I LOVE Catwalk! I have gotten my hair cut by Beyanca twice and have loved the experience and end result both times. Beyanca is not only super skilled with cutting and styling, but she also takes the time to evaluate what you want and informs you of any potentially necessary adjustments that need to be made for that style to suit your hair (like cowlicks, hair density, etc.) so it shows that she really puts in the time and effort to give you the best cut. And it's reasonably priced! The facility itself is very clean and nice, as well, and the people are friendly. Highly recommend! read more

I've used this salon for several years. You can't go wrong with any of the stylists. They take their time and do a great job. Prices are very reasonable for the service you get. I recently got a cut from Emma, a new stylist. She was great, awesome cut, wash and style. Thanks Emma, Marietta, and your whole team for running such a top notch salon. read more

Every worker was so friendly and the salon had such a welcoming and nonjudgemental feel! I got my hair colored by Emma and she was the sweetest! She did exactly what I wanted and even taught me how to curl my hair! This was a great experience and I highly recommend, I will definitely come back here when I need my hair done! :) read more

Love Korey!! I have been going to Catwalk for roughly two years and have been in love with my hair every time I leave. She always knows what I want without me knowing exactly what that is! She also does my eyebrows and are also always perfect! And I can be a tad last minute, and she always squeezes me in. My great hair now has my two sisters and mom going to Catwalk. They are all so friendly and highly trained. Can not recommend more!! read more

I first saw rainbow hair dye on a YouTube video and fell in love with it. I showed my husband of 54 years (I'm 74) and he said 'Go for it!' Unfortunately he was sick with cancer and it kept getting postponed. He died last January just before my birthday. I decided to get it done in his honor before HIS birthday, in February. I walked in and made an appointment. I had no preference in stylist because I'd never been there before. I drew Marietta and absolutely loved her. She cut my hair and then dyed it. The shop closes at 7 on Friday but my appointment ran over and I was there until almost 8pm. No one ever said a word about it being late. It was one of the stylist's birthday and they had brought in homemade Italian food. So they even fed me dinner! It was altogether a fantastic experience. I will definitely be back. And everyone there loved my hair. I am also getting compliments other places. Lots of people at the grocery store, the office supply, and at PT have said 'I love your hair!' Not just women, either. My only regret is that I wasn't able to get it done in time for my husband to see it. He would have loved it too. read more

I have been trying to find a decent hair place since moving from Austin and have finally found it! I was referred to a stylist that was booked and decided to go with Erica Ellis based off of her bio on the website. It could not be more spot on. We conversed the entire time but she made sure she understood exactly what I wanted with my hair before anything else. There was not a single awkward moment throughout the hour long appointment. It is the best haircut I have had in a very long time and i will definitely be back and refer all of my friends to her. Thanks Erica! read more

I came in and made a hair appointment for a cut. I decided to get bangs and a trim, just to try something new. The stylist, whose name I can't remember sorry, was decent and did exactly what I told her to do, sadly it didn't look that good on me, but not the stylist's fault. This wouldn't have bothered me so if it weren't for another stylist gesturing towards me to her friend, this made me very self conscious and uncomfortable. The rest of the crew have me odd looks as they walked by, and I felt like I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Don't go here unless you know you'll look good, or you'll be pointed at and talked about. read more

I had went I for a hair consultation and haircut with Claudia and she was great! She absolutely knows her stuff and is kind and will listen to your needs. I had a LOT of questions especially with my hair changing and thinning and she helped me understand the best reason for it and gave me a cut to help my hair feel thicker yet also lighter. The cut was great she will spend time with you helping you understand the process and products that she puts into your hair and makes sure that ya'll are on the exact same level before she begins cutting. My hair feels so much better already and it falls and moves so lovely and I've never had my hair feel so light! I ended up buying a hair serum and she helped me understand what is best for my hair and ingredients to watch out for. It was more costly than the average Great Cuts of course but your money is definitely worth it here and you leave with a great style that you can just change clothes and go out already. If you want to pamper yourself or get some true hair knowledge then Catwalk is definitely the place to go! read more

It took me all four years of college to find this gem and I was sad to leave it when I moved out of state! First off, the staff is extremely courteous and you are greeted as soon as you walk in the door. Be sure to book ahead of time because they are often very busy. They will do their best to make accommodations! My go-to stylist there is Korey Mynar. She takes the time to make sure that you get exactly what you want. I usually bring in a photo and explain to her what I want. I have referred her to several friends. She did my friend's hair for her wedding (which turned out gorgeous!) and also helped another friend of mine take off SEVEN INCHES of her hair. She takes the time to get to know you and I went back to get my hair cut there one last time before I left! I will be coming back here to get my hair cut whenever I visit! read more

I have been struggling to find a replacement for my stylist in Houston, TX where I moved from. I have been driving back to Houston for cuts because every single place I tried in CS, TX has been terrible. I could not travel back to Houston and in dire need of a trim called Catwalk. They are amazing. AMAZING!! read more

