I came in with about three months of natural grow-out and asked for a dark blonde that softly fades…read moreinto a lighter blonde. During the consultation, I was told my natural root color was already the perfect shade for what I was going for. However, a root smudge was applied that made my roots noticeably darker than my natural color, and the bleach was brought very close to the root. This resulted in a much higher-contrast look than what I requested, and not the soft, blended, lived-in blonde I was going for. I understand that a root smudge can come out a little darker, but I don't understand why a root smudge was done, or why bleach was put so close to my roots when I specifically asked for it to gradually fade. Now it's much darker roots and a harsh line. I'm disappointed, especially because I specifically asked to keep my natural root color. I feel like this was done in order to charge the client more. I would recommend having a detailed consultation and clarifying exactly how close to the root lightener will be applied before starting.

I booked to have my makeup done for my wedding day and so glad that I'm no longer getting my makeup…read moredone by this business. So first, when I walked in the ladies at the front are not the most welcoming and kind of had a snide look on their face. Then after a "consultation" they booked me for my wedding day with no practice session? You pay so much to have a beautiful wedding and just want to look and feel your best I think it should be important to this business to make sure their clients get EXACTLY what they want & have it nailed down prior to the big day. Then two months before my wedding they call me to let me know that the makeup artist I booked is canceling our session because she will not be there (which is fine things come up) but they end the call with "Soooo do you have a backup plan or?" I'm sorry? Aren't you supposed to be offering me a "backup plan"? Guess not. Anyways, I've heard great reviews about this business and I just wasn't the lucky one that got a great experience dealing with them.
