I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to share my experience. My issue is not…read morewith the medical care itself, but with the front desk/reception service. When I called to inquire about walk-in availability, the male receptionist who answered sounded as if he was half-asleep and was very difficult to understand. I genuinely could not make out what he was saying, so I politely asked him to repeat himself. Instead of clarifying, he responded in a blunt and dismissive tone. The whole interaction felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. To top it off, right as I was wrapping up the call and saying "okay thank you," he hung up on me before I even finished my sentence. That lack of basic courtesy left a really negative impression. Again, I have no complaints about the doctors or the actual care, but the attitude of the person answering the phones makes a huge difference in how patients perceive the office. First impressions matter, and this one was disappointing.

I have been a patient at LSFP for 25 years. This practice is a shadow of what it once was. The…read moredecline has been gradual, but steady, and has reached a point where I can't recommend avoiding this practice enough. Appointments now consist of basic questions and exams that barely touch the service of issues. My last physical didn't even include a hernia exam, and I'm a 39 year old male with a history of hernias. The nurse practitioners they have on staff are under-qualified at best. The front desk staff are rude, and the intake nurses are also unprofessional. This practice has lost any idea of what customer service means and seems to now be an appointment mill that bills your insurance for telling you to buy some Motrin and get some bed rest. Today was the last straw for us. My wife recently gave birth naturally and our OBGYN recommended we see our PCP for a referral for physical therapy for a month from now to help get her back on her feet and speed her recovery. We called and scheduled an appointment for this specific purpose with the front desk who confirmed that they could give a referral for PT. After waiting for an hour, my wife was seen by a family nurse practitioner that took her temperature and blood pressure, checked her height and weight, eyes and ears, and listened to her breathing. Then, without any examination of her pelvic floor muscles, said that PT 'wasn't indicated' at this time and we should come back for another appointment after our 6 week checkup with our OBGYN for ANOTHER appointment. She explained that we had been sent by the OBGYN to get a referral but the FNP refused to issue the referral and sent her packing. I went in to address this with the front desk and they gave me the run-around, then brought out a 'provider' who first said she had seen my wife but after having me explain the whole situation told me she was just the intake nurse, then asked me to re-explain the situation, then laughed when I said I didn't want to explain myself again and wanted to talk to the actual nurse that had seen my wife. All in all it was a nice hour and fifteen minutes absolutely wasted by the front desk and clinical staff because of their inability to listen and/or be upfront about what services they are willing and able to provide. To LSFP - if you can not or will not offer a service then perhaps your front desk staff shouldn't confirm the appointment for it. Your practice used to be great, and now it is a terrible place to go for care and competent customer service. I've had better customer service at McDonald's. Your front desk staff especially leaves a lot to be desired in the professionalism department. 25 years as a patient and I have never been treated the way I was treated today. We won't be back. Get it together.

When I came in I was scheduled to see the NP but I met Dr Trippel at the front desk. It's a small practice and they break things down into multiple appointments that maybe a larger practice would do in one, but this is better for me because it keeps visits short and sweet. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, which I also appreciate. The only issue is her nurse who can get a little on the nasty side, per my own experience with her and accounts from other patients.

I had an absolutely horrible experience with Dr. Laura Ispas at the Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology…read moreInstitute in Leesburg, Virginia. From start to finish, the level of unprofessionalism, disorganization, and outright hostility was beyond anything I have ever encountered in a medical setting. First, the front desk lost my referral. I later received an unexpected text about a $250 deductible, which I do not have to pay under my insurance plan. In an attempt to understand this text I called the front desk where they proceeded to hang up on me three times. Red flag after red flag. When I arrived for my daughter's allergy testing, we were forced to wait over an hour. When she finally came in, instead of focusing on my daughter's allergy concerns, she immediately wanted to discuss the complaints I had about her office. Mind you, by this point, I had already been waiting for an hour and 15 minutes. She outright refused to see my child unless I first told her how she could improve her business practices. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I insisted that the medical appointment be focused on my daughter and her needs. However, the doctor disagreed and continued to argue. Then, she actually refused to see my child, so I decided to collect my daughter's paperwork and that's when things escalated from her end. This is where my 15 years old daughter decided to intervene. My daughter told her how unprofessional she was behaving. Instead of regaining her composure, Dr. Ispas started yelling at my daughter too. At that point, I had to tell her to breathe and stop interrupting. I gave her two clear options: 1. Test my daughter, and afterward, I'd privately explain the issues I had with her office. 2. Refuse to see my child, and I would leave an honest review online. She made her choice. Upon exiting the lobby of her office Dr. Ispas started following us out into the hallway as she continued to yell. My daughter actually shut the door to her office upon exiting, but that didn't stop her--she opened it right back up and followed us down the hallway to the exit, only stopping when she realized my daughter was recording the entire thing. This experience was beyond unprofessional--it was downright hostile. No patient, especially a child, should ever be treated this way. If you are considering this office, run in the opposite direction. There are plenty of other allergy specialists in the area who actually respect their patients and their time.

I've been struggling with pain & undiagnosed chronic health issues for 2-3 years. In general, it…read moretakes MONTHS to get an appointment with specialists, get tests run, and honestly just have a doctor listen and be willing to order various tests. There's been a lot of doctors where I make an appointment while I'm in the middle of debilitating pain but they can't see me for a month, then a month later my condition isn't the same upon the time of appointment. The doctors can't recreate my symptoms on the spot in their office and because I didn't end up in the hospital, they determine that my condition is probably just stress/anxiety and they just order more blood work to "just be sure." I've had to redo this process at least 4 times over the last 2-3 years and I'm still experiencing chronic pain. At this urgent care, the doctor literally sat next to me and scrolled through recent blood tests that I had on my phone and reviewed them on the spot rather than asking me to send them to her directly, she was willing to look at the video recording I had of my muscles uncontrollable twitching, she did an ultrasound of my entire upper body on the spot, she had more blood drawn to get a few other tests done on the spot, she gave me an MRI order for multiple areas of my body on the spot without requiring me get referred to a specialist to get them and wait months, and literally addressed all of my concerns within a single visit. This process would have taken me 2-4months with specialists and my previous primary care physician. I do not yet have a diagnosis but having found a doctor who was willing to simply listen to my experiences, run tests, and attempt to address my problems in a timely manner after 2-3 years of chronic pain feels like a blessing. I literally cried after leaving from the relief. This urgent care is amazing 100/100

Fast forward to 2020, I noticed that my daughter seemed to be having allergy issues so I decided to seek out Dr Yoon again because his service was outstanding during my visit with him. I was happy to find that he opened his own practice in Ashburn so I scheduled an appointment for my daughter. The scheduling process was very swift and I was able to sign up to their patient portal on the same day with the assistance of the receptionist who was very friendly and helpful. I took my daughter to her appointment yesterday and was very pleased with the cleanliness, high tech equipment and aroma of the office. The women at the front desk were friendly and greeted us with a smile. We arrived about 15 minutes early and did not have to wait until our appointment time to be seen. Just as I had remembered, Dr Yoon was very pleasant and easy going. My daughter was found to be allergic to trees and cat hair. Dr Yoon was super informative, knowledgeable and gave us more than enough information on treating her allergies moving forward. He also gave us a good amount of sample products to take home with us. I highly recommend him for your allergy needs. He was willing, ready and able to answer all of the questions we had. He took his time and that alone shows that he's passionate about the work he does. I highly recommend his office.
