i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! we went in with a problem with my cat and nobody but the receptionist was kind. this veterinarian walked in didn't really say a single word to my sister or i and grabbed the cat. she brought an assistant in to help hold the cat and when the cat cried and yelped the assistant jumped and made my cat jump. the assistant grabbed the back of my cats neck with no gloves on and left finger nails imprints and open wounds and blood on the back of her neck. this was the worst experience of a vet i have been to. we walked out after that very unhappy and she presented to look in my eyes and tell me after she wanted to sedate my cat that my cat was going to die and i can't leave and shouldn't. we right away left and went to a new vet and in 5 minutes had the problem fixed and the cat was perfectly fine. i wouldn't trust this place at all. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A BAD EXPERIENCE. Meanwhile they have birds in a small cage in the examination room in a very small cage. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I called asking for pricing as I was bringing 3 kittens for surgery. I was given a cost of $350.00 each & told if they didn't have their rabies vaccine they would need that. I agreed. When picking my kittens up I was expecting a remaining balance between $500 & $600. Instead it was $1022.50! charges for exams of each kitten that was never mentioned to me & I had recent records of clean bills of health from their adoption. They said the cost of the surgery had cha a year ago & they didn't know why I was told the $350.00 price. I think the treatment of the kittens was good as well as their surgery was done well but not notifying me of additional charges & the extra cost vs what I was told & them not standing by it I will not be recommending them. read more

TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE I have never gone to Facebook or social media for any issue really. I feel like I need to speak up about this place if only to keep other pets from being injured. My golden retriever has been going to Soi's Pet Salon for years. She has never really liked going but I always just assumed she did not like being groomed in general. Today I went to pick her up after being there all day and as I walked in with my 4 and 6 year old the owner had her pinned down by her neck and was repeatedly slamming her head and face with the back of a grooming brush. I yelled at her to stop and my girl ran right over to us. I could not believe what I saw and my 6 year old was crying and so shaken up we grabbed her and left immediately. I want to spread the word so that people are aware of what is going on at Soi's. No matter what our pets do or do not do for a groomer or anyplace they go for a dog service they should be safe and cared for. If you have no patience or care for animals you should never be running a business catering to them. They might be okay but I'm not returning. Their lobby is completely filled with loose cats, who are all calm, but are walking around on the counters, sitting in the chairs. Parakeet cages in the cat examination rooms! It's cluttered with knick-knacks everywhere. If you are looking for Crazy Lady Lady decor, look no further. Dr. Leopard's diagnostic abilities are the best I've ever experienced. She goes above an beyond to ensure your cat is healthy and any issues that arise are treated completely. My cat had crystals forming in his bladder at the beginning of this year. Dr. Leopard was the third vet I visited about the issue and the only one to discover the crystals and to provide immediate treatment and advise on after care (diet switch). I really appreciate Dr. Leopard's communication. If she notices or suspects an issue or that something may be improved she will explain and provide solutions. Dr. Leopard encompasses the essence of a true veterinarian. Her passion for her work is prevalent in everything she does. read more

I hate to write a bad review but my cat is the one who suffered terribly because of this vet. My cat had an infected foot and other spots on her body. I took her to Cats Only when she didn't get better at my original vet. She said she would need to do a biopsy on her spots and gave me 2 antibiotics. Unfortunately I couldn't get an appt for the biopsy for almost 2 weeks. I called every day between then and my appt telling her staff that my cat was getting worse. Finally convinced them to let me bring her by to get looked at in between already scheduled appt. I feel like she thought I was being difficult and blew me off. I waited another week, still calling almost every day for help. Finally I took her to another vet who diagnosed her on the spot with the WORST case of Ringworm he'd ever seen. I was heartbroken that it was something so simple to cure yet was completely overlooked by Dr Leopard. Personally would NOT recommend her but I do think she's probably a good vet. It will take a month of dips and meds for my cat to get better now. Horribly sad over the whole situation and I do not feel like she took the time my cat required. read more

