Overall I felt this was a short wait compared to the times I've waited at other offices. The nurse and doc were friendly, helpful and explained what I needed to do at home. Usually doc and nurses are in a rush to see you out so they can see the next patient, but Dr. Shen explained my allergies to me, drew a diagram for me to see, I felt he really cared that I was suffering. The staff also wears gloves when handling bodily fluids or when touching patients. There are some hand sanitizers available for patients to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are sanitizing in between patients. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is decent. It can get full very easily and quickly because they share the lot with several other medical offices. Parking spots are a decent size. Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, and tidy. Staff: My first visit here as a patient myself wasn't bad, but this time, my mom was the patient and our experience was horrible! The staff here are very incredibly rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. Let's begin by discussing the receptionist. When my mom and I entered the office, we weren't greeted. The person answering the phone just threw the sign in clipboard towards us and motioned us to fill it out. When I told her that my mom was a new patient, she said, "Hey you! Come here and fill out the new patient form." When we were done filling out the form and we turned it in, the receptionist didn't even speak to us. She just used hand motions. How rude. And now for the crappiest doctor in the world, Dr. Ted Shen. This doctor doesn't like to listen to his patients and is incredibly dismissive. When my mom was trying to explain her symptoms to him, he cut her off mid sentence and said, "This has nothing to do with my area of expertise. You need to see a neurologist. Why are you here? I don't care because that is not my area of expertise. Stop complaining to me." When my mom then complained to him about her frequent stuffy nose, he was all like, "You need surgery to fix it. It's an easy procedure that takes 20 minutes. Yes or no?" What do you mean "yes or no"? When my mom and I tried to ask him about the risk and benefits of this surgery, he dismissed us. He said, "There is no need for both of you to worry about the risks. It's minimal. Both of you are asking too many questions. Stop wasting my time." WTF?!?! Plus, he didn't even take the time to look inside her nose to see what's wrong. How did he know that she needed surgery? Did this asshat just assume she needed nose surgery? What kind of shit medical practice is he running over here? He is also very arrogant. I told him I was a nurse, and I am taking my mom's symptoms and complaints very seriously. He then said, "Oh you're a nurse. Did you go to medical school for 12 years? If not, be quiet! You don't know anything!" Like wow! How rude, disrespectful, and condescending! He was also very impatient and rushing. When my mom wanted to tell him a couple more things, he kept one hand on the door knob trying to leaving the room. He also had the audacity to say, "Okay. Hurry up. Please shorten your story." Like wow! What an ass. He just seemed so annoyed and irritated when we kept asking him questions. *sigh* When he used the otoscope to look into my mom's ears, he was very rough. Also, when he used some medical device to take out some ear wax from my mom's ears, he was incredibly rough. He was so rough that my mom screamed out in pain. I told him to stop what he was doing immediately, and he called my mom weak for being unable to tolerate what he was doing to my mom's ears. Horrible bedside manners. I wanted to punch this guy in the face so badly in that moment. Do yourself a favor and do NOT see him. He's the worst doctor ever. My mom and I felt belittled after our visit. He's the doctor from hell. He seriously lacks compassion, empathy, and understanding. Dude is a massive douche bag. I honestly expected more and better from a doctor. This is probably one of the worst experiences / interactions I have ever had with a doctor. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

I brought my son to Dr. Shen for a breathing problem. He wasn't able to breathe properly through…read morehis nose and Dr. Shen found out right away that he had a deviated septum and blocked Turbinates. He suggested a regular use of Flonase and let me know that surgery was an option but that he wouldn't recommend it because my son is young, his body will change, that we should exhaust other methods before that step and that the turbinates were possibly inflamed due to allergies. To be honest, I wasn't satisfied. I had seen my son have issues breathing and I wanted a quick fix for him. I had a few friends with kids that had the same issue but they had surgeries to open up those turbinates instead. I actually went to a few more doctors for more opinions, three more and ended up realizing that Dr. Shen was right. He and one other ENT doctor (a highly recommended one) both said that surgery wasn't needed while the other two wouldn't budge from the surgery route and didn't offer the concerns that Dr. Shen mentioned. We began the Flonase the day of my first visit with Dr. Shen and after about a month, my son was breathing just fine. In fact, it actually happened a lot sooner than that. I am glad we were able to avoid surgery and am glad Flonase (we use Sensimist) is working. Such a simple fix but the patience to see it through was needed on my part. I think back now about how willing I was to put my son through anaesthesia and am slightly ashamed about it. The possibility of the turbinates growing again was high so it might have only been a temporary relief and at a high cost. I see that a few reviews are over Dr. Shen's bedside manner. Ok, I can agree that he is directly to the point about what he sees and what his experience suggests. I personally appreciate this style as I have another child with a chronic medical condition and could have saved a lot of headaches regarding her care if her original doctors had not been so wishy-washy about her treatments. I would recommend him to anyone though as he let me know he also has children and gives advice based on what he would do for them. Thanks for reading!

I delighted to share that my entire experience with the members of the facility was excellent. After I scheduled my appointment I immediately received a confirmation. Ongoing communication was provided up to the day of the appointment. Upon arriving for my appointment, I was met with a big smile and a warm welcome greeting by a receptionist. To my surprise and pleasure, the waiting room was not crowded. It was obvious that scheduled appointment times were respected. My wait time was short and I was quickly escorted to a room. The medical assistants greeted me warmly, and prepared the session for the doctor. I met with Dr. Jordan Sukys. He put me at ease from the time he entered the room, and provided stellar patient service through out the appointment. He reviewed my information, not only engaged me in communication but actually listened to me. He conducted a thorough evaluation, clearly shared the results, answered all my questions and identified a plan of action. Dr. Sukys really cares about his patients well being, which was reflected in the direction of the plan he set for me which includes further investigation of my issues. None of that, common day, nice to meet you, time for surgery stuff. I am grateful that I was referred to this facility and have Dr. Sukys as my doctor. I look forward to future appointments. I am confident that I will receive some answers and appropriate medical assistance in addressing my issues.
