The staff were extremely friendly as well. Second, they were able to give both my dogs their medications while they stayed. They also have an Instagram that they update frequently so we could check in on our babies. I usually get a lot of anxiety when I leave my dogs anywhere new, but I felt relatively at ease with my dogs here. I will definitely have my dogs stay again for daycare or boarding and will likely look into the training program as well.

I have…read morefostered dogs for several local and non-local rescue groups including Valley Dogs, but what strikes me most about Valley Dogs is the animals they choose to pull from the shelters. Valley Dogs is run by a man named Michael West. From what I've observed, Michael chooses to take on the dogs that need the most help medically - the dogs hit by cars, obese owner surrenders, pregnant owner surrenders, older dogs with big hearts (figuratively) and medical conditions... I am not sure how he manages to finance all of this. Valley Dogs holds a few fund raisers through out the year, but I know the cost to get his dogs in good enough health to be adopted must be daunting. I can see the stress in his face every time I see him. However, he keeps pulling dogs in great need from the shelter because I don't think he can turn away. All of Valley Dogs rescues are fostered before they go up for adoption. This is a fantastic thing. Michael takes on a lot of these dogs. There is always a beautiful and kind red head (his wife?) that is with him at the adoptions and an older veteran as well. They foster a lot of the dogs, too. They know the quirks and idiosyncrasies of each of the dogs they foster. This helps with placement. I love this group. They are human, but they must be hidden angels because the dogs they are helping are the ones most definitely the most in need. They are very often at the PetsMart on 20th and Highland on the weekends trying to find homes for their dogs. If you see them and want a specific type of dog, I would imagine they would scour the shelters for you

She was food aggressive, she was aggressive with our family - bit all of us at least once - attacked our other two dogs and literally went to the bathroom wherever she preferred. I'm not one to give up on dogs but knew that if we kept her we needed help! We decided that if we were going to work with one of our dogs - we'd also work with our other naughty dog to retrain him of his bad habits. IN THE FIRST SESSION we saw significant changes in their behavior! She is so knowledgeable, so professional, and she got my kids involved so they know what to do! We just finished our last session and I'm so grateful to her for all of the tools she's given our family to help our dogs be the best behaved versions of themselves! We moved away earlier this year and were so SO bummed to leave such a great training and caretaking provider. All of her team is prepared to deal with difficult dogs and help reinforce good behavior, so all of our lunchtime visits included built-in training for our little pups. The team also sent photo updates and left detailed report cards every single day without fail. Lindsey herself is such a boss when it comes to training and is so so patient and welcoming. All of her own dogs are super patient too and were incorporated into the training sessions to help our little pups get used to being around other dogs. This is a total scam and they are liars --they just want money. This started back in August 2023…read morewhere I paid to board my older pup and a foster pup because they were not getting along, IB K9 said the boarding date would be about a month out. Long story short, the same night I had requested for a refund when we had to cancel one of our foster dog's boarding after she hurt my older pup. They promised to send my money back. They never did. My older pup got sick after boarding and didn't learn anything basically; they were super communicative until my dog was boarded, then afterwards I had to keep reaching out to ask how she was doing and I got basically one photo during the entire time she was boarded. After I got my older pup back she seemed really sick, severely skinny and when I brought her to her vet, they expressed heavy concern with the facilities because she was clearly weaker and sick and I ended up breaking down crying from feeling so bad for doing this to her. I never even requested a refund for the harm they did to my dog ; I only asked for a refund on the dog that was NEVER BOARDED. I posted a review on Google a few years back when it all happened and in late July 2026, they replied to my google review telling me to reach out via email, only to tell me they won't refund me and state that it's part of the signed contract, but there was no such contract and they are absolute liars. I filed a small claims which they ignored; you can see in the affidavit attached where they tried to ignore / refuse to open the door and accept the served papers. I am now also posting all my interaction with them to warn anyone who is thinking of taking their dogs here. So bottom line is, if you want to traumatize your pup, waste your money, or never get your money back this would be a good place.