I went today for my 3 4month old kittens I found to have them spayed and netured. Walked in pressed the bell on the counter for assistance and this lady came out of a side room and busted looked at me and I told her I had appointments. She never smiled or said hello. Best friends for cats approved my applications for free service she looked and was questioning that approval even when the application/voucher stated it was approved. I just really felt uncomfortable because of her attitude and then another lady came with her cat and it was good morning and her assistant came over to help her with her cat. I started get nervous then. I he'd to sign a paper stating they check for ear mites and fleas and there would be an $8 fee per cat for a pill . I leave and stared to cry because of how I was treated. A few hours latter a lady called and said they had ear mites and fleas and it would cost$51 for a bottle of treatment and I said I couldnt afford that. She said to me will if the person who is smoking might stop buying cigarettes I could afford the bottle of ear mite medicine and the cats smell of cigarette smoke. Then she said they had to treat for ear mites because my cats were spreading them all over their clinic. I was so upset I told her I would find the money and hung up. I have had these kittens for only four months and have not notice excessive ear scratching and why could I not purchase ear mite drops from Wal-Mart .what would happen if I can't get the $51 by 3or 4oclock today when I'm supposed to pick them up are they going to hold them until I get it. I hope the doctor was kind to my babies and didn't show any difference between a paying customer and one who was on a gift of a free service. read more

Got my cat in the same day. My sweet lovable mild tempered cat turned into Satan's cat in the exam room. Dr. Leopard and Shania didn't blink just asked me if I wanted to gas mask her because with her serial killer attitude it's going the only way to examine her. They did and the exam went well. They were thorough with her examination and even cleaned her ears. Luckily she didn't have any too horrible found to be wrong with her. Just glad that I was able to find a place that actually cares about cats. This can be seen by the vet cats living in store which I can only assume were initially rescues or homeless cats. All the girls that I came in contact with were more then helpful and friendly. I feel like they have a great crew here and I will be returning for my cats needs in the future. I spent over $500 to see why my cat was sick and when I ran out of money I never found out what was wrong with him. All I was told was that she could run some more expensive tests on him. I felt like my cat could have gotten better results elsewhere .If I ever get another cat I will find a vet in Oklahoma City.I know the yearly exam and shots were three times higher there than I had paid in Oklahoma City. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Leopard and her staff. I have never met a more attentive and caring veterinarian, and will never take my cats anywhere else. I took my sick kitten Loki in, and we were treated as if we were family. A few days later (on a Saturday of course) his health went downhill, and I wasn't sure if he would make it. I called the emergency number, and Dr. Leopard literally stayed on the phone with me on and off all day/night until we were able to get him feeling better. This was after she only saw him one time! Loki ended up staying in their hospital for a week, and the staff was wonderful about letting me visit him. I was expecting an outrageous bill, but was absolutely shocked at how low it was. I would have paid 10x more if I would have taken him to Roserock per usual. If you're looking for a competent vet who knows what they are doing, actually cares about the well being of your cat, and has great prices, then this is the place to go. read more

Very rude customer service, their whole operation is based on taking in CATS for some kind of reason and yet they act like they don't have time for you, and that you are a crazy person because you want to make sure they are gonna take care of your babies. I had 2 kittens spayed and declawed at the same time, and they just acted like it was no big deal, like how dare I ask them any questions regarding the procedures. The lady at the front desk is a total bitch, and she acted like she didn't even want to do her JOB. Bottom line, I will never go back there again... EVER!!! read more

This is the best care you can get for your loving feline. Dr. Leopard is incredibly skilled and intuitive. She is patient and will listen intently to help diagnose concerns though she may come off as abrupt. It's just her way and she knows her business! I was referred to this clinic years ago after taking my diabetic cat to the vet clinic I had used for years. Later, I received a phone call from an employee within that office warning me that my cat was on the wrong insulin and I needed to immediately get my precious to Dr Leopard. The staff at Cats Only got us in within hours. I was very lucky to have had this intervention and referral as that my cat lived a happy, healthier life for several more years after being put on the correct insulin and prescription diet. Dr. Leopard does a tremendous amount of work for the community with various programs and rescues. This is not the least expensive clinic in town. There are always low cost or no cost community programs for immunizations and spaying/neutering. If all else, go to Dr. Leopard at Cats Only if there are major concerns with your kitty. I would trust no other with my cats like I do her. read more

