We Three hopped on to the Red Magic Trolley, which turned into a private Trolley Tour Ride (Thank You No-Shows..:). Our Driver and Tour Guide was Will. Will was a fun, knowledgeable Veteran. We saw "Chimney Rock", "Coffee Pot Rock" (not percolating at the moment..:), Camel Rock, Snoopy Rock, Teapot Rock (very celestial) stopped and toured solo "Chapel of the Holy Cross" (breath taking statue of Jesus, we also surprisingly found a Menorah Christmas Ornament..:), Courthouse Butte, Bell Rock Pathway and Castle Rock. Will also shared with us the history of Sedona, "The Founder, T.C. Schnebly initially wanted to name the post office "Schnebly Station" or "Oak Creek Crossing," but postal authorities rejected them for being too long. His brother, Ellsworth Schnebly, then suggested naming it after T.C.'s wife, Sedona Miller Schnebly, who was known for her kindness and hospitality. A fun informative Trolley Ride, Thank You Will!! I discovered Red Rock Magic Trolley from a Groupon I found online when researching tours in Sedona. I purchased the Groupon, and was able to book our tour for relatively early in the morning (before the weather got too hot). Two days before our tour, I receive a phone call from the company. The woman was very honest; she shared that they overbooked our tour by accident, and they are moving all the Groupon customers to later in the day when they have more availability. The only time that worked for us was 1PM (when it would be miserably hot). I agreed because they left us no choice, but we had to completely rearrange our plans for our trip to accommodate this last minute change. If you are going to offer discount rates, you cannot treat customers differently if they elected to use your discount. THEN, just a couple of hours before the tour, I got another call that the bus was having mechanical issues and that the tour was cancelled. This was our only day in Sedona, and because the tour was canceled only hours before, we were unable to book a tour with a different company. On top of that, we had to go back and forth with Groupon to get a refund because Red Rock Magic Trolley couldn't help us there.

There…read moreis not much on the north rim, so waking to a flat tire was not a great start to the day but Luck was on our side. it was a holiday so the only gas station was closed, but the owner just happened to swing by so opened up to give us air. After filling the tire, we were off to the next station for air, and the next, and the next...you get the picture. When we arrived in Sedona luck was with us again. We met Mike at Eaglerider Sedona and our troubles were over. Mike had one tire in his shop and it just happened to be the one we needed! His mechanic Chris, repaired the tire and did a complete check on the bike Giving us confidence the rest of our ride would be trouble free. What did we learn? If you want to rent a Harley do it in Sedona! The care and attention they pay to their bikes, making them safe and keeping them in great condition, along with there exceptional customer service ( thanks Mike for the discount rate info on the Marriott and thanks Steve and Chris for the great ride ideas). Equal Adventures: the pedal assist bicycles means that regardless of the skill of your group, everyone can keep up and enjoy the ride. No more worrying that you will hold up your group, or that you will be bored waiting for less skilled friends. Everyone has a blast and the E-Bike equalizes everyone's skill. 2. Access to the best views: with the bikes we were able to get to small quiet roads that regular tours can't get to. We got phenomenal views of all the Red Rocks from every direction! 3. Wonderful information: Susan is a fount of info about the rocks, area history, and current information about the best hikes and sights. After riding with Susan we did a phenomenal hike that we would never have found without her guidance. 4. Last, but not least, it is FUN! One thing I noticed is that we had lots of smiles and joy, while folks coming out of tour vans or in cars circling crowded parking lots were grim and stressed. I found that the tour was so interesting that my wife and I went out and bought 2E bikes so that we could try and duplicate and adventure that I know we will never be able to without Susan. So that we will return and do more tours with her and then use our E bikes to try to supplement the amazing amount of knowledge that she has. The staff are welcoming, informative and friendly. They give you important information - LISTEN TO THEM.
