Guaranteed thrills on this zodiac boat tour! Wow..talk about an adrenline rush! This was basically a high speed thrill ride in a jet boat with amazing scenery. Life is always better on a boat! I was literally just having the time of my life!! 3 hours of pure adrenline and jaw-dropping views....speeding across those waves felt like a roller coaster on the water! Zooming down the ocean, wind in your hair, sun on your face...you'll have the time of your life!!! The adrenaline rush was unreal, and the views from the water were stunning. Still buzzing from the speed, and sprays. And let's be honest, seeing Van from the water is absolutely epic. You rediscover the city from a completely different perspective. The experience is a total thrill -- high speeds with the sun and wind in your face, plus those mini splashes of water that make it feel even more epic. Vancouver's coastline is stunning, but seeing it at high speed is a whole different experience. We felt safe but totally exhilarated. From the moment the ride started, the speed, fun turns, and splashes of water made it so exciting. The ride itself was an absolute adrenaline rush! Speed, excitement, and so much fun from start to finish! The speed, and scenery were all unreal. We had so much fun from start to finish -- adrenaline, laughs, and nonstop excitement. Shoutout to Jessica for the top-tier communication! Her communication was exceptional leading up to the event which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Huge kudos to our driver Ray for his great sense of humour and keeping the vibe fun the whole ride. The energy from Ray was fantastic, keeping everyone hyped up and laughing the entire time. Definitely hope you get Ray as your driver! He clearly knew exactly how to make the ride exciting while keeping it smooth and controlled. Ray's energy, charisma, and knowledge about Van were truly impressive. He didn't miss a single detail and made the entire tour feel engaging and special. Thanks to him, you really feel like you get to know the city, because he shares so many interesting facts about every place you pass. It's not just a boat ride - it's 3 hours of thrills with incredible views at every turn! The boat then stopped at Bowen Island and the tour includes ice cream on the island. It's a little escape from the busy everyday life! Life just moves differently here! I could get very used to this island time thing! I can't think of a more exciting way to experience Vancouver's scenery! We got to feel the rush of speed, soak up the splash, and experience Vancouver from a whole new perspective. We cruised through the Howe Sound, felt the ocean breeze, and took in unbeatable views of Vancouver! Speed, waves, water splashes...full-on adrenaline rush! If you're looking for something unforgettable to do before the summer ends, you need to come experience this! Some moments are best experienced from the water!! Hands down, this is one of the best experiences to have in all of Vancouver. If you're looking for a fun, high-energy adventure on the water, this is absolutely the ride to take. If you are hesitant to book this tour, I am here to tell you to just hit that reservation button.

The group had beginners and they did very good thanks Lauren teaching them how to paddle. Coming from SoCal the sea here is very different. Highly recommend for visitors. For experienced kayakers, id do a guided day then suggest a rental and GPS system.

Prices are pretty reasonable and we chose the two hour option due to our limited time during the sunset period. The staff were busy but friendly and assisted us with our kayaks. They will brief you about the kayaks, safety and where to go. Now, I would select a longer time to truly appreciate Deep Cove's natural beauty when you aren't dodging other kayaks or boats. The traffic can be somewhat chaotic in the summer time and it is main area for a lot of boaters heading out of the cove. We kayak around three islands within our two hour option, but didn't relax as much as we want. Again, the salt water, slight wind, and being in the 80's made it a wonderful but brief time.

We paddled for 6 days and camped for 5 nights. The scenery and whale watching aspects of the trip were excellent. The camps were comfortable and well supported by occasional re-supply from the base back in Port NcNiell. The camp on Sophia Island was particularly well appointed with already set tents, cots and a nice kitchen and sitting area. The food prepared by our guide was excellent and hearty. I would certainly recommend this group for paddlers of all levels of experience.

We learned a lot from him and enjoyed spending some time getting to know him. Our guide, Korry, was also excellent. He was also friendly and welcoming and made sure we were well fed and had a good time. There is never a guarantee of finding specific wildlife when you are out in the wild, but Larry and Korry knew the animals behaviors and made sure to stay up to date on recent patterns and updates from all the other local teams in order to give us the best chance to see orcas, humpbacks, eagles, seals, and lots of other wildlife while out kayaking. Even if we didn't see any whales the entire time, it still would have been a great trip. However, we did see lots of orca and humpbacks during our time. They even came right by our island one evening, where we could see them from our dinner table and hear them while sleeping in our tents. I highly recommend going with Larry and Discovery Expeditions. We hope to make another trip in the future.

So our guide had to get out of the raft couple of times to push the raft out of rocks. in between the River Rafting adventure, we also got out of our raft to do a short hike to the water fall. We also got our pictures taken there as well. Each raft could only hold a maximum of 6 people + the guide. Lunch was included in our adventure. It costed $125 to go River Rafting but it included the wetsuit, lunch and other gears. Also they posted pictures of our River Rafting session on Facebook for us to download. We also had the option to pay $30 for a USB with all photos loaded on it. Overall, I had a great time and will definitely come back. I am thinking of next time doing Kayaking. Also for River Rafting its better to go in June (I was told).

My friends haven't done the Canyon one so it was new to them. They loved it as it was even more challenging and had more dips and rapids. I sat in the front of the raft with another friend, Lee. We got hammered by the big splash of water whenever our raft would dip down over the rocks and rapids. Our guide this time was Sam, he was great and funny. My friends can be a little 'excited' so I'm glad he was able to play along with their antics. The weather was insane yesterday. It was sunny when we drove there from Vancouver however by the time we got changed and started to take the bus to the starting point, it was snowing. Yes, that's right. It was snowing. When we got into the raft and while Sam was explaining the commands, it turned to hail and then rain. The first part of rafting, it was raining. By the time we finished, it was sunny so we had 4 seasons of weather. It made for an even better experience. There were only 2 rafts this time. Last time I went, there was 8 rafts. With only 2 rafts, it was better and more personable as we are able to joke around a bit more. They have a small sauna shack so when we got back, we basically went there to warm up. Again, I recommend coming here for rafting.

My mom was a bit intimidated, but these guides are incredible at teaching you the proper techniques and safety skills! They all took the time to check in with all of our comfort zones throughout the trip and found ways to support everyone! Our group ranged from people who were incredibly intimidated to people who threw themselves into the adventure, and we all had a blast! We ALL felt incredibly safe and were able to enjoy doing scary things safely because of our incredible guides! This is such a unique experience, so if you like being outside, water, climbing, hiking, adventure, pushing yourself, or just having fun, you NEED to try Canyoning through West Coast Canyoning!! You first learn how to handle the equipment and rappel down a small cliff. Once the group is comfortable you hike a little through some beautiful trails in our gorgeous back yard, change into a wetsuit (all equipments are provided), get acclimatized to the water, and rappel down waterfalls! A lot of fun. All day experience with hot chocolate and snacks in the middle. There are a couple small cliff jumps and natural water slides for bonus. It took me a really long time to jump off the first cliff (it was a very small height..) but everyone else jumped off like champs. Also if jumping is not for you, FX sets up ropes and belays you down the whole 1-2m :). Not long of a drive from burnaby. Everyone in the group was really friendly. We were lucky to have Eric join us for the day to take photos (I have yet to see) and FX also manages takes some photos. Go while the weather is nice!
