The food here is delicious! Super healthy which I absolutely love! I I always get the chicken and right rice it's the perfect meal for any time of day! Not to mention that the bowl is more than enough! The times I've come here I always get amazing customer service from everyone! read more

This place is like if subway and chipotle had a Mediterranean baby and it came out as a Greek God. Best food around, super healthy options, and taste absolutely amazing. Give it a shot if you're on the fence! read more

*updated review Unfortunately I'm taking stars off because the quality of food has gone down in the past weeks. The mini pita which used to be a fav is now cold and dry. Some of our loved toppings & dressings are no longer available. There were a few times that the bowl came hardly half full, which is really disappointing compared to what it used to be when I had the exact same order in the past. I was really excited about CAVA and hope it won't lose the quality people came for. read more

I love Cava!!! Its the best for when I really want a lot of flavorful food quickly Beef Meatballs read more

Cava has great food and great service! The food is always fresh and the spicy meatballs are the best.

*Review written during COVID-19 Confession: I had heard amazing things about CAVA for some time but never had the opportunity to check it out. Well....I can say that I'm a HUGE fan! Initially, I was a little overwhelmed by all the options available but it was such a great way to try a lot of different things in one go. I ended up getting a greens and grains bowl (super greens + brown rice), mix of chicken and meatballs, 3 dips (hummus, harissa, tzatiziki), along with pretty much all the toppings, and the following dressings on the side vs directly on the food (skhug, yogurt dill, and harissa yogurt). Talk about FLAVOR - and it could be due to all the options that I had in my bowl. I really loved the skhug (cilantro hot sauce) as well as the harissa....yep, the spice was so good but not overwhelming. All the flavors worked well together and I found the bowl to be so filling that it became 2 meals for me (double win as someone who currently works from home). After paying, I took my food and went straight to the beach - perks of living in San Diego! It was incredible delicious and easy to clean up afterwards - all with a gorgeous ocean view! A few things as related to Covid-19 1. You can order in person (there are visuals for safe physical distancing), call ahead to place an order, or use the app to order for pick up. 2. Patio dining is an option (review written in September 2020) so this may be subject to change. 3. The place was very clean and efficient - tables inside the restaurant are marked as unavailable for use as they are complying with state health guidelines. read more

Loved the food and service! The dips are amazing, someplace you have to try in SD! Cheap for the amount of food you get

Been wanting to come here since we don't have this in Ojai and did not disappoint! Cava over chipotle any day.

It's a shame that they don't except tips here because they have the best customer service! The employees there are so friendly. Jasmine helped me and she had a huge smile on her face the entire time and was super accommodating and friendly. The manager John answered all my questions and Sam just looked so happy to be working there. I will definitely be back just because I love everyone who works there! Well and because they have the best bowls in town too!!! read more

Excellent fast friendly service. Best value for money I've seen since back when Chipotle was actually good. Lines get kinda long at peak hours, for good reason. It's a no brainer for me when i need a quick meal and I'm anywhere in the area. Restaurant is clean too. Nice work folks read more

Placed a mobile for 4:15 and I got there a little early and it was not ready yet--no big deal, I sat and waited. By 4:20 no bag was placed on the rack so I went up to the register and was ignored by 4 separate people who literally made eye contact with me. My order was sitting on the back counter I could have grabbed it myself. Someone preparing food in the back finally noticed me and let someone know that I was waiting so they could give me my food. I'm not annoyed with the wait I'm annoyed with being blatantly ignored I think that is so rude. read more

Great food here! My favorite is ordering the bowl here where you can choose different ingredients to add to it. My only reason for the 4 star is that is gets really really busy and orders are slow. I usually order online to skip the line but even tho it says it's ready in 15 min, definitely prepare to wait 30-40 minutes for that online order. read more

Just tried this place today after seeing it in the plaza for a while and..... WOW! Just sooo good. I got a supergreen salad with chicken and falafel balls, all toppings, hummus, tzatziki, feta, and the crunchy tortilla topping. Lemon tzatziki dressing to top it all off. This is my new go-to healthy spot in La Jolla. Super affordable for the amount of food you get!! Can't recommend this place highly enough :) Every bite was more flavorful and delicious than the last. It was so good I had to finish the whole bowl even though it could've been two meals easily for me!! read more

Favorite healthy quick bite to eat in La Jolla. Great service by Rahim, refreshing food, and fun ambiance. It hits the spot every time. I've been here too many times to count and haven't regretted it once. read more

I gotta admit, I was impressed with the entire experience. I have worked in the restaurant and customer service industry for almost 20 years and it fills my heart knowing that employees still care about representing a brand with pride and extreme care. My wife and I went in today and to be honest, we are not the best in crowded areas, COVID messed us up a little. we have never been comforted by a fast casual establishment like we were today. AMAZING and THOUGHTFUL customer service. DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFUL dishes. CLEAN and WELL ORGANIZED seating areas and bathrooms. Its like these employees actually see the big picture for a food establishment to provide more than just the food. My wife and I are cooking nerds so when we were trying each others dishes (since they were both awesome) the GM even came over to check on us and the encounter felt so genuine like she was instantly a friend, we even got to nerd out with her about the different sauces and the amazing roasted veggies. Thank you Savannah, your kindness and knowledge really was wonderful!! We can't wait to come back, we will be making it a weekly stop for sure. read more

So good everytime!! The employees are always attentive and the quality hits everytime. Definitely recommend the lamb meatballs!

fast workers, excellent management and good food! Chris is doing a great job managing

The workers are so friendly and the food is good usually gives good portion can't really complain.

