Took my Tibetan terrier to get a trim and wash, and omg when i went to pick him up he was so upset! She said he started to bite her twice, well after seeing the cut there are several spots where it was too close I'm sure it hurt then when i saw him because my daughter picked him up one of his paws was not trimmed, nor his face! And I'm sure it hurt him paid 90$ for what? My dog is traumatized! Breaks my heart because he is the sweetest boy. Maybe someone else did it idk won't be going back there. read more

I have been washing this dog with the hose, peroxide, and dawn dish soap...... He chases skunks!! With the cold and wet weather, I had to turn to the professionals. He hasn't smelled this good, or been this relaxed ever. The appointment process was painless. He smells better, his ears are clean, his nails are trimmed. He is a Happy Dog!!! My dog is extremely nervous and does not tolerate getting his nails cut! I've been in trouble at the vet's office, given sedatives with instructions on how long to do before coming in, then my dogs drugged all day. instructions on conditioning him, by the time I get him conditioned for this he would have needed them cut so many times...lol..so although I'm trying, I needed someone that could cut my Hammys nails, with as little stress and no drugs if at all possible..Well I found the place..I cannot express my gratitude..My dog was not even upset when we left at all and he's not all intoxicated...The owner her daughter, and I'm guessing her husband, they were all very professional and accommodating to our needs..We will definitely be back! read more

DON'T TAKE YOUR DOG HERE EVER!!! This place was the first place we took out puppy for her bath and clipping. She had had a bad experience with petco but this place was horrendous. They shaved her and left razor burn all over her, then had the balls to state that she was a difficult dog and charged us more!! My wife had picked her up and didn't want to argue, WE HAVE NEVER BEEN BACK NOR WILL WE EVER!! They hurt the dog and charged us more, say what? Can you imagine a doctor charging you more because he cut off a leg when you were supposed to have an appendectomy? This was not only ridiculous and insulting. read more

Had never been here before. People seemed friendly -'s got me an appointment right away. They said they knew how to do a particular cut, but after picking up my dog, you could tell they just took a razor to her back side. The place smells of cigarettes and urine. It needs a deep cleaning! My dog's nails didn't seem trimmed and I could hardly tell them trimmed her. Won't be going back. Sad, as I like to support local businesses. read more

Yea........I have been going here for years. ALL my dogs have been going here for years. Its a small business. Its run by people who care for animals. Right now I own the WORST, most obnoxious, hard to handle, will BITE you before you can say "Get that damn Daschund outta here!" dog in the world! And even though, I'm sure, they would rather say "Take your business elsewhere," they take him, wash him, express his glands, and groom him...........all for an incredibley reasonable price. I just had my Pekingese groomed at this location for half the price that PetSmart would charge me and they did a wonderful job! I was able to schedule an appointment the day of and it only took an hour and a half. They are a family owned business and were very genuine people. I will definitely continue to go here from now on! If I could give a zero I would. My shepards have never been boarded which was explained to them. Within an hour of dropping them off I was called due to the fact of my dogs barking. I was told to pick them up and when I did they were very rude and discourteous. They then told me that they would keep 50 dollars for one hour. Be wary about leaving your dogs with them, bad business. I brought my dogs home and not one bark, if you know dogs it takes them a little bit to get acclimated. Woooowha what a suprise!!! I had a really wonderful experience.. I been having a hard time getting my puppy to let me touch her feet to cut her nails I called animal crackers they wouldn take pit bulls... Okay so I remembered I went to elementary school all the way to high school with the lady son. We got there she talked to my baby. It wasn't happen. So she had me take her to the back and actuall help her I thought it was pretty nice. In less then two min her nails were all good and she was more confident walking out than when she came in! I'm picky about how I want my Pomeranian groomed and usually have to take her back to the groomer to be trimmed more. We live in the country, and her long hair picks up burrs, foxtails, dirt and crud. A little trim just isn't enough. Denise worked with me, trimming my Pom to my specifications, not what she thought was right or what she learned in school. I'm very pleased with her work and will continue to drive the extra distance to get the job done right. read more

I've been bringing my dog here for a few years now, and I've been quite satisfied. My dog requires medication in order to be groomed, and Cauddles has gone above and beyond to work with my dog. On one special occasion, I had a 9:30 apptmnt and the meds hadn't taken effect on my dog. I called Cauddles 7hrs later to tell them the drugs had set in, they were at home but went into the shop to groom my dog. I highly appreciated!!!! read more

