The staff is super knowledgable and you can tell they are passionate about their work. They have seated tastings. I have always done my tastings inside their tasting room, I am not sure it works outside. My girlfriend wanted to try some of their sparklings. After hearing in detail the explanation on what to expect with all 5 of the options, she decided she wanted to try them all. They were very accommodating with this since they usually only do a tasting of 3. Throughout our tasting the lady kept checking on us, asking if we had any questions or if we needed anything else. Some Spice Girls conversations were had and we left very happy with some bottles of French style sparklings.

I had stopped by Dillon's, and asked if…read morethey recommended any local wineries and they advised me to check out this place for good quality wines at a decent price (most bottles range from $18-35). I was so happy to discover this place! The grounds are beautifully kept with a nice garden, the vineyard, a historic house (where there is a gorgeous tasting room and boutique -- a very 'French country' vibe), and a lovely shaded patio. There is a lot of space to spread out and relax. Wine tasting is $5 (for 3 samples) or $10 (for 3 samples + cheese board). Everyone seemed to be going for the latter, which included fresh baguette with herbes de provence olive oil, a sheep's milk cheddar and a gruyere cheese. Definitely worth it! They give you a list of their wines to choose from, as well as a sheet where you can take notes. Definitely appreciated. The young woman who served us was lovely. Very warm, friendly and able to provide a lot of descriptions about the wines. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcome and this is a place to relax and take your time enjoying the different wines. They do a couple sparkling wines which were quite refreshing, as well as a really unique Marsanne - super light and great for summer. I will definitely return when I'm passing through the area. This has been one of my favourite wine tasting experiences in Ontario (comparing to NOTL and PEC).

The patio area is very clean and well-organized, with a relaxed vibe perfect for a casual outing. Unfortunately, the kitchen wasn't able to accommodate my wife's allergy, due to their small kitchen and risk of cross-contamination with other foods, which was disappointing, so we stuck to drinks only. I had the Cherry Cider, which was crisp and refreshing, while my wife ordered a wine flight that she really enjoyed. I tried the fruity and granola parfait, and I'd definitely recommend it. We also spent some time playing corn-hole near the patio, which was a fun touch and added to the laid-back atmosphere. There's plenty of parking along the side and back of the property, and overall, the operation seems well run. While this visit didn't quite go as planned, we may return for a drink-only visit in the future.

It was a little bit far from the other vineyards and there was no ice wine but they have a large menu of reds and whites available for tasting, as well as perhaps one or two rose wines. The pass allows each person to sample three wines of their choosing. We came here on a quiet Sunday afternoon in early January and between the four of us, managed to sample most of the wine menu. My husband was particularly fond of the "Steel Post" white wine, which is surprising, as he is typically a red white drinker, partial to oaky French wines. The grounds are simple, but rustically beautiful. They have plenty of picnic tables for sitting outside in the summer. The parking lot is gravel and mud so be prepared in the bad weather; our shoes got pretty messy just during the short walk from the car to the winery entrance. Note: for parents with kids, they do have a small table with coloring books and picture books. They do not have juices available for kids to drink (Peller Estates and Trius both do have grapes juices for children, or perhaps your designated driver, to drink)
