've heard that boots often don't look good after they've been taken in, but these look great! read more

I have NEVER been treated as rudely by a business owner as I was by this man. I indicated that the boots I was bringing in were not expensive and then proceeded to tell him what I needed him to do. He handed them back to me and said he didn't work on anything but real leather and that I should never tell a repairman that my shoes were not expensive. That's fine, but then I asked him if he knew of anyone else that might do the work and he said no one would but was really oddly rude considering the situation. All this was in front of another customer. I turned to this other customer and said "Did I say something to make him mad?" Then the owner told me not to talk to that person, talk to him! Then he started mumbling again about not working on cheap items and I finally picked my jaw up off the floor and walked up completely stunned about the encounter! Very weird and still not sure what that was all about???? read more
