We went at 7:30 on a Monday evening. When we arrived there were two other tables with people at them and the place was empty. It was stuffy and the carpet smelled bad. It overpowered the smell of food. It was humid as well and my husband thought it was hot. It was kind of a gross warm because it was in the seventies outside. The sushi was gushy. It seemed to be made the day before. The pickled ginger lacked the right flavor it just seemed off. The wasabi had no kick. The hot food seemed like it had been there a while and looked very unappetizing. I tried some of the chicken and yes it had been there a while. I don't recommend this place anymore. It really needs a good cleaning and my husband noticed that in one of the seating areas the management had cardboard on the floor covering something up. It just seemed very dirty. The tables and chairs weren't bad. I will not be going back anytime soon. This was the first time I have been there since before Covid hit. Looks like they have suffered. read more

this place is not worth your time. The people are rude they do t seem to speak english and i swear their food is not fresh. If you want a takeout box you have to pay for it even though i don't know why anyone would want a take out box for the mess they called food. What was I think going to China Buffet across the street?!! Once my friends and I walked in here we were totally regretting our decision to go to the other Chinese buffet place. This place was cleaner, nicer, better staffed and had a better selection of food. Buffet City has 5 rows of food stations and are stocked with many various choices of meats and entrees. They also have a pretty decent selection of sushi, but just be aware that their fish may not be the freshest. One of us bit into some TOUGH fish that really wasn't very edible. It was probably sitting out too long. I really wish they had a better selection of fresh veggies. The first time I went there they had some romaine lettuce and fresh salad mix. The second time I went there all they had was iceberg lettuce and some nasty mixed salad. Total for dinner after tip will come out to around $11. Not too bad for buffet. Just don't make the mistake I did of going to the buffet across the street. You've been warned! read more

I used to come here all the time for lunch until they gave me food poisoning. After having the honey chicken and sushi at noon I developed a fever around 2pm. I left work at and went home. By 5pm I was semi-conscious and half naked in my shower covered in vomit and my own feces. I had lost so much water I was beginning to go numb in my legs and arms. I immediately called a coworker (I'm stationed at Polk) to come pick me up. He had to carry me to his car then drive me at 120 mph with military police escort to BJACH hospital where I received IVs for dehydration. But hey you can't beat $7.50 all you can eat. read more

Staff is always nice, food is okay but not amazing. My husband and I like it mostly because it's close and convenient. When my husband apologized for throwing a bunch of sushi away because he didn't know it was spicy lady at the register just laughed and explained how to know what's spicy and what isn't. read more

Buffet Cities food tends to be bland, stale, not very fresh and you can tell some of the items are old. Some of the other items is very tough to chew so it's over cooked, they should maybe stick to something that they know. We have even been brave enough to try it a few times thinking that maybe they were just having a bad day the first time we were there but sadly NO that was not it at all. It's also not the cleanist place, so you have to really check your plates and silverware due to often times there is leftover food on them. They need to learn to season the good better, get fresh food, and heck most of all learn to cook it correctly. Wish everyone else the best who eats there I hope they get better. read more

Been going here for years since I've been stationed at Fort Polk. Not the best all-you-can-eat buffet I've ever experienced, but it's decent. Their menu is pretty consistent, and they usually have more sushi available than any of their competitors. Gotta love the soft serve! read more

There is so little to choose from in Leesville.. this place has never let us down. We are from Las Vegas and miss the sushi there.. and this is why we come here. Last time we went there was a bug on the bowl I picked up. It was a baby roach and they only offered me 10% off and then didn't even end up giving me the discount. Health department probably needs to check this place out. read more
