Was not happy after leaving the Temple store. No one would help me locate a certain shoe due to the fact they were all in the wrong spots. Then trying to get a certain pair of pants. Almost all the sales associates were either on their phones or huddled up talking to each other. Management needs to have a long talk with his workers about work ethics and their cell phones. I took my son to get his first pair of cowboy boots. They had a great selection of boots and sizes. Especially since my son wears a size 13. The sales associate Brakston, I think that was his name, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Great service from everyone. Will shop there again. read more

Went to buy a new pair of work boots found a pair they had a tag that said 219.00 got to the counter they came up 244.00 they called the manager over and he said they where 244.00 and he was not going to give me that big of a discount and walked awa. read more

I knew Mr. Cavender's from Oklahoma that originally founded the Cavender's boot city chain. I even used to shop at this particular Cavender's, but this time is probably the worst experience I've ever had! I came in, there was one greeting is a pass by the register, so I know they knew I was here, and I spent the next 30 to 45 minutes back in the boot sector trying to find one at one. 1. Apparently, most of what they sell now is these Australian dingo boots styled cowboy boots, with the square toe! I couldn't find any traditional cowboy boots with the J6 toe styling that has been around since, oh I don't know, since our nation was founded!!! Then you take scissor cut the end off the boots, they now be cheaper! Not so!! But then I wouldn't know... Because I didn't buy anything here today! 2. I waited almost a half an hour to have someone come back and help me find the boots. I was looking for a pair of cowboy looking, western style, traditional work boots. I did not want some newfangled flat towed, city slicker style square toe boot. I had a hard time finding the ones I did luck in the boxes below, and after about 45 minutes decided nobody was going to even bother lift a finger to come and see if I wanted some help. Oh when I told him when I was leaving what happened, then they were ready to get off their butt from the counter and come back there and help. But it was too late... Had no patience left. This will be the last time did I ever shop at this particular Cavender's boot city!!! read more

This is definitely the place to come for all your cowboy paraphernalia. They have clothes, boots, belts, hats and etc for the whole family. They is a wide variety of cowboy boots for men and women. I found a few boots I would not mind buying in the future for less than $200. I would definitely recommend coming here if your looking for this type of clothing and accessories. read more

This location is a great stop if your looking for western wear. The boots are a little pricy but on average a good pear of boots will last you a few years so it's not really all that expensive. The sales people are also very friendly and willing to help you find what you are looking for. Also they sale some other things for the house like decorations and candles that makes it an easy stop for those family members your not really shore what to get for Christmas lol. All in all id say this place is worth the visit and get you a few wardrobes. read more

First time here and I am disappointed. We were not greeted at the front door. I had a question about a sales price and was directed to the cashier to get a price check. I waited a little bit before getting someone to help me. When did receive help she was not friendly and I got the impression my price check annoyed her. I won't be back to this location. read more

I purchased a pair of Boots for my 4 year old Grandson, from Cavenders. They didn't even last 3 months, had a hole on the bottom of the boot. Tried to exchange at the store, was told by Manager they would not exchange due to wear and condition. Keep in mind, this is a 4 year old wearing these boots. As far as merchandise they have a decent selection, but if you want customer service forget it. There was hardly anyone in the store when my husband and I walked in and three employees at the counter. Not a one of them greeted us or even bothered to acknowledge us. Then we were looking for a pair of shoes in the men's section and the shoes were so mixed up it took us 10 to 15 minutes to find the right style and size. Not once did anyone come over and ask if we needed help. My husband started trying on shoes and still no help was offered. I went to the women's Twisted X shoe section and they were so mixed up I quit trying to find the style and size I was looking for. When we went to the counter to pay for my husband's shoes there was not an employee in sight and then after waiting about 5 minutes all three of them walked out of the back.
