Our dinghy broke near them. So sweet and helpful. Let us use the dock until we could get it going again.

These stunning modern apartments offer 1, 2 & 3-bedroom floor plans, a Romeo Juliet shower & tub, indoor parking, and they're pet-friendly too! We had the best time with Mayor Nancy Kline from @citystaug, Kara from @oldcitypr, and Liz Ryan from @thebeach1055, plus enjoyed live music by @ramonatheriot, had tasty bites from @asadolife, craft cocktails, and giveaways. If you're looking for waterfront living, this place is seriously worth a tour. Book yours at thesoutherlyattheshipyard.com -- 130 Shipyard Way, just steps from @asadolife!

WOW! Why have we chose to keep our boat here? Exceptional service hands down. From the moment you…read morearrive on the property you instantly feel welcome by all of the staff members. The boat guys are so respectful and help out in anyway they can. Lori is amazing as well. She will take care and guide you through any and every situation. She knows her stuff! They all work really hard to make sure you're taken care of don't forget to tip. The restaurant will be opening soon and it looks beautiful! It looks like a place you would want to casually hang out at even if you're not going on the boat. From the looks of it, they have great outdoor seating area as will as some fine dining inside. I literally can not wait to try it out. This marina is not a joke y'all ...it's luxury and I'm blessed to be part of it. If you are in need of a place to store your boat this is the place you want to be part of! Thank you to the hard working staff we appreciate you all!

This marina and mooring field has some decent amenities and overall very clean considering the traffic it receives. They have multiple washers and dryers, captains lounge, bathrooms, multiple showers, and a pump-out boat. There is some current and shallow spots, so be careful, but the staff was extremely helpful in helping us figure out how to make sure the mooring ball doesn't hit the side of the boat. The easy access to the ocean and ICW makes it a perfect spot for daysailing and side trips. Overall, the rates are really good in comparison to other marinas/mooring fields in Florida. Mooring Daily: $23.47 Mooring Weekly: $132 Marina Daily: $2.10/ft/day Marina Weekly: $10.50/ft/week (and they have further discounts for county residents and longer-term) But what is really great about this marina & mooring field is the location! It is in the middle of downtown St. Augustine which is full of history, restaurants, and bars. It is also a great spot to view fireworks and other events. The only thing missing is that it takes a bit of work to get to a grocery store, which is either a long dinghy ride+walk or bus ride. Liveaboards are also very welcome in this marina and mooring field and they have a regular cruisers net as well as other events during the peak season. If I were to ever find myself working or retiring in Northeast Florida, I would strongly consider making the mooring field my home base!

We make a point to support the business by continuing to order while we're there, and in the past, the staff has always been welcoming to families. Unfortunately, today was a very different experience. I was there with my 6- and 2-year-old, who are active, as most young kids are. I stayed close, followed them around, and made sure they weren't being disruptive. They were simply being kids--dancing, enjoying the music, and yes, occasionally walking in front of people. Each time, I apologized, and most guests were kind and understanding--many even smiling and saying they missed those ages. That positive experience changed when an employee approached me and said my children couldn't be running around. I completely understand the need for safety and respect for others, but it was disappointing to feel like children aren't embraced in what I believed was a relaxed, outdoor, family-friendly environment. We weren't in a formal dining space, but rather an open area where I thought families would be welcome. We've never had this issue before, even when my oldest was younger, which made it even more surprising. Sadly, this experience has us reconsidering where we spend our time, especially during such beautiful weather. If the expectation is a more adult-only environment, it may be helpful to communicate that clearly so families can make informed decisions. Just sharing our experience for other families who may be looking for a welcoming place to spend time together.
