We have officially terminated our relationship with this company following repeated incidents of unfulfilled instructions and safety violations. The owner, Jennifer, called to address these final issues. Her exact response was, "I'm sorry we cannot meet your level of service." To be clear, the "level of service" we expected was simply that our cats' litter box be cleaned, our basic safety instructions be followed, and unauthorized guests not be brought into our home. This is not an extreme expectation; it is the baseline requirement of professional pet care. Our issues began during a prior booking when a sitter routinely brought her young child into our home without our prior knowledge or consent. Our home is not childproofed, making this a significant liability and a violation of privacy. I brought this directly to Jennifer, expecting no future protocol violations. Unfortunately, our most recent trip proved that oversight remains a systemic issue. We returned home at 11:00 AM immediately following a scheduled final morning visit to find the following conditions: Neglected Sanitation: The litter box was entirely full with no fresh litter added. It had been neglected long enough that our two cats resorted to urinating and defecating on the floor outside the box. Safety Protocol Ignored: We explicitly instructed that the cats could enjoy the lanai during visits, but must be brought inside with the lanai door securely shut upon departure. Leaving this open during a Florida summer is a severe heat hazard. 9 to 5 Pets completely ignored this safety directive. Lack of Home Maintenance: Dried cat spit-up was left on the floor for days, indicating the sitters were not actively inspecting the living spaces. HOA Non-Compliance: Basic requests to return the garbage cans to their proper place were ignored. They were left out for days, resulting in an official warning from our HOA. Every instruction violated was clearly outlined in our routinely updated online profile. Jennifer's dismissive response proves that 9 to 5 Pets does not take accountability for failing to meet basic industry standards of cleanliness, safety, and communication. If you require a service that respects your home boundaries and ensures the baseline well-being of your animals, I cannot recommend this company.

Now I use her to take care of our teenage tomcat when we have to be out of town for more than an overnight trip. When she visits our little furry friend, she feeds him and tops off his water bowls. She also check both his litter boxes (one inside & outside). On top of all that, she hangs out with him for an hour and plays with him in attempt to wear him out. She hasn't succeeded at that last part just yet. She's more affordable than the vet and our kitty gets to stay in the comfort of his own environment. Nothing better than that. If we ever move away from the beach, our little boy will be sad to lose his friend.

I contacted Dog days & Cat naps. I was surprised when the owner JP answered the phone. After a long conversation , all he had available on short notice was a 30 min drop in session with Lora. I couldn't be happier with her services. She was on time and followed what we talked about to the exact point. Because we had back to back trips I had to schedule a 3 hr in house pup- sitter. This time we had Kourtney she was always on time. She played, walked and gave Solo hugs and cuddles for their time together. Both Lora and Kourtney were great with Solo. Every time I go there, I see tons of smiles on parents and pups faces. It's like a preschool for your dogs. They offer day care services and boarding for all sizes, from luxury suits to small dog kennels, there is a place for all sizes. They have large LED screens located throughout the facility that have crackling fire place (in winter) or ocean screen savers (in summer)playing on the television along with ambient sounds or music playing softly in the background. There is a groomer on sight, who together with her team, can outdo Edward Sizzorhands that's how talented they are! From Nature Trails to at least 8 specialized outdoor play yards to Trunk or Treat parties and hand made personalized crafts and treats on holidays, you will feel like you are part of a happy family at Sawgrass Pet Resort. And why does it always smell so good when you walk through the doors? Seriously? Inquiring minds want to know how they do it? Are there magical fairies waving essential oils through the air? Does your dog need training or physical therapy? They even offer that!!! A one stop shop for everything pup. Can it get any better? Why yes it can. One last perk I want to mention (there are so many that I'm sure I'm leaving some out), there is a wonderful Vet clinic right next door. You can rest easy and have peace of mind that your pup will receive the best of care should a vet be required during their stay. That assurance makes taking vacations so much more enjoyable. Don't believe me? Just experience it for yourselves! The proof is in your fur baby's happy smiling face when you pick them up. If you can't tell yet that I highly recommend this place, well, I highly recommend this place. Keep an eye out for future community events and be sure to attend. That's when you get to go behind the scenes and really see where all the magic happens.

We researched multiple places and settled upon Pooches Playhouse because of their grassy play yards with toys, shady areas, and pools for hot days, colorful and welcoming facility, and social media presence. The best review though, is our dogs own! She absolutely LOVES going to Pooches Playhouse. Every morning when I head out to work, she begs us to go to daycare. The staff are all welcoming, friendly, and professional with the safety and happiness of each pup their top priority.
