I am writing to share a concerning experience with this dealership's service department, specifically under the management of Grant. Unfortunately, the service we received did not align with what was clearly communicated and agreed upon, resulting in both frustration and a lack of trust.
My wife initially contacted the service department to schedule a transmission service, including both fluid exchange and filter replacement. She was quoted $399 (before tax) for the complete service. This was confirmed multiple times--both during the initial call and again in a follow-up call to ensure the filter was included. We also received an email confirmation referencing a "Transmission Fluid Exchange," and based on repeated verbal confirmations, we proceeded with confidence that the service would include both components.
We chose this dealership based on its positive reviews, competitive pricing, and stated support for the military veteran community. As an Army veteran, I felt confident entrusting them with our business.
On the day of the appointment, I dropped off the vehicle and later returned to pick it up, only to be informed that the filter had not been replaced--only the fluid had been serviced. Although I raised this concern at the time, I paid the full amount due to needing the vehicle immediately.
The following day, the service manager, Grant, confirmed that the recorded calls verified my wife had been told--on more than one occasion--that the filter was included. However, despite acknowledging that incorrect information had been provided, he declined to honor the originally agreed-upon service. Instead, I was offered the option to have the filter replaced for an additional charge of $204.
I explained that a fair resolution would be to honor the original agreement without additional cost, particularly given that the misinformation originated from their own system. This request was declined. I then requested a refund for the incomplete service, as only part of the agreed work had been performed. This request was also denied. The final offer presented was a reduced additional charge, which I again found unacceptable.
I was provided contact information for a supervisor, Kaycee, but have not received a response despite multiple attempts to follow up.
This experience reflects a serious breakdown in communication and accountability. I encourage others to exercise caution and to obtain clear, written confirmation of all service details before proceeding, as the practices we encountered were inconsistent with what was promised. read more