Everything from the food to the staff was great! It was my first time trying Cava and building my own bowl but the staff was super friendly and patient. She described all the sauces and gave me recommendations based on popular items. At $11-12 a bowl, it's a bit on the pricey side compared to Chipotle but definitely worth it. I will say that they are currently understaffed and hiring so the tables weren't very clean and the trash was piled up in a corner. Would definitely visit again. read more

CAVA - Build your own bowl with pita on the side. - Mediterranean Near Me - La Jolla, California

This has been a favorite spot of mine for as long as I've lived in San Diego. The food is delicious and healthy, the portions are great, and the employees are always very kind and helpful. Lala helped me last time, and was amazing. She was very helpful with my questions and accommodating even though I had a very particular order. Thank you, Lala!! read more

Food is hit or miss. Undercooked lentils or rice that ruin the whole meal. If you order online they'll probably miss things even if you paid extra. I've had decent service, not the best but I also can tell these guys are probably just not taught expectations for better service. It's really close to my home so I've had it often. Had food poisoning once after eating not sure if related to the meal I had here. Over all, love cava, and it's been good in Del Mar. this place isn't as consistent as I wish it was. (Just finished only half my bowl because Ofcourse there was something too crunchy/hard in the bowl. And missed some hummus but I ordered online so I should've known) read more

Fantastic service even during busy lunch hour. The employees here are always kind and gave us complimentary food and drinks for our waits. Superb service thanks christian at the register! read more

Great service! Entire staff was efficient and quick despite how crazy busy it was. I particularly appreciated Shaq's positive attitude and kindness when we payed. Will always return to this location! read more

Went by this location for the first time and I must say my bowl was amazing the chicken was fresh and hot I had the chance to have a harissa avocado bowl since I do love my food spicy Scarlett and daisy both recommended I try it . The store was pretty busy but the line was moving pretty swiftly I loved the lemon herb dressing it was delicious didn't get to try the pita bread cause they were all out but hopefully my next visit I can try definitely will recommend this place to my co workers and I will be back to try a pita wrap next read more

Do not come here during high traffic times (especially lunch hour). Complete shit show.. takes 40 minutes to get through the line. Extremely understaffed. Constantly out of toppings and protein. Even ran out of forks... read more

I'm a huge Cava fan and this location has the best customer service! I was greeted by the entire CAVA team, Ayden, Cam, John, and Adan as soon as I walked in. Ayden helped me out and made my bowl for me. He was super friendly and very helpful! They took the extra step and asked me if I needed anything else and even found a pita bread for me! Highly recommend coming by to this location if you are in the area! read more

CAVA - Mediterranean Near Me - La Jolla, California

I'm a big fan of CAVA and this location was no exception. Getting your food is ultra fast but made fresh in a real kitchen like Chipotle. Options here are almost all healthy with fresh super greens and loads of veggie toppings. It's one of the very few fast casual, healthy places to eat in the country, which is sort of horrifying. Please open a CAVA in Oceanside! read more

All I have to say is if I could afford to eat here for the rest of my life I would. I live laugh love cava with my whole soul. Literally the absolute happiness that my body feels everytime I eat and I can't even express in words it's just so good for absolutely no reason. I think about cava more than i should. I eat pray love this place. I don't know what else to tell you but to go and try it for yourself. It's something that i think everyone should try before they die. read more

Idk what it is but i've been here many times and i used to really really be obsessed with it but the last few 3 times i've come, the employees are so rude to me and seem like they hate it here. They used to give rlly big portions that made it sm worth it and better than chipotle but now every time i come in begging for a little more chicken, to which they tell me with attitude it's extra. Also, they're ALWAYS out of ingredients every single time i go:/ read more

Good value compared to Chipotle. And better flavor. Try the cucumber lime drink, it's so good.

Usually I don't like this fast food style but I really like there food, and good vegan options

I do love this place. Im also disappointed in my last two visits. The attitude and energy in the employees is not good. So much that I leave feeling not so good. Management, how can you constructively work on improving this? I tried to call and share feedback more directly but there is noone to answer the phone. I want to keep coming here. But a salad isn't worth bad vibes. I am sure your people are under pressure and I know working with the public isnt always an easy ask. Maybe you can help uplift your people? We all need that sometimes. Please take care of these kids and show them how to better show up in a service role as a reflection of your leadership. read more

Best Cava in the area!! I love the service and you can't go wrong with the harissa bowl

The food was good, but the pick-up process was just inefficient and confusing. I ordered my food for pick-up on their app. I came in to pick up my order around the pick-up time, but there was no sign of how to pick it up. There is a shelf to pick up orders but for some reason, they don't put pick-up orders on there. You had to ask the cashier or someone else working behind the counter to pick up, who can be busy dealing with other customers. I had to wait a minute or two to finally ask them. And it turns out, my order wasn't even ready! I had to wait another five minutes for my order to be ready. Disappointed with my pick-up experience. It would have been faster and less frustrating if I just came in and ordered. There are many places that get pick-up just right. I don't see why Cava can't do it right as well. read more
