I'm kind of sad I haven't reviewed Cathouse Pizza yet! I've been in the Snohomish area for about 2 years and the first meal we ate in our new house was Cathouse Pizza and Cat Bread. We go here occasionally - maybe once every couple months, because it's just plainly the best pizza in the area. They use good quality ingredients and have a thin-ish, crispy crust. It's cool that, even as a small business, they bother to use online ordering. My wife and I have this thing that we do - where she'll order stuff online and I'll go pick it up. It makes it so I don't have to think, and she gets her order right every time. So convenient! Our order usually runs about $35 an extra large pizza and cat bread (cheese bread). So, it's not cheap - but it's well worth it. I've talked to the owner and he was really interested in our experience with online ordering - I wasn't very familiar with it, but it works and my wife likes it. It's always nice to know that people care about your experience, though. Anyway, I've never actually eaten at Cathouse - they have a smallish restaurant with maybe 12 tables and a bar. Sometimes they have tables outside during the summer, too. It's sort of "divey" decorated - a little dark inside with Seahawks stuff all over the walls. read more

The food is mighty tasty, just ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and it hit the spot. The atmosphere is very relaxed, a couple of tvs for the sports nuts, both beer and hard alcohol, what more could you ask for? The service was exceptional, the young lady that waited on me did a most excellent job taking care of me and I look forward to doing this all over again. read more

Our book club met here for our monthly meet. Free parking can be found on the street. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Tabs were easily and accurately split. Indoors is small and not really ideal for large groups. Cathouse also offers a small bar area. During our visit, Cathouse served several families. Happy Hour is offered in the bar and family dining area on Sunday-Thursday from 4pm-6pm and on Friday-Saturday from 3pm-5pm. Happy Hour discounts are applied to draft beer, wine and well drinks. Appetizers are $1 off during happy hour. Cathouse offers a nice selection of local draft beer. My bestie ordered a pint of Cathouse IPA (Lazy Boy Brewing) and I ordered a pint of Black Raven Trickster for $3.50 (hh) each. My bestie and I shared the Bruchetta appetizer for $6.95 (hh): crostini (8 pieces), pesto, mozzarella, roma tomato and fresh basil drizzled with balsamic. Our appetizer was visually appealing as well as appetizing. We were both happy with this light flavorful starter. For our main course, we shared a personal pizza (12" - 8 slices) for $15.25. I like that pizzas can be ordered 1/2 and 1/2. Makes sharing that much easier. My bestie chose her half to be Maui Wowie (3 cheese blend, Italian red sauce, Canadian bacon and pineapple) and I chose my half to be Cathouse Supreme (3 cheese blend, Italian red sauce, pepperoni, salami, sliced Italian sausage, sliced mushrooms, black olives, fire roasted red peppers and whole roasted garlic cloves). The pizza crust was nice and thin and the toppings plentiful. We both enjoyed our pizza choices. Our server was friendly and efficient. Overall, Cathouse is a great place for families to share some tasty pizza together. read more

Cathouse Pizza is a cute little place in Downtown Snohomish. We went to visit a friend in this area, who suggested this place. He can't eat dairy, but he says they always do a great job of accommodating his dietary restrictions. The restaurant is on the main street and it was really easy to find. However, parking was difficult. All of the street parking in this area is free, but there were no spots available. We had to circle the area several times before we could get a spot. My husband and I split a medium pizza and a salad, which was a good amount of food for two people. We ordered the Apple, Bacon, and Goat Cheese salad. It came with spinach, candied walnuts, and balsamic dressing on the side. The salad was ok, but nothing special, so we would probably order a different salad next time. It did come with a warm breadstick which was pretty tasty. We ordered a Margherita pizza, which had their three cheese blend (White Cheddar, Provolone, Mozzarella), olive oil, fresh mozzarella, cooked roma tomatoes, and fresh basil. I thought the pizza was great and we ate every piece! All of their pizzas have New York Style thin crust. read more

I really want to give this 3 1/2 stars so consider this a solid 3. I hope to come again and upgrade to a 4. We started off with the meatball appetizer based on another review on yelp. They came out and didn't look super great but we were hungry so would have eaten them. Then another person brought us a second order acknowledging that the first one wasn't right. The second one looked much better. The cheese was so much more melty and they looked truly baked as noted on the menu. We also go the cheese bread with a side of marinara. It was a good combo and I really liked them. Finished off with a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza. My 1/2 was sausage and mushroom. The mushrooms weren't baked on the pizza but seemed to be added a bit later in the process. I like them more baked on personally. But, when I reheated it later it was perfect!! Will definitely come back and try another kind of pizza or something with fries because their fries looked really good!! read more

