I have been wanting to check out this dog park for quite some time now. I wasn't really impressed. It's a nice size area for dogs to run around, yes, but it's just that. There's one small awning with benches/chairs for humans to sit under and hang out, and then there's one bench in the back. Near the back are 4 dog pools that dogs can hang out in/rinse off at. I'm not sure why it was super muddy when I came last, it did not rain the day of or prior. Nonetheless, my pup had fun and that's all that matters. If someone invites us to come, we'll go, but it's not the first park that will come to mind if we have a say in where we'll go.

Best place for those babies to run and be dogs!!! Yesterday there was a bit of a scuffle but my baby dog bounced back as not all pups get along

Ok park for the neighborhood but it's definitely worn down compared to the other parks. The bathrooms were out of order. A toilet wasn't working and the other looked like someone took a sledgehammer to it. The playground had new mulch. A riding toy is either broken or missing. Dog park seems decent. Probably won't come back or ever hold a party here though.

Great little park and since this is the Woodlands, there are parks EVERYWHERE. Doggy lovers unite because there is a dog park here. kids can enjoy some swings and a large size playground. I'm loving the two tennis courts and the huge park to run around in. Great place to have a picnic.

My dog loves it here! It's a safe area and I feel comfortable that my dog won't get hurt. We normally go in the morning and get to hang out with fun pawrents and their pets! My dog is over 25lbs and does well with the large dogs. As long as everyone's dog gets along the days are usually fun! Don't have your dog wear a bandana, it'll probably get dirty from how much playing he/she will do. I've had my dog in a jacket a couple times but that gets so dirty so wouldn't recommend that either! (My dog and his favorite English bulldog are pictured below!)

Plenty of room for the large dogs to run and play. Our girl loves to cool off after play so the puppy pools are perfect. There were too many mud puddles for the park which led to dogs getting dirtier than usual. Biggest issue we had was with the dog owners not cleaning up after their dogs. Not a pleasant experience to step in left over messes!

Absolutely love this park and my dog loves the dog park. This is the most social dog park for sure in the woodlands so if your looking for a quiet open space for your dog to run this is not it. However, if you have a social dog or your dog needs socializing come on!

Burroughs Park is one of those places that makes you appreciate having great local parks nearby…read more It's huge and has a little bit of everything -- fishing ponds, multiple playgrounds for kids of different ages, long walking trails, and plenty of open space to just enjoy being outside. The playground areas are especially great for families because there are several scattered throughout the park, so it never feels overly crowded. The fishing ponds are also a nice touch if you want to slow things down and relax for a bit. It's a great spot for a weekend walk, letting the kids burn off some energy, or just getting some fresh air. The park is generally well maintained and there's plenty of room to spread out. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it can get pretty busy on nice days and parking near the playgrounds fills up fast. But overall, it's definitely one of the better parks in the area and worth the visit.

Dog park win! This park is nestled away in the forest…read moretowards the back of the park. Love that it's a huge open fenced in park for the fur babies to roam. Lots of giant trees where squirrels like to play hide and seek with the dogs. Only down side is there's just one water fountain towards the front and then a couple faucets where folks bring dog bowls to put out for the dogs. There's a couple of wash stations outside of the dog park which comes in handy.

Oh Yeah, serenity abounds in this beautiful Woodlands Park…read more There are over 110 parks in The Woodlands but this one is special to me. This one has a beautiful lake with a waterfall which cascades over a bridge walkway. The meandering shape of the lake is just so graceful and relaxing to look upon. Some cool features are the fact you can walk down to the waters edge and just take in the beauty of the water gently splashing up on the grassy shores with big Texas shade trees and baby ducks sleeping in the grassy areas. Sit on the walkway wall right above the waterfall and watch the waterfall as you drift away daydreaming mindlessly without a care in the world. There's a couple of picnic tables to bring a snack and just hang out with a total 360 view of the lake. Picturesque for photos. Nicely manicured grass areas and natural grassy terrain - you choose. Catch and release fishing. You can ride your bike up to the waters edge or drive your car and just park on the side. There use to be many large wild ducks and geese which would walk across Cochrans Crossing and hold up traffic. Don't seem to see the big wild ones anymore. If you do and are new to this park don't feed them. They'll come running fast after you and will ATTACK. I've been chased out by them snapping at the bottom of my jeans. I even had to throw pine cones on the ground to deter them letting them think it was food to escape. Anyway it seems like the LARGE WILD ATTACK DUCKS have moved on and the park is back to a more ZEN feeling.
