I rarely take the time to write reviews. Shout out to Lis. She is an awesome employee & went above and beyond to fix my order. Her bright cheery attitude and realness and willingness to help made my whole day. Five star service. I ate at Cava like three times a week. Love the fresh veggies & harissa honey chicken.

Honestly the pool in Huntsville is extremely small for grab and go food that's good. This place is HIT or a MISS. When it's good, it's GREAT. The guy who is a manager here ALWAYS has an attitude, not sure why but he's often in the back on the computer so that's great he doesn't have to interact with customers all the time. Be sure to check your side Hummus portions before leaving. It's very often that I'll order a side of hummus and I'll get the tiny container instead of the $3.99 container. The ladies are really sweet and know how to make the strawberry citrus so well, it's the best! I notice if I come on the weekdays after work hours, the portions are great but I'm not sure why on the weekends the portions are very skimpy. If you come pretty often, you'll get the hang of when the best time to go is; unfortunate that you have to do that when you're spending your hard earned money.

CAVA never misses! My bowl was fresh and full of flavor. The staff was really nice and the restaurant was clean. Perfect spot for a quick but healthy meal.

Full of onions that I didn't ask for.

This is the second day in a row that I've been delivered an incorrect order. Today, my order was supposed to NOT contain onions or feta (picture attached) it contains both, I asked for double meat to include full steak and chicken (chicken is missing see photos), also the dressing is not what I selected. Yesterday, you forgot my two additional sides. How do you mess this up, you literally go down the list of things I selected.

Went there for my friends birthday. She had never been before. I love Cava however this experience was underwhelming. Firstly the people on the line acted like we were bothering them. Asking for toppings was like pulling teeth. Then I asked for the large pita bread. You would have thought I asked for gold. It was like I was bothering her. She sighed loudly and walked to get them for me. If this had been my first time eating there it would be my last.

Four stars for the superb flavor, freshness, and quality of the food along with clean floor space. Missing five stars for the same reason many reviews have previous acknowledged - staff are SLOW. No sense of urgency, no apologies for the weight, no cheery "my pleasure" hustle as they work the queue. Shame to have phenomenal food and staff miss the mark so much. Even with the disappointing staff however, Cava is always worth a visit for the healthy options and consistent quality food and punch of flavor.

Yes please! Went here for the first time and all I can say is Zoe who? Bring the baked feta and you will be a 10/10! Food was excellent!

They ran out of rice and we had to wait over 15 minutes. The staff working their seem like they were no sense of urgency to them.

Was very excited about a new Mediterranean option in Town Madison. It was okay...I'll continue to go back to Fresko Grille instead.

And the reason is simple: Jaime. From the moment I stepped up to the counter, Jaime had the kind of warm, genuine energy that could brighten even the dullest day. Not the scripted "Hi, welcome in!" you hear everywhere--this was real, attentive, dialed-in hospitality. Jaime treated every customer like they weren't just placing an order, but like they were guests at their table. But here's where the glaze really hits: Jaime didn't just hand over food. Jaime delivered an experience. The order was taken flawlessly--no rushing, no sighs, no mistakes. Jaime knew the menu like a seasoned chef, recommending items with the confidence of someone who has tasted greatness and wants you to taste it too. Their enthusiasm for the food actually made my food taste better. When my meal came out, it was hot, fresh, and somehow plated with the kind of care you don't normally expect from fast casual. And right behind it? Jaime, checking in with a smile that wasn't forced at all--just pure pride in making sure I was taken care of. That's the part that really stuck with me. Anyone can serve chicken. But not everyone serves people the way Jaime does.

My final work travel stop this week wrapped up with a mighty fine meal at Prohibition Rooftop Bar &…read moreGrill in Madison, Alabama. The restaurant sits just a stone's throw from the ballpark where the Rocket City Trash Pandas play, so the whole place already has a fun, lively atmosphere before you even sit down. Now given the name "Prohibition," I half expected someone to knock on the door and ask for a secret password like it was 1927. Back in those days, enjoying a drink required secrecy, dim lights, and maybe a jazz band playing in the corner. Today, things are a little easier... though for this non-drinker, my order was simple: water on the rocks, hold the lemon. I prefer my water about 100 proof for maximum flavor. My boss and coworker grabbed seats at the bar while we looked over the menu. We kicked things off with the Pork Belly Burnt Ends and the Pork Bao Buns. Let me tell you, those Pork Belly Burnt Ends were an absolute masterpiece. They came out crisp and seasoned just right with a little spicy kick. Served with raw carrots, homemade pickles, and lettuce wraps to bundle those little jewels together--downright tasty. If food had a Hall of Fame, these would already have a plaque on the wall. The Pork Bao Buns were good as well, but they simply couldn't match the grand slam the Pork Belly Burnt Ends delivered. For my main course, I ordered the Smoked Wangs with the Jala Mango seasoning and a side salad. The wings were delicious--cooked and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was solid. No bootlegging required. Prohibition definitely hit it out of the park today. Between the great food, the great service, and the fun atmosphere near the ballpark, this place is a must-stop for locals or anyone just passing through Madison. Our waitress tried pretty hard to convince us to order dessert, so I'm guessing their sweets are just as flavorful as everything else on the menu. The only problem I had today? I couldn't finish my meal. I was absolutely stuffed. If this had been the 1920s, the only crime committed here would've been leaving food on the plate. Great food. Great service. I'll gladly return--though next time I may need a little more room in the stomach.

When we got into the parking lot, we thought they were closed - not a car in sight. But I saw a tiny open sign and insisted that between that, and the hours on their website, they must be open. My friend and I insisted differently. She went in and, guess what? They really were open! When we walked in and saw a sign for happy hour. Bonus! We were set. We each bought a draft for a dollar off and purchased a few of the $5 apps. The garlic knots are noted in several reviews so that was a no brainer. We also ordered the beer cheese with pretzels and our friends ordered the spinach dip with tortilla chips. I can't tell you how many beers there were, let's just say plenty. The beer was icy cold, perfect for another 95 degree day. Yelp didn't disappoint, the garlic knots were soft, pull apart deliciousness. The accompanying pizza sauce was just ok. The beer cheese as good. The accompanying pile of soft pretzel bites would have been better without so much salt. I didn't try the spinach dip. Nobody else seemed very thrilled with it. It came with tortilla chips - I don't know what kind they were but even they didn't look good. Beer Hog is designed for fun. Pool tables, dart boards, a small arcade, indoor corn hole and an array of daily activities including Harry Potter trivia night, line dancing night and live music on the weekend. There was quite a bit of patio area which will be great once our inferno weather pattern breaks. There are a couple rooms available to rent for various size events. We spoke with one of the 3 owners. The three of them designed and built out the entire interior. The owner we spoke with told us how they built the bar and every table in the building. They did a great job identifying and executing the unusual repurposing of the old library. Now that school is restarting, patrons need to mindful of afternoon traffic. If you don't know Hughes Road, just know it's a zoo when all of the schools let out. We'll definitely be back. The garlic knots alone are enough to guarantee that.

The Beer Hog in Madison is really large with eight pool tables, two dart boards, a cornhole area, a stage for live music, and a separate arcade room. I thought it was a cool place, but I prefer how the Birmingham Beer Hog music area is in a separate room than the game room. Both do offer a great craft beer selection just like Birmingham.
