I did extensive research before I decided on a Coton breeder. I followed Cathy's (and Mike's) website for a long time before I was ready to purchase my two fur babies. I live in South Carolina and made the flight out to Phoenix and onto Mesa to get my puppies when they were eight weeks old. Cathy and Mike encourage prospective buyers to visit their home and meet their dogs. Cathy and Mike are very responsible breeders and their puppies are held and loved from the day they are born. Cathy posts weekly videos of the puppies until they're eight weeks old, and it is so cool to be able to see your puppies growing right before your eyes! Cathy offers excellent advice and follow up. They recommend PawTree food for all their dogs (please look this up on line, PawTree is excellent food). I've had my two sisters for almost two years now and they're in excellent health, have wonderful loving personalities and soft beautiful coats. After doing a lot of research on the breed, we contacted Michael & Cathy. We bought 2 puppies 9 years ago and are glad we did. They are the best dogs. We were very impressed with how they had been raised in the home like part of the family. They really take care of both their adults and the puppies and treat them really well. They feed them pawtree products which are of very high quality, and introduced us to them. Our dogs coats and health have improved since we started using them. We've never had any problems with "the boys." The whole buying and selection process was pleasurable and the puppies are well cared for. We love our dogs so much that we acquired one of their retired females about 18 months ago and she has fit right in. We love her. Love this breeder! Cathy from Cathy's Coton Cuties is just an awesome and kind individual with a great breeding line of Coton de Tulear's. When I was starting out as a breeder she was an incredible mentor. She is a natural. When I went into the hospital she was an unexpected friend and helped me from across the country (without meeting me) in placing/selling my Coton litter without being paid a dime! Even when I insisted she took no profit. Cathy and her husband Mike are good people with loving and very healthy dogs. After 2 years of research and interviewing Coton breeders we have purchased 3 puppies from Cathie over the last few years. I have visited her home in AZ twice and met all her dogs. Cathy and Mike are really wonderful. Their pups are their family members and when you adopt one of the pups, you become a part of the family too. They provide advice on training, care, any health issues that come up, and have a lot of resources for us when we need a product or a service. They also provide boarding to any of their adoptees (if you're local). The cost was $2500, and all initial shots were included. Because we use the same system they do, it made the potty training a snap. Highly recommend!!!! read more

I purchase 2 Cotons from Cathy and Mike in September 2017. They are wonderful. I've had genetic testing on both females completed and they have no genetic issues. Eyes and heart cleared by the OFA as well. EMBARK Genetic testing also verified them to be 100% Coton de Tulear.
