Dr. Irasusta is a wonderful dentist and I'm so thankful to have found her. She is patient, knowledgeable and efficient. She clearly explains the treatment plan and let's you know exactly what is going on with your teeth and your options. The office also takes Denti-Cal (Medi-Cal). She is by far the best Medi-call accepting dentist j have been to. Her office is convenient, modern and is equipped with great technology. I never am afraid to have any dental work done at here. She always makes sure you are numbed properly and makes a point to tell you to tell her if you have any discomfort at all during procedures so she can stop and numb you more. I also can usually get appointments for soon easily. They also have gotten me in next-day for an emergency issue. The are not open on Friday and I wish they were. very flexible got me in early due to cancelations several times! over the top staff including the desk staff that greeted me as i came in for a very easy check in and i felt so comfortable around the back end staff! I promise if you have high anxiety dr will be very reassuring and kind/understanding. highly recommend this over western dental/ any place that you wouldn't know if your in good hands or not. read more

Although I have been with this doctor since I was a kid. I don't recommend her if you have under lying health issues. I have upcoming surgery and she made the incorrect mouth guard for it. She also failed to reach out to my stanford doctor and ask details how to make this. As a medical professional it's her job to obtain records. She failed me. So now I will have to postpone my surgery and find a new dental office. She made my guard based of that I said I need a mouth guard for surgery. She knows I have been with stanford since a kid and before didn't mind reaching out for records before but this time she didnt do that. Also she charged me and didn't want to do the correct thing and reimburse me so I will be reporting her to my insurance now. She stole my money. ​​ read more

great staff, they are friendly and they do a great job. Very happy with the work they have done on me so far.

The staff is polite and the office is well maintained. If you don't have a flexible schedule it can be hard to plan your appointments because the office frequently reschedules you at the last minute. The excuse we are given is that the dentist won't be in. If you are requesting time from work, this is really inconvenient. They also only play loud country Christian music and it is really unpleasant if you don't like country. read more

I've been on the search for a new Dentist and tend to steer away from dental chain groups or large offices based on my preference and experiences with dental offices. I did some searching on local providers and was pleased with the positive feedback prior patients and colleagues had to say. Dr. Catherine Irasusta has now been my new Dentist for just under a month and couldn't be more happy with my choice for a new Dentist. I've included some of the key things I personally pay attention to when visiting a office. I've been to the office about 4 times as of this review . - Office Cleanliness: The office waiting area/lobby has been very clean the few times I've been in so far as well as nicely decorated and inviting. And as of recent, nicely decorated with Christmas decorations and like who doesn't like Christmas Decorations during the happiest time of the year!? Magazines are also available to browse through while you wait which by the way (won't be long).. - Wait Time: This is always a make or break for an office. I'm pleased to say my last four visits have always been right on time as scheduled, my most recent appointment was even called back 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time which is a plus! - Office Staff: Dr.Irasusta has an amazing team! Starting with the front desk staff which are always friendly and great at explaining any questions you may have pertaining to your insurance/ and any out-of-pocket costs you may have. The dental assistants and hygienist are really great too! Overall have had great experiences with the staff. - Quality of Care: Most importantly, Quality of Care? Dr. Irasusta is extremely thorough in examining your teeth. She provides a clear treatment plan, answers and explains and questions/concerns you may have and she's also very friendly and personable! You will definitely take notice of how experienced and knowledgeable she is. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with my choice in leaving my Dental Care with Dr. Irasusta and her staff. If you're searching for a new Dentist or perhaps don't feel like you're getting the service in some of the key points I've noted. I have terrible anxiety when it comes to things involving dentists, and in general just a terrible experience with them in general. I did not have that problem here. I just came home from my initial look over, and cleaning, and by far the staff have gone above and beyond to make someone comfortable. They constantly asked how I was doing, if I was feeling alright, and asked if they needed to pause so I could get my bearings. They listened to my problems, talked me through what was what, assured me things would be okay, and just.. I've never been treated so well at a dentist. I'm sticking to these lovely folks, without a doubt! Of course they couldn't fix my immediate problem, which is a broken/chipped wisdom tooth, but happily referred me to an oral surgeon that I'll be contacting soon to have that fixed, and said to call them if I have any pain or problems. Setting up follow-up appointments was painless and easy, and were more than flexible with my whonky scheduling. Thanks everyone, you've really helped put my mind at ease. :D read more

They get you in the back quick , the front office staff is super nice and helpful, but once ur in the back u have to sit in the chair for a while before the doctor comes in sees u. But once seen everything is pretty fast and smooth. Totally recommend Dr. Irasusta office :) read more

This doctor is great and I have been with her for many years. However, today was not so good. A lot of cross contamination going on and a review on hygiene and hand washing would be beneficial for all staff including the doctor. Again she has a great bedside manner and otherwise has been honest and professional over many years. read more

First time great experience with my daughters. Back staff was friendly, Doctor Catherine was great. She was kind and took the time to list to my concerns. My only down fall was the doctor or nurses didn't talk to me about my teen after she was seen when normally their other doctor addressed everything to be after the visit even if there were no specific concerns. I went to Dr. Irasusta's office after nearly a decade of not having gone to a dentist because a bad experience scared me away. As a result, I ended up needing a few root canals and cavities taken care of. Dr. Irasusta and her hygienists were absolutely great. They're meticulous, friendly, and professional, and made me feel more at ease at a dentist's office than I've ever been in my life. The hygienist who did my yearly cleaning also got rid of the stains on my teeth that my previous dentist had told me were permanent. Worst experience eveeeeer!!! She literally destroyed my teeth! I've never experienced such horror in my life! I got fillings in January which my bite was off after, they told me to come back in, so she could fix it.. After going back in not only was my bite still off but I also experienced food being caught in between my tooth that would cause my gums to swell. They said come back she will fix it, I go back she has to now numb me because the swelling in my gums, she puts the needle so deep that I felt it touch my jaw bone. She did not fix the tooth, she shaved down my fillings so low, that I can not eat hard candy, my gums now bleed, eating sugary foods hurt, eating anything cold or hot is painful.. The simplest enjoyment of eating food is now a painful task for me. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy! I can't say enough great things about Dr. Irasusta and her practice! I came in for an emergency-type issue and she was wonderful, as was her assistant who I talked to about my fear of blood, germaphobia and dental procedures in general. She was amazingly understanding and gentle and talked to me at each step, as she performed the x-rays needed. Then, meeting Dr. Irasusta for the first time, she was calm and caring and explained her treatment methods in a confidence-inspiring but friendly manner, before she went forward. Afterwards, I decided to come back for my cleaning, and the hygienist who did so was also amazingly kind, caring and patient with me. I have truly never enjoyed going to the dentist, but can say had this doctor been my dentist long ago, I would have none of the dental fears/phobias which long persisted until now. I wish I was writing a better review of this place, but I just can't. (oh how funny, my phone just rang and they called me to tell me something I already knew) None the less... I need a bridge and it had to be approved through my insurance first. So they claimed as soon as Patty (the insurance) gal was back from vacation the following week, she would get on it and get me an answer. I called two weeks later, they still hadn't heard anything, another weeks goes by, same thing. Then, I am told I should call the insurance company and rush things along. Well, low and behold, the insurance company (who denied the claim, shock... dental in our society!) tells me, oh they just turned in the request and we answered them right away. So it was the dentists office dragging their feet the whole time not the insurance company. Shame on them... get some ethics and do you job... especially when it comes to peoples health, you can't lie and say it isn't your fault. SHAME SHAME... won't be back that's for sure! read more
