When they are done with the visit you get an email with all of the notes from the visit and sometimes you get pictures as well of the dogs playing. This allowed us to go out late on a weekend night. He was immediately taken to animal hospital and advised had to be put down for fractured back and kidney issues. When asked for an explanation Randa immediately sent a refund saying upon my request, which was just for explanation. When followed up was told I can't sue because I signed a waiver, that it was my fault for boarding an older dog and not boarded before. I never made any accusations or asked for anything but an explanation. I'm so devastated I left my pet/family member in their care.

One has anxiety issues who eats everything (paper towels anyone?) and likes to poop/barf around the house from time to time. One has a bum leg who has 4 pills in the morning and 3 in the evening. And then a cat who can be severely aggressive when he wants something! I've had house sitters in the past and now that I've found Tails 2 Trails I hope to never lose them! Mary is an excellent communicator and I'm always able to get a hold of her. The dogs are happy to see her and get into their own routine when she arrives. She's watched them for over a week's length of time and as short as just a quick stop over if we are out too long for the day. I seriously trust her more than my own grandmother. I explained to call me at earliest convenience sane day if possible. They say : ok... They never called . I call again next day to hope to receive a call back. No text or call. The Dog Waggin gave my dog a full evaluation and even offered to help me out for two weeks as I was not able to take the dog home right away. I promptly paid and they watch her for two weeks while I managed my affairs at home. I was able to drive out and picked her up and take her home. The staff dealt with my million questions and many phone call to see how she was doing. :) very knowledgeable and I still call with questions whenever I am doubting my parenting skills. The young kid who owns this or whatever also lied to me. I asked about a room and what was going on inside because I could see it and he said nothing and it was being cleaned - that was not true and I could see dogs in there and they all looked so sad. He said we could not go in to see dogs because it would rile them up, also bullshit- you just don't want people seeing your shitty/ depressing rooms. Do not take your dog somewhere if you cannot tour the place - duh no brainer, hence why I feel silly I even came back. The last time we picked our dog up he wreaked of pee and had yellow paws and had to potty right away. I should have known better and actually feel bad I let my dog come here. He was never excited to come. They also do not let you come see inside which is super sketchy and the one time I was able to get a look it legit looked like a jail cell and the dogs looked sad. It's also not cool the workers just stay outside and watch. That is not normal and they should he interacting with the dogs , not staring from a window outside. My dog hated coming here and was never excited. We ended up moving to pampered pets and it's been nothing but amazing ! The workers are great, so friendly and constantly interacting with the dogs. They have TVs where you can also see them and a beautiful outdoor space. They even have a pool for swim lessons . Please safe yourself the trouble and your dog the trauma of coming here. My dog visibly gets excited and cannot wait to come to pampered Pets so also a sign I know he is being loved and treated well.

I adopted a rescue during Covid and it was very rewarding, but extremely difficult. She had been severely abused and although she is never aggressive or mean, she has issues trusting people. Rightfully so! But she absolutely loves dogs. I couldn't get her into a trainer because they said she needed to start with doggy daycare to socialize her which made sense. We were staying in the Schaumburg area (in town from California) and tried numerous doggy daycares and got rejected. No one would take her in because she was shakey around people. It was heartbreaking because I knew she had so much potential, but didn't know where to take her. When I found Playtime Pup Ranch, it was a good 30 minutes from where we were staying, even though there were so many others near us we had tried, but weren't successful. But so worth the drive! I brought her in for her evaluation, awaited nervously for the call to see how she did, and when it came, I was shocked and overjoyed. They reassured me what I already knew but was starting to doubt, that my Winnie was such a sweetheart and absolutely LOVED dogs! Yes, she didn't care for people as much but they said that will take time and that she absolutely had a home here. We bought a package and I brought her as much as I could while we were home but sadly, we had to return to California a few months later. I still kept her package and when we come home for the holidays, I will absolutely be returning! I hate that we wasted time on other daycares and wish we would have found this sooner, but love that we found Playtime Pup Ranch. I wish we could find an equivalent out in California! The staff is amazing and so so friendly, they put the dogs and their needs first, and the cameras to watch your dog while playing is such a wonderful touch! It was astonishing to me that a dog who loved playing with dogs was getting rejected at doing so. Playtime Pup Ranch gave my sweet girl the chance she deserved and I watched her improve immensely!