My cat became lethargic and unresponsive one morning last week at home. I took him to the closest vet (University Animal on E. Lindsey) but even though they have 2 doctors that practice there, none were available for another 4 hours. I had my cat declawed by Dr. Leopard and was satisfied, so I ran him all the way across town to her. She was in surgery, but they offered me to drop him off and they will call me. Dr. Leopard called me herself a couple hours later informing me that he had a urinary blockage and he was circling the drain when I had brought him in so she rushed him into surgery and removed the blockage. She kept him for 3 days on observation, but she called me herself (not the office staff) almost every day to give me updates and kept me in the loop the whole time. I never once wondered "I wonder whats going on?" I got the bill and it was much lower than I had imagined considering a 3 night stay, emergency surgery, and a $40 bag of food added to it. I can't recommend her enough. She literally saved my best pal's life. read more

Would not choose another vet for our cats. Used many vets over the years in Norman. Dr. Leopard has always been available in all of our needs and we have had several scares along the way. We have found the staff supportive and we have always been encouraged to stop by to see our cat on a daily basis when they have been hospitalized. She will tell what is going on and not sugar coat things. Sometimes this rubs people the wrong way, but better to know what you are getting into for the terms of care. read more

Hello, I don't do this often but felt I needed to say something about one of the "Cats Only" staff. The tech that talked to me and helped educate me a great deal was Sarah, and although I must have been a real pain she none the less took the time with each call ( I think there were at least 6 or 8 over a week period) to help me with my best buddy Bootsie, and listen to my concerns for him. She was very well informed, very kind, and offered her time to try to calm me down even during a busy day. My cat is terrified of people and Doctor Leopard always tries to weigh bringing him in or not when he has issues, considering if the stress of an office visit is going to make the situation worse or not, which I hard to do over the phone with a crazy cat lover giving details. Anyhow I tried to catch him most of the week ( we have a very large outdoor enclosure with trees to get in and many hiding spots) and although we had several "drop off " then evaluation dates planned during the week , Bootsie just didn't go along with any of them. Then finally I did catch him..............wow so glad I can get him to the doc and Sarah knows the history so we are good to go. NO not so fast on the way there in my happiness that he would soon get help we got into a slight fender bender just as we got to the bridge overpass. Car drivable, ticket for failure to pay attention ( yep they have those) banged up wrist, but Bootsie even though the carrier was strapped in, got a little more shaken up then he already was. Had to go to minor emergency for me, hubby came and took Bootsie home( couldn't get him to bring him to the clinic my job he says) , but we were AOWL from Sarah again! Long story short Bootsie is eating a little wet food, not peeing as much, and seems like he may have made it past this crisis car accidents and all. I am watching him closely and hope doctor Leopard and Sarah will forgive us for not showing up. I hesitate to write this review because Dr. Leopard does a lot of great work for Hands Helping Paws, a fantastic cat-centric animal rescue based in Norman, but we had a similar issue as Michael G. below with incorrect diagnosis and treatment of our cat that led to his death in 2008. We also filed a complaint with the vet board, but Dr. Leopard was able to convince the investigator the issue was with billing, when that was not the case. (Yes, we believe we were overcharged for work done incorrectly/unnecessarily but the main issue was the misguided treatment.) There were several signs that I should not have ignored, including that after being in their care, hospitalized, for over a week, she didn't recognize our beloved cat, or us, when we returned just a few days later after a relapse. (I've worked in a vet's office, and very ill, long hospitalized pets are not that common.) I talked myself out of my fears with "she's busy" etc., and foolishly thought that, since he had gotten slightly better during his first hospitalization, continuing his care with the same doctor was the way to proceed. Unfortunately, we never saw our boy again. She advised emergency surgery, done on a Saturday, and we expressed a lot of concern that he would then be alone in a closed clinic after major surgery, asking if we could care for him at home, stay with him during recovery or postpone until better supervision would be available. We were told none of that was an option and he died, alone, in a cage, sometime during the night. We know this only because when we called to check on him as soon as the clinic opened Monday morning, we were told, quite callously, "Oh, we came in and found him dead." The exact scenario we had discussed fearing most. (Him dying alone, in pain, and feeling abandoned.) The clinic did NOT contact us, and we didn't hear from even a vet tech until after noon despite repeated calls and requests. read more
