The prices were very reasonable, and their selection of cat and dog items is amazing! Though I went for bird food, I did look around at their other items, as we do have a lot of cats. Laura (I believe was the lady's name at the register) was very friendly, and even offered to order a big bag of food for the bird, which I happily accepted. She took my number to let me know when it is in. They earned my business.

For more than 14 years, I took my best friend in the entire world -- my rescued Pitbull, Ramrod --…read moreto Rustic Pine Pet Lodge whenever I went away. And honestly, I couldn't imagine having ever taken him anywhere else. Fourteen years. Me, Ramrod, and Rustic Pine -- and it was a wonderful experience every single time. Patti and the team at Rustic Pine cared for my doggo best friend like he was their own. Scheduling, drop-offs, and pick-ups were always easy, and when life threw me curveballs, they were incredibly flexible and understanding. Rustic Pine's rates are refreshingly affordable compared to other local kennels, but their service and care are absolutely top-notch. I never once worried after dropping Ramrod off. Not even for a second. I always knew he was safe, loved, and in good hands -- and that if anything out of the ordinary happened, they'd call right away. But if I'm honest, Ramrod's really the one writing this review. Every single time I asked, "Do you want to go to the kennel?" his tail would start wagging uncontrollably. I think, in his mind, going to Rustic Pine was a little vacation of his own -- a place full of familiar faces, fun, and love. I trusted Rustic Pine right up until the very end of Ramrod's life. And if I could do it all over again, I'd trust them again -- every single time. The kennel was always spotless, Ramrod always came home happy and exhausted from his doggie adventures, and for 14 years, he couldn't wait to go back. Thank you, Patti and the Rustic Pine team, for loving my best friend like he was yours. I can't put into words how much peace of mind you gave me all those years -- and how grateful I am to have always known he was in the very best hands possible.
