We have gone by numerous times and we either had already ate or they weren't open. We happened to get lucky this day. We were the only customers which was sad to see because it seemed to be a great place. The atmosphere was nostalgic and there were many old photos hanging that were really neat to see. The building itself is old so it fit well with the theme. The Manager running the place was talkative & friendly telling us about the business and a bit about the other locations. We shared 2 different sandwiches a special of the day and a club. The food was good. We really enjoyed them. There were a few take out orders while we were there. This covid shut down has hurt so many businesses. They even reduced their hours and close early now. Looking at past photos the dinners looked so good. He wasn't sure if they would reopen yet for awhile because of covid. Prices are a bit higher than some places but they are not like other places they have their own Niche. We will for sure go back sometime and check out the other locations.

The first thing I saw in front of this business was a Puppy Pit stop bowl of water, and I was instantly glad we stopped. What a small yet immensely thoughtful gesture! Now, on to the drinks! The drinks were both beautiful and delicious. The river runs right behind the coffee shop and we walked down to enjoy the view with our coffee. It was a great experience. This spot is deceptively huge. The different sections are very intentional and beautifully organized. I had an especially great time looking at the "Beautiful Books" section this visit. I ended up falling in love with a short stories book by Chips Hardy that I took home. I also adored their graphic t-shirts here. I am not a big t-shirt person, but always want more graphic tees, so was so excited to love this one so much. I had a really special experience with one of the booksellers here on my recent visit too. I could not find The Enchanted April in the fiction section and when I asked, one of the booksellers got really excited about the author and that book.