Devery is an AMAZING hair stylist. Not only is he incredibly talented at his craft, but he is fun, funny, and very friendly. Fellas, you owe it to yourselves to go get a PROFESSIONAL hairstyle, so skip great clips and all the other cheapo places, and go see this guy. He works magic! read more

Great salon! Very clean and stylish, and the guy who greeted me was very sweet, prompt and helpful as soon as I walked in. Good first impression! :) I had an appointment with Claudia last night, and she was so sweet and did a great job cutting my wavy hair. Not only that, but she also gave me some great tips when I asked about certain hairstyling techniques (achieving a different style of wave for my hair and how to correctly tease my hair), and did a fantastic job blending my hair's layers. I'll definitely be back! read more

Very nice salon but the guy who cut my hair definitely didn't do what I want. He insisted that he knew what was best for me even though it wasn't how I wanted my hair. read more

I've never been able to find a place to get my haircut away from home, so I decided to try Catwalk out after a recommendation from a friend. I didn't know which stylist I wanted so I just told the receptionist to pick one for me and she chose Erleigh. I was disappointed with Erleigh. She cut it too short and also thinned it out using her "own technique" that completely got rid of the volume. She had me facing away from the mirror the whole time so I couldn't see what she was doing. Instead of nicely cutting off the hair, she would hack off chunks that had me internally screaming, "STOP!!" Plus, on top of all of this, she charged me an extra $10 because my hair was longer than my shoulders! That's a total rip off! I would not recommend this place for college students at all. My total bill came to $50 and my haircut was so simple: long length with long layers and short bangs. I've had that style for a year now and I told her to just trim it, but she took it upon herself to "fix it up so it's healthier." The stylist I used was only a Level 1, so you can imagine what a Level 3 or 4 stylist would charge. I'm not one to argue extensively about money, so I paid her anyway, but I will not be going back. read more

Tiffany, the owner is the BEST! She is the only one I trust to highlight my hair. I've been with her for over 8 years and she never disappoints. She did my hair and makeup for my wedding years ago and everything looked amazing. She is the best at what she does and always makes you feel valued! She really cares about her clients. I highly recommend Catwalk to anyone who wants the top of the line people doing their hair! read more

Simply put, Tiffany is a genius. I discovered her in 2006 or 2007 when she was working for Beauty First (no longer existent) on Texas Ave. A couple years later, she left and opened up her own salon, Catwalk. Within about 6 months, Beauty First went out of business and closed down. Coincidence? Eh maaybe...but probably not. From its very first opening day, Catwalk has always had excellent stylists who delivered spectacular service. Each stylist charges different prices depending on their level of experience and the hair (short, medium, long, men's, women's) that they're working with. I've always stuck with Tiffany ($41 for shampoo, cut, and style) since she is the only person who has ever given me a perfect haircut. I have really fine hair, and somehow, she is able to make my locks look full and voluminous every single time. The best part is that after getting a cut from Tiffany, all I have to do is let my hair air dry and it'll fall right into place without any work or product. Now, ladies, don't get your hopes up- I said Tiffany was a genius, not a miracle worker! This probably won't be the case for most since I already have very manageable hair. My hair will usually dry and detangle itself regardless, but it doesn't always fall the right way and stay full after I get it cut from other salons. A note for the men: the Hubs consistently went to Devry ($16 for shampoo, cut, and style) for his haircuts and was also very pleased with the results. Devry's one of the few stylists that has given the Hubs a haircut that I (gasp!) was happy with. Since moving back to Austin, I've tried a few salons, and no one has even come close to Tiffany. A word of advice: make your appointments well in advance. I knew I was going to College Station this last weekend, and I tried to make an appointment for either Friday or Saturday three weeks ago. She was already completely booked! Tiffany, if you're reading this, I'm glad that business is good in the booming metropolis of Bryan/College Station, but I will love you forever if you ever decide to set up shop in Austin. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this salon! I have been going to Catwalk for a few years and LOVE Jaclyn!!! When she was on maternity leave I went to the owner, Tiffani (who I also love) but my next appointment will be back with Jaclyn. This crowd is fun, professional, and so great to work with. They will NOT let you get away with a poor consultation or haircut. I tried to chop of ten inches of locks and didn't know what I wanted and Jaclyn MADE me look a books and tell her what I liked or disliked. I didn't care I just wanted it off! Afterwards what I came out with I loved! Not crazy prices, they also do dry cuts, great overall. *whew* there are lots of exclamation points and capitalized letters in this review! Must have been excited. read more

After looking for the perfect haircut for my birthday I decided to take a chance while in College Station and try Catwalk. Made my appointment with Devery. Showed him the cut and he said no problem. Well it was a big problem, not only did he ruin the cut he has the nerve to say he's sorry I didn't see his artistic interpretation. I made him stop before I ended up with no hair. Needless to say I didn't pay for cut but am completely devastated and embarrassed to be seen with this mess. Sure it grows back but he cut off a lot and that will take awhile to grow back. read more