I took my 3lb puppy Allie here for her very first grooming....she was matted badly, and she isnt very co-operative, but the staff was very gentle with her and did a great job. she came back very clean and happy! I was happy with the rates and friendlyness of the staff! Im going to continue to bring Allie and her big sister Miley here! This was the worst experience I have ever had with a groomer. Not only did she not trim my dog as we had talked about. She had the nerve to tell me that I didn't even know what my dog was suposed to look like after the hair cut. I told her that this was a hack job, I could have done this myself. Then she gets a groomers hand book and shows me what my dog is suoposed to look like with the hair cut. The picture was a drawing that was about a inch x and inch. I just laughed and told her to look on the internet to see what a real picture looked like. His skin is also burned like some else stated. I've taken my animals to many different groomers over the years, and this was the worst one. The staff is very friendly and they seem like nice people, but the location was dirty. They seemed very laid back and casual. I asked for the full groom which they said included a bath, ear cleaning, nail clipping, feet trimming, the works. When asked how much it was they suggested a price. When I picked up my dog, I was in a hurry, so I didn't do a thorough examination, but he looked brushed and happy. They kept commenting on how beautiful he was and mentioned they took out a matte of hair in the back. When I got home, upon further examination, I noticed his face looked a little dirty so I lifted his ears and found dirt still there from when he rolled in our backyard. I kept looking and saw dirt in his tail and matted fur still. It looks as though they brushed him, trimmed his feet and nails and put a bow on his colar. Not impressed. read more

I will never take my dogs here again. (this place is now on 713 Merchant St.)I read about how knowledgeable they were on different dog breeds so I thought I'd try it since I have a jack russell with a wirey coat. I have had troubles in the past with groomers not grooming him correctly, so even though they claim to be knowledgeable I specifically told the lady a normal brush or blowdry won't work. She agreeably shook her head so I left. When I went to pick up my dogs, one was descent but my JRT was not. We got him home and then noticed not only was he not groomed as we asked, but he smelled like cologne...they sprayed my dog with cologne!?!? Then we started looking at both our dogs in more detail and noticed they both still had mud in their paws and on their stomaches. Ridiculous! We had to rewash both dogs. They stopped grooming my pomeranian shitzu mix because they said he tried to bite off their face...(He is 8 months old) and has never so much as growled at anyone. We get him home and I begin to give him the haircut myself and his right eye was all bloody like someone smacked him in the eye. I called the company and got hung up on. This place is wonderul! number one in town, I dont know what i would do without this wonderful woman and her dog grooming skills. I took in my lab which in this case, is a pain in the butt. Asked her to shave him because of the heat and he came out spectacular! I definately would recommend this business very friendly environment, great customer service and clean. I felt safe leaving my animal with her and she always does exactly how i want it and even better! If you want your dog to smell like cigarette smoke- this is the place for you. I dropped off my dog in the morning and when I picked her up the entire shop smelled like a ash tray. I had to re-bathe my dog twice to get the smell out. Then, when I talked to others who had gone to them also- they were of the same opinion. C'mon people....be a little more professional. We have been taking our dogs here since 2002 and Denise and her family have always done and amazing job with all of our dogs(huskies and a golden retriever). I no longer live in the area but I still take my Golden there because I do not trust anyone else with my dogs. If this place was a horrible as a couple of people make it sound, she would not be in business for over a decade and as busy as she is. read more

I LOVE taking my animals here!! I don't just have dogs,but cats also and they take care of them at the lowest prices around!! My cats are way difficult to bathe and they do it without complaining plus they come home smelling GREAT. Guests that come over always compliment me on how great my animals look and i tell them it's all because of the awesome groomers at Caudles K-9 Castle. My neighbors now take their dogs there as well. Couldn't ask for better people, they take the time to listen to what you'd like your animal to look like and give them the attention they deserve. I don't understand why some people have had such bad experiences with this place. I've been taking my Yorkshire Terrier here for a while now, and they've always been great with her. They go the extra mile and pay very close attention to the little details, right down to the pretty little bow they put in her hair. They ALWAYS get her right in for an appointment, even when I call and book at the last minute. AND they are the rock bottom lowest price in town, I checked everywhere else. read more
