I've never seen a BBQ joint take longer than 2 minutes in my life. The portion size was good and the brisket was solid, the sauce was alright. The potato salad was entirely without chunks, reminded me of baby food, not good at all. The fries, rice, and fried okra was good. I tried my buddies fried pickles and they were the worst I've ever had. All in all I have mixed feelings, the place would be four stars if I didn't have to wait outside in the Texas heat for half an hour.

Why is this place rated so low?…read more Is it because it's located at the end of a strip mall? Is it because it's not in a swanky part of town? I was greeted immediately upon entering the place. Within 2 minutes, my drink order was taken, and I was headed to a buffet. There were plenty of options that were obviously freshly prepared. When I mention "plenty," I mean several long tables of steaming food just ready to be devoured. I really do like this place, so why not 5 stars? They didn't lose a star because of the place being expensive. I was surprised about the pricing considering the amount of food you will get. They lost the star because I didn't get the Hibachi experience. No Hibachi to be found. It doesn't matter, though, Hibachi or no Hibachi, I would eat here again.