Stopped by for lunch after a quick ride on the trail and was excited to see that they served NY style pizza. It's a, seat yourself, kind of place and the service was a little slow going at first, but they were busy and everyone was nice enough, so whatever, no biggie. We were starving so we ended up ordering breadsticks, meatballs, and a half and half pie. The meatballs weren't too spiced up, the texture was nice, and the marinara sauce they were in was pretty good. The cheesy bread was good, but almost too much cheese for me. The pizza was 1/2 sausage & mushroom and 1/2 meat lovers. I liked the sausage half better, but the meat lovers was fine. Some people may not agree, but I feel like there was too much cheese and toppings on the pizza. The thin crust was pretty soggy in the center and we had a hard time picking up the slices. It got messy quick and a lot of the toppings ended up on the plate. I will say that the pizza did heat up very well the next day. We heated up a few slices in the oven until the crust was crispy and the cheese was nicely browned. Next time I will ask for light cheese and maybe get a pizza with less toppings...but I guess sausage and mushroom isn't really a lot. Hopefully the light cheese will keep the middle of the pie from being a soggy mess. read more

Hubby was out of town this week and I needed an easy dinner (preferably with leftovers!). I didn't think twice when my son suggested Cathouse. They are one of very few places that deliver to our house and we love them! My daughter isn't the biggest pizza fan (shockingly true, much like our son isn't a cheese fan...I don't understand!). I ordered her the manicotti with creamy marinara sauce (multiple sauce options). It also comes with cheese bread and a side salad (house or Caesar) that I usually swipe ;) My son loves pepperoni pizza so we always get Pile High Pepperoni in some form. The pepperoni was definitely more "pile high" than it's been in the past so this was awesome. We did an XL 1/2 1/2 with BBQ Hawaiian and he and I both enjoyed that pizza in it's entirety (seriously...bbq sauce, bacon, Canadian bacon and pineapple... bliss). Honestly I think we have had nearly every pizza offered so it's always tough to narrow it down but another fave is the Thai Chicken pizza. Delivery was fast and friendly and with a new (to me) online ordering system I could see the progress of our order, which was helpful! thanks for another great experience Cathouse! My band was playing a gig in downtown Snohomish a couple of weekends ago and I had to park a few blocks down from The Oxford Saloon. I asked my buddy dude that smells really good? It was coming out of the cat house pizza! A couple of people told me you should go there and eat the pizza is amazing.. fast forward to date night tonight. I called and placed a pick up order to go. Even with the extremely loud noise in the background my order taker got the order right. Got the New Yorker style pizza and one Maui wowee. It's been along time since I've tasted fresh out of the brick over pizza. When I went to pick it up the place was rockin and everyone seem to be having a good time. This is one of my go-to places for pizza delivery. Their Manhattan is to die for if you are a carnivore like me. Delivery is always punctual and their service is absolutely excellent. I've never eaten inside the restaurant itself, so I can't speak to that experience, but the pizzas themselves are really, really good. Having said that, their prices are a wee bit on the steep side for my taste, so I don't order from them as often as I otherwise would. read more

The pizza has a nice crisp thin crust. The pepperoni is tasty! The cheese is quality and the sauce was great. We also did an order of wings and they were awesome. They were cooked perfectly! Just crisp on the outside but not over done meat. They also sauce them nice and even, which to me I really appreciate and look for in wings. Overall, I would say you should give this place a shot. UPDATE: We ordered a pizza, steak grinder, house salad and bruschetta for delivery. All arrived at stated delivery time and still hot. My husbands grinder sandwich was hearty and delicious, just as he remembered it. We ordered half cheese/half Hawaiian. The pizza itself was just alright. I wish the sauce had more zest to it. Since half of it was for my kids, it really didn't matter. I really enjoyed my salad: artichoke hearts, salami, red onion...it was so good and fresh. Definitely get the Gorgonzola dressing. Yum! The star of the show however was the bruschetta. It really surprised us. Crispy bread slices topped with pesto, mozzarella, tomato slice, basil ribbons and a balsamic drizzle. That appetizer is now a "must order every time" from this establishment. We have only ordered pizza for delivery but have been ordering from them at least once a month for several years. Their delivery drivers are always on time if not a tad earlier than projected and very courteous. One thing you need to know is they only accept CASH TIPS so be prepared. We love their thin crust and have enjoyed just about every pizza on the menu. My favorite by far is the Thai pizza. Spicy peanut sauce, shredded carrot, cilantro, chicken...it's perfection. My husband ordered a grinder sandwich one time and he still talks about how good it is. I've also enjoyed their salads...so fresh and perfectly dressed They do offer gluten free crust but we haven't tried it yet. read more

