If you, or someone you know, needs a good rheumatologist, I cannot say enough good about Dr. Raza…read moreHashmi. He is fairly new to Memphis, having been here less than a year. Because he is so new to Memphis, it is still fairly easy to get an appointment with him, rather than have to wait six or eight months with the more established rheumatologists in town. What I can tell you about my treatment with Dr. Hashmi is that he is one of the kindest and most compassionate physicians with whom I have ever treated. He is very thorough and leaves no stone unturned. I am usually in and out of his office within an hour's time. I would opine that he is super smart in the field of rheumatology, and I trust him exclusively with my care. He is indepth and explains everything in a way that anyone who is not familiar with medicine can understand. It is clear that he wants only the best treatment for me. Aside from all this, his office staff is very congenial, professional, and equally considerate, compassionate, and treats me with dignity and respect. This is how every patient deserves to be treated, and you will find that with both Dr. Hashmi and his staff at Cresthaven Internal Medicine. Go see him and tell him I referred you.

This office seem pretty outdated. They had laptops propped up at the desk asking for reviews. I…read morefeel like that just gives people pressure to write them a good review since they are literally right there watching you. My apt was at 4 didn't get in the room until 445 then had to wait more. Dr Woodbury literally came in for 10 mins and was talking fast and then I was done. He said I need to get a biopsy but needs insurance precert and said he can do it early next week. But a staff said nope it'll be more like Thursday. I feel like they need to communicate with each other and not just tell me random days. I felt rushed since I was probably the last patient of the day. Idk if I'll be back.

Dr. Woodbury identified multiple factors by an in-depth history & exam. He did NOT say " it's stress , sorry " He is compassionate & gave me a clear treatment plan, including lab I needed & why. I've had 3 PICC IV lines, prior to that, multiple IV sticks. Kristen is amazing & obtained by lab work no problem! At the SAME appointment he took the time to evaluate concerning skin lesions, which were also treated. Shelby RN is fantastic! I have seen multiple Drs for months. They've ALL said sorry bout your hair. I feel like Dr Woodbury looked at the whole picture including medications " other DRs" had prescribed. He understands the impact of my extreme HAIR LOSS & I feel so confident about my treatment. Thank you Dr Woodbury, Kristen , Shelby & Tina

My daughter and I have both been patients here and I have to agree with the other review. I have…read morehad exactly the same thing happen. We were driving 2-3 hours to get to her office and they wouldn't even call to cancel. Then they always blame the patient for not being there. When I applied for disability, they wrote down I was improving even though I was getting worse because I hadn't been there in 6 months but this wasn't by choice, it was cancelled appointments and then they wouldn't reschedule in a timely manner. The office staff is incompetent. What really gets me though, is after being a patient of hers for about 8 years, we moved. At our last appointment, I asked her for a referral to a rheumatologist closer to us for my daughter and told her it would take about 6 months before she would get in. She said she was going to start her on Humera and would do the paperwork to get her started for her next appointment in a month. When I called to see if she had been approved for the Humera, they said they didn't even start the paperwork and since she will be changing doctors, the new doctor will have to do it. My daughter is hurting and now she will have to wait at least 6 more months before she can get new medications. Of course, they didn't bother to tell us this. They would have let us drive the 3 hours to her office, wait 2-3 more hours to be seen, only to be told they aren't doing anything because she is changing doctors. Maybe if she didn't schedule 10-15 people for the exact same time slot everyday she would have time to treat patients like people instead of $$$.

I had not been since last June and my prescriptions were running out. I called for an appointment and was given one but they called and cancelled it. I made another for 10:00 A.M., they called and asked me to come at 2:00 P.M. I drove all the way to her office, parked, signed in and had a seat expecting to wait. They called me up to desk and told me she was not coming in at all. I asked why I was not called. They shrugged their shoulders and said it was not their fault. As I was leaving my phone beeped with a voicemail!!! A couple of weeks later I called for refills, they said okay we will give this to the nurse. The next day the nurse called and said the doctor would not call them in unless I made an appointment and first available was in August. I told her about my cancellations and I would make the appointment for August if she would call in my med to last me until that time. She said hold on. When she returned, in an abrupt voice she said "you have not been here since last June" and I ask her whose fault was that. She said it did not matter, the doctor was not calling me in any meds unless she saw me, do you want the August appt. I said "NO" and hung up I was so angry. Now I must try to get my PC doctor to call in the meds but he does not want to because it is not his field. I must now try to find another Rheumatologist because I have Lupus and RA and am in constant pain. I don't think they were fair by not even asking the doctor, just assuming when it was not my fault that I could not see her because she had cancelled on me.
