After first going to another electrologist, I received a stroke of luck when a friend recommended Cathy. Prior to trying electrolysis, I had waxed and tweezed. I also had some darkening of the skin in the areas where I had been tweezing, which had become quite noticeable and bothersome. While the first esthetician was very nice, I was a little concerned with the little sores I seemed to have after each treatment. After speaking to a friend, I decided to try another electrologist. I must say I was very pleased with Cathy's technique - no noticeable scarring on my face and her concern re: the condition of my skin. She is very sensitive to how you are doing during the treatment and checks-in throughout the session to make sure that you are not experiencing too much discomfort (she is treating individual hairs). While electrolysis does take longer than other methods of hair removal, I will say that it is well worth the wait. After going to Cathy, my unwanted hair is not just unnoticeable - IT IS GONE and my skin has cleared-up entirely. A friend recently commented on the absence of the dark spots I previously had on my chin. The business is in a great, discreet location. And, Cathy is a wonderful esthetician who makes you feel at ease and is really willing to work with you. I love that she is available seven-days per week and that she takes appointments all-day long from the morning until 7pm or so. Her skill in the flash thermolysis modality is top-notch and her treatments have been quite effective. Cathy is a knowledgeable practitioner! Not only does she listen to the needs of her clients but her experience allows her to make suggestions which will best care for your needs. I have Italian, Dutch and Spanish in my family line, two out of three cultures have darker thicker hair, naturally I wanted to have some area of hair removed. However I have a heavy metal allergy, which makes the skin irritated and inflamed. After working with Cathy for a few sessions she noticed the inflammation that set in post session and recommend a specialty product for me. I have been trying to find somewhere to get a consultation for electrolysis. I really wanted to try this place because it's most convenient for me. I called a couple months prior and left a voicemail. I never was called back. Last week I sent an email discussing that I still was interested in her services. Still, no one responded. I have had a lot of electrolysis over the years. Like a lot of women with my ethnic background, I have a lot of hair on my face, so I feel I have the basis for comparison and no one, but no one is better than Cathy Sansone at hair removal. I went to someone else for years and in the course of those years, experienced a lot of discomfort and really didn't get rid of all that much hair. I was shocked when I went to Cathy and realized how different the experience could be. I'd call electrolysis with her pain free and she moves fast so you don't have to go back twenty times to get rid of twenty hairs. I wouldn't go to anyone else. I wish I had found her sooner. If you need to have hair removed, this is the place to go. Don't even bother with anyone else. Everyone else I saw over the years left me with excessive redness and bumpiness after a treatment and took years to remove an amount of hair that should have taken a couple of months.