I so wish cathouse pizza was more consistent. It's close and convenient and sometimes their pizza is really good. But there's so many times when they've completely ruined a perfectly good pizza by burying it under cheese. And after tax tip and delivery that's about 40 bucks down the drain. This last time it was so disgustingly cheesy it was an inedible gloppy mess. Every time I place my order I specifically ask for light cheese blend..sometimes they listen and other times well... Ok. So I love pizza! I love Woodfire pizza! Cathouse isn't wood fired but the is the on the top of my list for oven pizza. The crust is the best I have ever had, oven or wood fired. The cathouse supreme is, I hate the word but awesome. We had Alfredo sauce which we normally do, perfect pizza. Try it and if you don't like it go to Pizza Hut. Just ordered the meatballs. Wait, what?!? I'm giving a five star review to a pizza joint on the touristy antique store strip in old-town Snohomish?!? Yes, yes I am. And I'm as flabbergasted as you. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting much. The place looked a little smokey and stuffy from the ovens, and I mistrust sports-bar decor. But it was clean and well-attended by locals, not just tourists, which is always a good sign. We started, after drinks arrived, with a delicious salad of apples, walnuts, chicken, spring greens and a tangy vinaigrette. It was full of goodies, properly dressed and big enough to share or be a meal itself. We were definitely in sharing mode, and loving it! Next the meatballs arrived, bubbly hot. I should probably explain that my gal and I have a thing about meatballs. We believe the humble meatball can be beautiful, even elegant, and we kind of geek out on them, dissembling and waxing poetic over the minutiae of them embarrassingly at restaurants. We are always on the lookout for the best. Usually, they're disappointing in some fashion... The meatballs here are SUBLIME. Even-textured, toothsome but not over-worked and tough, spicy but not overbearing. Generous but not dauntingly-sized, perfectly matched with a savory, balanced marinara. We asked for sautéed onions and mushrooms with ours, and so should you. I will be going back to Snohomish JUST for these meatballs. So good! Relationship tip: always give your sweetie your extra meatball. (Anything that makes my wife smile like that, she gets!) We got a little pizza to satisfy our curiosity: their Thai pie; and we were very happy we did. The crust was cracker-thin, perfectly cooked. Their peanut sauce is a sweet counter to the spicy sri racha and crunchy carrot, sprouts, savory basil and chicken bits. This is pizza as a side-dish, a bit of crunchy, savory bread on the plate to go with your salad, but the larger meatier pies on the menu could easily be center-stage entrees. Next time I'm there, I'm going to try one. This crust will make any thin-crust lover weep with joy! Brilliant. Service was a bit shy maybe, but pleasant and prompt. Drinks were on point: generous, tasty (if slightly foo foo), unique house cocktails, and a good beer selection with notable locals well represented. The prices, given the quality on the plate, were an excellent value. This place is so good, I kinda wanna keep it to myself. I am in downtown Snohomish it is a quaint little town with lots of downtown shopping.It is my lunch break and I need something to feel this stomach.I came across this little joint as I cross the street walking down one side of the block. So I came in and I ordered me a slice of pizza ia Maui Wowie which is pineapple and ham for those who are from Chicago. I have to say the pizza was very good it was thin crust and a good size slice with pineapple and haveI am ordering a second slice of just cheese based on my response of the First Slice. This place has obviously pizzas you can build your own they have appetizers they have salads grinders and pastas come check this place out... So so so good! Love the thin crust, perfect ratio of sauce to cheese to toppings. I also love that you can do half and half at no additional charge. I feel like a lot of places don't do that. I have been here two times and I think there's pros and cons here. The first time it was just my wife and I and the second time we were with the kids. Always try to give the establishment a second try when my experience was subpar the first time. Pros: Friendly staff with people smiling. They're welcoming and it's a little awkward to get past the tables to go in to order but you order and then sit down. The memorabilia on the walls is interesting to look at and I have a good time taking it all in. Great location for a pizza place as downtown Snohomish gives great views. Cons: The pizza... I think when you pick up a piece of pizza and the toppings, cheese and everything falls off that's not good. I thought maybe the pizza was the issue the first time, but we ordered a large pizza the second time and the again you cannot hold this pizza. You will need to lay it flat and eat it with a fork. Maybe this is the thin crust style, but when I'm using both hands, being careful and nothing but grease and all my toppings slide off. I don't think we'll be going back. read more