Beyanca cut my hair and I honestly can't remember the last time I've loved my hair so much. I wasn't sure what I wanted - I just wanted it to look cleaner and cuter. (I've been growing out a pixie for a year and a half and now it's a little past shoulder length.) I told her generally what I wanted and it turned out SO CUTE. She takes her time, so just plan accordingly. (My haircut with wash and style took a little over an hour.) But it's so worth it!! read more

I called up the salon a a few days ago to take an appointment for a haircut for friday. Got a call from them on Thursday to confirm my appointment. 2 hours before my appointment I got a call from them saying that they can't take me since the stylist got double booked SOMEHOW. This was supposed to be my first trip there since I heard good reviews and they're supposed to be the best in College Station. Sort of feel glad that I didn't trust them with my hair. Needless to say I'm not visiting them ever read more

My hairstylist is Claudia and I love the way she leaves my hair every time. She is always asking what I want and notating what works best for my hair type. After having my hair chopped & botched by so many places in this area, someone suggested I go see Devery! I'm so glad I did he restored my faith in a stylist. He has a great personality not one of those that doesn't speak to you. He's so witty & talented. I'm a customer for life. read more

Accommodating, clean and fair prices. Overall very happy with the result. Stylist Kori/Korey possibly, did a great job styling long hair.

Just got my hair cut by Korey! She is amazing. I typically hate getting my hair cut because it either turns out to short or I end up just not really liking it but she did a fabulous job. It is the perfect length and I love my new style. The salon itself is clean and everyone in there was nice. I already made another appointment for in a month and usually I don't make appointments until my hair get so long that I cannot wait any longer. read more

I went in wanting to get my hair dyed I sat for about 2-3 hours while the hair stylist was dying my hair after she was done washing it and blow drying it.. it looked THE SAME... maybe 3-4 strands of a very light blond, so I complained and I was very upset I wanted my money back but of course they didn't want to give me a refund. I was very upset that I paid so much just so my hair would look the same read more

Great stylists and I was going there for the past 3 years. Unfortunately, my stylist is too busy and too booked out anymore to get an appointment. I guess Catwalk doesn't seem to focus on long-term customers. Also, don't leave a voice message, like to cancel an appointment, because they call you if you don't show up asking if you planned on making it to appointment and seemed surprised when I said no, I left voice mail- their response was no one had checked VM. If you are a new customer, they will get you in. The customer service is great for new customers, not so much for long term people like myself. read more

I came here in April, so this review is long overdue. When I came I had already pre bleached hair after a failed ombre and I asked for just a light brown all over color. I showed them a picture and even picked the color out in the hair book. Not sure what happened but it came out JET BLACK and the funniest part was they told me "it looks just like the picture." They must be color blind or something. I was horrified! I'm very pale and it washed me out and I've never been that dark before. It lasted for months and would not fade despite all efforts and it has cost me HUNDREDS to try and get rid of the black they gave me! I'm STILL trying to get lighter after all this time. Would not recommend if you're trying to get something you actually asked for! read more

I've had a very difficult time finding a good hair place in town, and now that I'm graduating of course I find a great one! Got my hair cut and colored by Erica, who did an awesome job. I'm very happy with the results, and will hopefully be back before I'm gone. read more

This place it AMAZING!! It is such a cute little place with a great atmosphere. I was my first time there and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I made an appointment with Erica since there were so many good reviews and they said she was good with blonde coloring. Erica was fantastic and so easy to talk to. She did a great job on my trim, showed me some awesome dry shampoo (that I will be purchasing soon), and gave me some advice on how to color my hair the next time I came in. I will be a loyal customer for the rest of the time I am in school! :) read more

Those reviews must be by people who work there because this place is awful!!! They ruined by hair, I was getting it dyed brown and turned out RED! I am in utter shock never been treated so rudely in my life. read more

I haven't gotten my hair cut in a LONG time, and usually I go to the cheap places but since I was getting a short haircut (a drastic change) I decided to splurge and go here- and boy was I happy I did! First off, they are not that pricey- 34 bucks plus tip- and my hair is SO. EFFIN. AWESOME! I am so very very happy with it! They offer you a drink when you walk in the door, I didn't have to wait, and my stylist (Erleigh) was great! I really could not be happier! read more

Please be cautious when booking highlights with Devery. His foiling technique is great but he tends to get distracted. He left me under the dryer for 40 minutes while doing a blow out on another client. I could go into more detail but the damage has been done, no pun intended. I am now rocking a pixie cut after spending a ton of money on hair reconstructors and protein treatments. I think he has good styling technique but has lousy time management skills. I will not be returning. read more

I love to get my hair cut at this place (and still do), but had a bad experience with getting my hair highlighted. I have brown hair and wanted blonde natural-looking highlights, and what I got were very thick brassy yellow chunky highlights. I disliked it tremendously. read more
